I ordered a gas stove top was told it would take a couple of weeks, 5 weeks later no stove top and nobody at the store was able to find out why or when I might be able to get it. If I were to order it at the Cheyenne WY store It would arrive in about 10 days. I believe this is a failure by corporate to properly equip this store with the information they need. Cheyenne is about 90 minutes from here but I'm trying to support the store that employs our people in the area. Home Depot Corporation is not helping and I hope they can resolve this. On a side note get someone knowledgeable to fix you disastrous website. read more

Don't go for the carpet free install I paid them in full upfront when the installer showed up, they charged me another $2 a square foot to put down tack strips with special glue. They did not stick carpet pulled up so I refused to pay the extra they turned me over to claims where I ended up settling for $1 a square foot. read more

My husband and I visited the Home Depot in Scottsbluff, Nebraska this afternoon as we were checking out we were helped by T who was unfriendly, unhelpful, and rude at best. This is the first time we've ever had someone be so rude about the military discount. If you don't know how to help me figure out the app that is fine, but there was no need to be so rude and condescending when I asked for help. Helping people is the job is it not? She was also very rude and unhelpful when we had accidentally grabbed the wrong tool for the deal we were trying to get. Luckily there was a young man there too, that I unfortunately didn't catch his name, that helped us find the right one instead of being irritated that we needed some assistance. read more

I have had the worst retail experiences with this store! I ordered $3000 worth of carpet (not the one I wanted because it was in back order for MONTHS) and a week later I got a message stating it had shipped and told me a date it would be in. They lost it.... I FINALLY got it 2 weeks later. They made us wait over an hour at the store to pick it up because no one went to go get it! Next..... BEFORE I ordered the carpet I had ordered $3500 worth of kitchen cabinets. When I made the order the guy said it would be 3 to 4 weeks to get here. After we ordered it all, the next day we were told 6 weeks!! so 6 weeks later, I get informed that the cabinets have FINALLY shipped. Supposed to arrive a week later. A week goes by, nothing. I call the store and was informed that it had shipped.... The day AFTER they were SUPPOSED to be here! NOW I wait to see if they show up in another WEEK!!!! All the manager on duty can say is "Oh sorry." Don't waste your time with this store! It might be a little cheaper but the headache has cost a LOT MORE! read more

Probably one of the worst experiences I've ever encountered when it comes to home improvement. Specifically flooring. Spent thousands of dollars here ordering flooring. They don't have enough on site so they need to special order it. NOTE to self and future buyers. Translation of special order means nightmare to come. Flooring ordered, get sent to their order coordinator via phone. Hours, yes hours later, finally get their guy to come and measure what we need. Including transitions, baseboards etc. Guy calls and basically tries to talk us out of doing the floor in our whole house. Says it's gonna take a few hours to measure. I don't care I say. We want it done. Guy shows up, spends hours measuring floor and tells us what we need and sends to mother ship Home Depot store. So we order what he tells us what we need in the flooring we want. Flooring ordered we wait for email confirmation that it is delivered to Home Depot so we can schedule delivery. Get email that flooring is at store. Call store. Nope, not there. Call back 2 more times that week and tell them email from their own order/shipping department says it's there. Nope not there. FINALLY call again, about 8 days and say we've gotten no other emails...it has to be there. The guy on the phone puts us in hold for about 15 minutes comes back and says, yah it's here. Been waiting on you to call and schedule delivery. No joke! Oh. BTW our installers are booked until October so good luck with that. Use someone else to install and have over $500 of extra flooring that their own Guy not only measured, but employees at the store encouraged us to get extra to be safe as you can return any unopened box. Did I mention multiple errors in the order on baseboards and transitions?! Go to return extra/wrong items. Told can't return special orders! What?! It's only special because you didn't have enough in stock. I tell the CSR that's unacceptable and want manager. Won't be in till later...of course. Left my number. Get call from manager. We will let you return it for 15% restocking fee!! Whatever. I'm so over this store and experience at this point we drive to store and get 85% of what we spent there back. Never setting foot in there again. read more

Very disappointed in Home Depot Scottsbluff. My in-laws have been waiting for floor and baseboard installation since MAY!!! They currently have an unfinished job and Home Depot continues to drag their feet and ignore their calls. This is completely unacceptable! read more

This doesn't happen for me often, but I had a perfect day here today! Usually I go into almost any store and the "help" turns the other way, not today!!!! I had phoned before and spoke to Tyler in appliances and he was a joy on the phone. Today, he happened to be working and he was the one that helped us buy our freezer and he was a joy in person!!! He was so nice and he didn't try to sell us anything extra and I just can not express how enjoyable he was. We were in and out in no time! Thank you, Tyler!!!!!! read more
