    This Home Depot store in Dallas on Coit Road is well-stocked and clean. I went to look for a floor replacement and talked to Rusty in the flooring department. WOW, he went the extra mile to help me. He assisted me with explanations of each carpet and also the vinyl planks options. Also, he told me that once I get a quote with measurements, he will go over it point by point to get a clear understanding. I recommend this store to come for home improvements!

    This place is hit or miss for me. Sometimes the employees are helpful and other times they won't give me the time of day. I went in a few weeks ago to get wood planks. I asked one of the guys in the wood section to cut off 4 pieces in a specific size. He looked at me and said "we can't do that" and walked away. Completely confused I left and went to Lowes where they cut the planks exactly as requested. I went back to Home Depot last week and tried again because I was needing to build shelving. I picked out the piece I wanted and asked a guy if he could cut the the dimensions I needed. He said no problem. Often more times than not I get a helpful person and then a non helpful person. This Home Depot specifically tends to be short on employees; if not they are hiding because I can never find them. This is a decent place to go. Always clean and pretty easy to find things.

    This is a review of Home Depot flooring in Richardson Dallas. Stay away! These people do crap work. We used Home Depot to get some new linoleum installed to remove a trip hazard (seam had come undone on the old linoleum) for my 89-year-old mother in law who lives in a different city - so we weren't on-site for the installation. The linoleum had a square pattern of tiles on it and the Home Depot installer, Cooper Installation Services, installed it on a bias. Apparently they couldn't be bothered to line it up with the walls of the room. We're just going to live with the angled installation since we don't want to let these people back into the house. They left the linoleum with sticky glue residue all over it and handed my mother in law a container of mineral spirits and told her that she would have to clean the surface of the linoleum. After spending two thousand dollars I found myself scrubbing the floor to remove the glue during our Thanksgiving visit.

    Do NOT order anything by way of special order. We ordered our French doors and another door along with a awning picture window for our kitchen remodel. We call this a saga because it's still going on after 2 months. The wrong door was delivered. The window that cost us over $700 bucks was installed and the first attempt at that install we waited all day, after taking the day off, and they never came! We got a voicemail the next day apologizing that 'our window' did not make their truck. The next week when the window actually installed it was done extremely half ass you could still see outside they did such a poor caulking job. The window itself looked sloppy and quickly put together. We called. A week went by nothing. Called again. Got the number of someone named Steve. Called Steve..left voicemail. Couple days nothing. Finally Steve comes out and looks at our window said, 'what that?' Totally minimizing our complaint and the poor workmanship of the window. The sales people at the store saw the pics of window and agreed. And this guy 'the head window guy' minimizes our concerns? Poor poor excuse for a supervisor. So we had another guy come out and he was nice and agreed our window was poorly put together. And said he would order another and install it himself. The next day, Steve, calls back and says, 'we are going to takour window and give you a refund. If we order another one it's gonna look the same. So go find another window somewhere else.' WTF. I'll say it again, WTF. So all the while our kitchen renovation is held up because now instead of making this right we are tasked with finding another window...from somewhere else? And now we check on our door that was ordered almost 2 months ago and told it will be here in within a week...and checked on it today (the week is up). And told another 2 weeks... if I had papers I would thrown them in the air. Only light to this is the amazing customer service we get from James and Carolyn at the window/door desk. It's out of their hands. They did their jobs. It's the business after the order that is completely ridiculous. We have spent over $40k at this store. We are done. We may be small potatoes to a giant like The Home Depot but hopefully this give another small potato like us the knowledge before they go down the road we did and go to another company...that still cares about its product and customer service. 10/9-We were assured today we would hear back about our missing door and not surprising. NO CALL.

    A bit pricey for plants and garden stuff. Garden staff not accessible for questions. Parking is a nightmare on a busy day

It required two passes to achieve the same cut quality as my old gas-powered mower. Additionally, the self-propelled feature felt clunky and was difficult to maneuver, making the mowing experience more cumbersome than convenient. I was hoping to make the switch away from gas and oil for conveince and environmental reasons, but unfortunately, this unit doesn't meet my needs. I've decided to return to using my old reliable gas mower for now. Now for Ace, I tried to return the mower after using it for 30-minutes and cleaning it up. I was told because I used it, they would not take it back. Off to Ace corporate to see if they can help!

    In April 2025, I purchased five different kinds of Dizzy Pig seasonings while picking up an order…read moremy wife had placed for some chlorine. I collected the chlorine from the front desk and made a separate purchase for the seasonings. I didn't use the seasonings until this weekend when I fired up my smoker. It was then that I noticed the "best by" date was from May 2023. While I understand that a "best by" date is just a guideline, two years past that date is quite excessive. I called the store to request an exchange but was told "NO" due to their 30-day policy, which I understand. However, the "manager" repeatedly informed me that seasonings don't expire; they just lose their smell, potency, and flavor. He emphasized multiple times that they were not "expired." Having cooked for over 20 years, I know what happens to seasonings past their prime. When they lose their intended qualities, I typically discard them as they no longer serve their purpose. So, I ask you this: What do you buy seasonings for? The smell? The flavor? The potency? All of these attributes diminish over time. The fact that this store sells products with dates from two years ago is quite concerning. Since the manager offered no assistance, I will be leaving reviews to inform the public that this location sells outdated products and is inflexible with their "policy."

Explained cleaning and what they do as they own the smoker I got. We had to order and I knew exactly when the order needed to be in, when the store would receive it and what day was pick up. It was ready a day ahead of what they said. We got there about 5 min prior to closing but were so nice waiting til the truck arrived to load it (SIL was getting off work and rushing over). Even though it was after closing they loaded it and I never heard a harsh remark or saw a roll of eyes. Definitely will always see if I can buy from them as needed.
