Inside, a neglected pond houses a fish with a massive tumor. The water and fish are in terrible health. It's disgusting that they treat the fish as decorations rather than living creatures. The place itself is filled with poorly maintained plants. No one is helpful, and only one person seems to work at a time. Consider visiting Calloways or Lowe's instead. It's a one minute drive to either and you would be much happier doing so. read more

I love this place. I have noticed that during Covid-19 that one of my "escapes" is gardening. I am getting a lot of things done at the house, but my true escape is gardening. In all of this, based on quality, selection and price, Christina's has quickly emerged as a top place in my book. I also like that they have a knowledgeable staff that is friendly and helpful. In keeping up with the times, they have marked the grounds with 6 feet intervals and supplied hand sanitizer to their customers. They also give you 15% off with a Yelp check-in. I stopped here after I had stopped at Lowe's because it was across the street. This place is okay. Not much selection of succulents or houseplants. Prices were not particularly great. The lady there was not very helpful-didn't get her name. I asked her if they had a certain house plant, and she said there's a few houseplants inside. Another guy came after me and asked her if they had any rosemary bushes, and she said no we don't have. Not very helpful-didn't offer any more information or when they might get any. Not sure I would come back for anything since Calloway's is right down the road and offers a better selection and more variety. read more

Christina's has almost everything you could want or need at the time of the year you arrive. I was there on April 20, 2023, and they had the plants that other places wouldn't have, even latter on in the 'season'. It was great and saved me having to run to two or three other places. I just can't say enough good things about this place. The prices are the best in town and the quality is top-notch. My family and I have been coming here for years and they are the nicest staff. They are a local, family-owned business who truly care about their customers. As an example of the knowledge of the staff, I called a few garden centers (Calloways, Lowe's, Home Depot, and Christina's) and asked if they had a few plants in stock. While the other places had to place me on a long hold and check, Christina's employee knew right away if they had the plants in stock. And if they didn't, she knew what day that week they would come in! I was so impressed. I highly recommend checking this place out for the best prices, the nicest employees, and of course, the free hot dogs! read more

My fiancé and I stopped in here on our way out from Lowes. It's literally right across the street. They have a huge selection of flowers. We wandered around for a good amount of time before we finally made a decision. There aren't many people there to help you. The entire time we wandered around we didn't see anyone we could ask questions. We had to go up to the window of this little cottage like structure and ask for help. The lady at the window then sent someone over to us. We picked out flowers, paid and then loaded up the truck. Prices here are cheaper than at lowes and the quality of the flowers is a lot better. I would recommend going here over lowes. If you check in on Yelp you get 10% off. But you have to use the offer within 3 hours or it expires! read more

Cristina's has a good variety but very few of the plants have labels or prices on them. So, you end up lugging a plant up to the cashier, wait in line, then ask the cashier what it is and how much it is. I think that's a bit shady. Why not label your plants? We did finally find some plants that were labeled, only to find out that they were mis-labeled by the "distributor." But you put them out that way anyway? We went across the street to Lowe's where we found exactly what we needed for about the same prices at Cristina's. Don't waste your time here. read more

Not a great experience because there wasn't anyone around to answer questions. We wondered around for quite a while, and found that many of the plants weren't labeled with the names or prices. We assumed we'd eventually bump into someone who could help us, but we were wrong. We were at the back of the nursery, had yet to find a person to help us, and didn't feel like dragging all the plants we liked to the cashier window to find out what the plants are, what environment they are suited to, and the cost. Maybe you're supposed to go to the cashier window first when you get there to ask for help? We just decided to leave because having the plants not labeled was too annoying. We ended up at Calloways where we were immediately greeted and helped by a very kind sales associate. We were able to find the same plants we saw at Cristina's and some additional ones. No clue if the prices are different since Cristina's didn't have anything labeled. read more

Due to its central location, this Cristinas attracts an equal number of contractor and residential customers. I still drive to this location because of the competitive pricing on flats and potted plants, even among other Cristinas locations. Since my last Yelp, prices and demand have steadily risen. The selection of flora here are limited to the tried and tested, mostly commercially available plants, so if you are looking something truly special OR unique, you'll have to shop elsewhere. Depending on the season, you may encounter knowledgeable and inexperienced help. read more

I have been coming here since they opened. They always have a really nice selection of seasonal flowers and shrubs. Great for someone with a house or an apartment because you can buy plants by the flat or by the individual. Seasonal plants run .94 a piece! 1 gallon pots are $6.80. My backyard is filled with perennials from Cristina's. During the growing season I come every weekend to see what they get in. High quality plants but with less selection than Calloway's so, as with all plant buying experiences, know what you are looking for before you buy. Never buy a plant and then try to find a home for it. read more

Horrible business practices, no help, no good parking, the one thing I bought from there had a disease and killed some of my other plants. I will never return. They do not look like they are operating legally either. I just went across the street to Lowes and found everything I needed - not to mention Callaway's is around the corner. read more
