I bought a new refrigerator on black Friday, the 1st delivery was supposed to be 12/9 i waited all day only to get a call saying the truck broke down so rescheduled delivery for the 16th. On the 16th I wait until 8:30pm when the delivery finally gets here, the driver (who spoke no English) uses his phone to tell me that they have my refrigerator on the truck but that they aren't going to unload it because they "dont have time" and the truck is somehow broken again, he tells me that it has to be rescheduled again.. and then he just leaves, WITH THE REFRIGERATOR STILL ON THE TRUCK THAT WAS IN FRONT OF MY HOUSE! The manger that was there today was great BUT the lady doing the paint was extremely rude.or course we are going to triple check to make sure the color is right. It's none refundable and we are almost two hours away. Also the lady at self check out was rude too. She cancelled out or smoke bombs off our order because we scanned to many smoke bombs then took them all off but one. We had two and she tried to say we were stealing. we thought she left two on there still. But she knew we had two. Then none of our receipts printed or emailed. Home Depot is a giant hardware store. They sell everything from tools to plumbing, to gardening, lumber, appliances, paint, and so much more. This location has a decent selection. Not the biggest store around but certainly adequate. It has many workers around to give assistance when needed. Prices are comparable to other big box hardware stores (aka Lowes), and much better than smaller chains (such as Ace). Home Depot has a website and app which are both pretty spectacular. You can search for items in stock at a particular store before making the trip down. You can also order things to get shipped to your home or to the store. Many items arrive next day or you can even get same-day pick up! Home Depot's hours are wide and vast, opening early in the morning and staying late, seven days a week. This location is located very conveniently on a main road near the highway. Staff is always super friendly and helpful. read more

This is the closest home Depot to my fixer upper cabin in Southern Colorado. I've been a frequent customer over the last 6 months shopping both on the fly in the store and also placing orders for pickup in advance. Every time, I've had excellent customer service. I've ordered everything from insulation to exterior doors to propane space heaters to specific tools I needed. Dealing with the numerous different departments and also sending in my contractors to pick up supplies on my behalf has been really easy. All in all, I've been very happy with the service there. The store is sometimes not as organized as I would like, but I think that has more to do with all of retail being so short staffed right now. I'll definitely be back a zillion more times finishing my project. read more

I don't know what is going on in this town but everywhere I go employees make me feel like I'm in their way and refuse to help anyone. Your job is to stay out of customers way and assist them. An employee came up right behind me like I was in his way when trying to get trash bags. He cuts me off to kick a box of trash bags and patronize with another employee, come on man I'm a customer you don't need to cut me off to do essentially nothing and act like I'm an idiot. I've almost been hit with pallets multiple times because stupid employees can't wait for customers to pass by they need to cut you off and make sure you get out of their way or get injured. Let's start with the parking lot. Angled parking would be wise here when you have a few dozen 2x4 hanging out the back of your truck and you are trying to back up with out running over a 4 year old. Now, let's go inside.. if you want to buy some heavy stuff like tile or bags of cement, why not have a few flat carts located inside instead of having to "go fetch?" You would think that there would be smart people running this place but you'd be wrong wrong wrong! They make it so hard to shop here so I choose to go down the street to Lowe's where you can just drive in and load up those 2x4's in your truck instead of picking them up twice. Didn't realize until I was gone , was originally a 1 because I spoke to one manager who seemed like it was no big deal. If i could give minus score I would. This store will never get my business again. Ill go without before I give my money to them again. Nobody is helpful, the aisles are full of pallets of product, you cant even push a basket down most aisles. I stood for over and hour trying to get an online order and the woman at the customer service desk played on her phone and said she couldn't do that so we would have to wait for the person in charge of online orders. I have a dozen of stories of coming into this store and the staff never helps. Will not look up from the basket they are putting up. Appliances people arent helpful, carpet people arent helpful. This store is definitely not ADA compliant and not sympathetic to people with a disability or mobility issue. Businesses have to spend tens of thousands of dollars to become ADA compliant and this place is less than compliant. How would someone get out in an emergency. I hard to weave down aisles that had a little bit of room for me to get down. They have an attitude of go somewhere else. So I will. read more

Home Depot. I order a refrigerator from Home Depot on Oct. 12th 2020. It was scheduled to arrive on Oct. 20th. After requesting time off for the installation, my refrigerator was rescheduled twice (1st on Oct. 29th and finally on Nov. 5th). The Installation Company finally arrived at 4pm pm Nov. 5th to deliver to refrigerator. Knowing the layout of my home, I suggest removing the old refrigerator and installing the new though my back door where my kitchen is located. The smug movers refused to follow my suggestion. Struggling to remove the old refrigerator, they damaged my walls and hardwood floors. After dismantling the old unit, they finally remove it from my home. Knowing the new refrigerator was larger, again I suggested the back door. They refused. After several attempts and damage to home my home, they gave up. They put the new unit in my garage and drove away. So I was left without a working refrigerator. I called customer service and explained my situation. The representative said, "I show they delivered it, there's nothing we can do" I also explained, that water line I purchased was not present. They reassured me this would be reimbursed. So I was left with no running refrigerator, no water line, and all my food left to spoil. So I had to hire an independent contractor, to move the refrigerator in my home. The contractor earliest schedule date was on Nov. 8th 2020. So now, I'm without a working refrigerator for 4 days. Needless to say, my food spoiled and I was extremely irate. The contractor took my suggestion of using the back door and the refrigerator and water line was easily installed in less than an hour. I'm extremely disappointed in these companies trying use COVID as excuse for bad customer service. I was never refunded the water line and had to pay extra for Home Depot to destroy my home and old refrigerator. Since the refrigerator , cost me more than the original transaction, I would like to be reimbursed for the water line, hall away + delivery fee and the cost for damage to my home( property and food) and cost of hiring someone else to install my refrigerator . read more

I went into Home Depot Pueblo, last week to purchase 2 gutters & 2 downspouts & connection parts. I first look all over for somebody to help with the list my son had given me. I found an employee & asked if I could get help with gutters. She came to help me. She then told me I would need a lumber cart after staring at two of the gutters for 5 min saying they looked different. I went and got the lumber cart that was sitting right next to her desk in the milling dept. where I found her. She put the two gutters on my lumber cart & told me she had someone on hold & had to go. I came home and ordered the parts online thinking I could do curbside pick up. No my only option was delivery. But for the extra $80 I would have it the next day. The next day delivery was cancelled & I got a email telling me it would be today. A week later, today, they send a SEMI TRUCK up my one lane, dead end dirt road. The poor driver had just my 2 gutters & downspouts on his trailer. It took an hour for him to get the big rig turned around, unstuck & un-high centered & deliver my 2 gutters & downspouts. Geez Home Depot, you really need to train your in store employees some customer service skills & all of this would have never happened! Kudos to that delivery driver, he delivered those 2 gutters & downspouts. read more

Horrible, horrible store to go to. I used to go to Home Depot for years, back in California, and this place takes the prize for the worst customer service ever. I had gone there to buy a grill for the upcoming season. I found the one I wanted and when paying for it, was told it would be assembled the next day. When calling the day after, as told, I was notified that they didn't have that model in stock and would not be getting my grill. The guy told me that he would put a rush for assembly on it when it came in later that night. So, I called back the next day and told that it again, was not in. I was placed on hold to talk to a manager, and after 5 minutes of being on hold, the line was hung up on their end. So, the wife and I headed down to seek answers in person. When we got to the customer service desk, surprisingly, they said it was in. Kidding with my wife, I told her, "Watch, they probably didn't assemble it"....as the customer service rep came back, he had the grill still in the box and in a cart. For kicks, as my wife complained, I walked to the grill area and see if the display model was still there. Paying for an assembled grill, I figured I'd take the display, no problem, right? Well, my wife asked to speak to a manager and we waited ten minutes for him to make an appearance. When he came up, he looked as if he couldn't be bothered and didn't not take the complaint serious. All he said was, "I'm sorry, but I'll go ahead and authorize a full refund" What the what???? Didn't even offer a display model and walked away in a hurry after telling the CSR to refund our money. So, off to Lowe's we went, found a similar grill and got it that same day. Now I go to Lowe's for all my home/construction needs, especially now that I'm remodeling my house. read more

The delivery driver illegally backed up into her driveway, causing damage to the house, gazebo, and internet and TV cables. I came in to buy paint and was greeted by a friendly girl. She explained to me how to use the paint kiosk to look at colors from behind her paint counter... then she disappeared... my boyfriend had even come in with me, left me to go to the bank, then came back and she still hadn't come back to her department. I then waited at the front desk and 4-5 employees seemed to be running around all flustered not knowing how to help customers get out the door and discussing who's lunch was up next. After waiting for SO long, I finally got someone's attention and they paged for someone to help me in the paint department.... so again, I waited there for about 5-7 mins before deciding it wasn't worth wasting another minute of my time and left. If you have a whole day to spend waiting in line to talk to someone, then this is the place for you. read more

Canyon City was $20 cheaper a bag of insulation most all the products I looked up were cheaper in Canyon than Pueblo that is a huge amount when you are looking to buy construction materials. The return policy is horrible. They scan your ID for EVERY return collecting your personal information and ID number and will deny returns even with receipt if you make too many returns with no regard to how much you spend. ID info should only be required without receipt of purchase. read more

Absolutely horrible with zero redeeming qualities. If I could give less then one star I would. I've been going to Home Depot's from Boston to Longmont and few I between, as a contractor, for 15 years. I'm in Pueblo helping a friend with a renovation and have gone to the Pueblo Home Depot about 8 times in total. Every experience if as bad, if not worse then the one before it. That aside, the customer service is abysmal. First you have to find an employee. Good luck. Then you find one and they are like stunted children. They have zero clue as to what's going on with their own staff, the materials (of which they have the worst selection of any Home Depot I've ever seen), completely incompetent to answer the most simple question, I don't need answers in that area, however the average "diyer" is in trouble if they need help on a project. THEY GIVE BAD/DANGEROUS ADVICE, DO NOT LISTEN TO THEM!! The person in charge of the tile department had a hard time figuring out what "red guard" was and if they carry it after I spent probably 10 min explaining what it was, and that they carry it and that I could see it and they just need a lift to bring down the pallet. Remarkable. These people are horrifically undertrained, and more of a hinderance then a help. If avoidable I will never being going again and make the trip to Colorado Springs. Every Home Depot store other then Pueblo I bring these issues up to, tell me to call corporate, cause that all seems horribly wrong, and that is exactly what I plan to do. Don't waste your time. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE HOME DEPOT! I've always found exactly what I needed at Home Depot. I bought a storm door on line but had to pick it up at the Pueblo, Co. store which is about 50 miles away. I'm an old lady, live alone, and have a small car. When the Home Depot person came out she advised me my car wasn't big enough. She was concerned and offered suggestions which I appreciated. Thinking about how I had already paid for it but had no way to get it home, I just wanted to bawl. Then a wonderful angel, a Home Depot Lot employee named Tony, came out and offered many self-sacrificing solutions of which I chose to have it tied down, hanging out the back with a red flag attached. Tony worked really hard to get it secured. I can't explain how much it meant to me to have someone so kind, so concerned, so genuinely good help me. I wanted to tip him but he absolutely refused. Please give him some kind of recognition because Home Depot needs him. In fact, everyone needs a Tony in their life. read more

I will never buy an appliance from Home Depot again. Nov 21,2017 purchased with cash a washing machine. Supposed to be delivered in 5 to 7 days. Three days after purchase delivery delayed to Dec 5. Dec 4 called about delivery but delivery service refused to meet my time frame delayed delivery to Dec 18. Dec 18 delivery service calls and had accident and broken truck so no washer til Dec 29. Dec 18 called Home Depot customer liason, she said she would get back to me, never called me back. Dec 18, 7pm went to Home Depot for money back, manager could care less about my home going 4 weeks without a washing machine. Got money back cancelled order. Went to Lowes, purchased same washer with more features, spent an extra 50 bucks, got washer from Lowes at 10 am the next day, Dec 19. Home Depot people were very sarcastic and could care less about my broken washing machine. Their delivery service in Colo Springs, goes by DHL, Delivery Home Link, we're rude and abusive. The customer has to meet their schedule not the other way around. BUYER BEWARE. Home Depots delays cost us 160 dollars and several hours at laundromats. read more
