    My new washer

    I ordered a new washing machine on Monday. Delivery date was set for today. I received a phone call that they were coming within 15 minutes. They were here in 10. They took the old washer out and put the new washer in explained what to do next and they were gone! I have NEVER seen such efficiency like this before. They were awesome!!!     We were looking to buy a new dryer, as the old dryer was starting to go, it still worked for the most part, we just decided it was time for a new one. We went ahead and bought the dryer from them, it was a smooth process, however when it came to delivery it was a completely horrendous process. My father and I were working, so we entrusted my mother to handle the delivery process which should have been at 8:00 AM. We had 3 gentleman come and deliver the dryer on Tuesday 9/13/22. When they first arrived they just sat in their truck talking an laughing for roughly 30-45 minutes, we knew they were here to deliver the dryer, as we were waiting for them to deliver. When they got out, they started to take the dryer out, but my mother noticed that there were scratches and paint peeling all over the dryer, and if we paid over 1000.00 for a drying machine, we would want a new one, and not one that looks used. They attempted to convince us that if you use hot water and a rag, it would come off. My mother called them on their bluff, and sure enough, she showed them that it wasn't even coming off. She refused the delivery as the machine looked downright old. They started taking our old dryer out, and instead of simply unplugging it, they decided to just cut the wire, I have attached a picture regarding this. I can't tell if these men knew what they were doing, or if they had the combined IQ of a rodent, but it seems like unplugging would have been very simple, rather than cutting the wire. They then proceeded to move the drying machine to the middle of the garage. When my mom refused the delivery, which I should note, there are scratches, and paint peeling off the dryer. As a matter of fact, our old dryer actually looks newer than the dryer that they were trying to deliver. When my mother refused the delivery, they threw a huge attitude, and begin complaining. With our old broken dryer in the middle of the garage, they decided to leave, my mother had asked them to move the dryer back at least, and they looked at it and just left. I am sorry, but this is not the way customer service should ever be handled. We now have a broken appliance that they broke, and no way to dry our clothes. We had to call our electrician to come and install the wire back on. We have never had service like this before, what a bunch of incompetent workers. On the bright side though, we learned a valuable lesson, it is time to start shopping at Lowes.

    The Home Depot offers a wide variety of items. In fact, you could spend hours in the store looking for what you need. You could also spend a lot of time in the store looking for someone to help you. It looks festive in here today. Christmas trees galore and a lot of beautiful Christmas decor!

    Receiving, unloaders are lazy I do not have any idea who's training them and actually approves of some of these unloaders.

    I am beyond frustrated with my recent experience at Best Buy. I purchased a Samsung soundbar…read moreopen-box in "Good" condition, and even called ahead to confirm my order was ready for pickup. The employee assured me it was waiting. After driving 1.5 hours to the store, I was handed a soundbar in "Fair" condition -- not the one I ordered. When I pointed this out, the employees didn't even bother to check the order properly at the counter. Only then did they admit my "Good" condition soundbar had already been given away to another customer. How does this even happen? Why confirm my order if you can't keep the correct item aside? This level of carelessness shows a complete lack of accountability. My time, gas, and effort were completely wasted, and I left empty-handed despite doing everything right on my end. Best Buy needs to fix their open-box handling process immediately -- inventory should be tracked accurately, and confirmed orders should never be handed off to someone else. At the very least, employees should care enough to double-check what they are handing to customers instead of brushing it off. This experience has left me feeling completely disrespected and deeply disappointed. I expected far better, and unless changes are made, I'll be rethinking where I shop in the future.
