A worker was talking about a costumer and her dog very negatively saying that she should not be able to bring her dog into the store even though everyone does it but she was really arguing about the fact that's it's a pit bull and that the dog should not be aloud in the store. The dog was perfectly fine he didn't bother me, my mom or my son he was very friendly and gentle. I have a Doberman at home and he wouldn't hurt a fly and if somewhere were to judge my dog just because of the breed I would be very angry and hurt. The worker was very out of line and shouldn't have said anything if she has an issue with it she should be talking to her manger about it not arguing with a costumer back and forth she was very unprofessional and shouldn't be working there. Doing a home renovation & unfortunately this Home Depot is the closest to my home... no one knows where to find anything, knowledge on any of the products or could help us in anyway regarding what we may need. Purchased a 5-piece bath kit that was high up & when we asked an associate to help get it down for us he said we could get a ladder & get it ourselves since it's pretty light, lol!!! Then we waited 30+ minutes on two separate occasions for vinyl sheet flooring to be cut only to have the same guy both times randomly show up only to act rude & inconvenienced. Shout out to Kyle for being the only who could help. Definitely sticking to Lowe's from now on. read more

I hate Home Dept, it's always dirty and dark and never have the stuff I'm looking for. Most sales associates I've talked to know nothing about anything. I asked one time about a sump pump and was told they don't carry them only to walk around and find them on my own. When we first purchased our house, I found Home Depot a godsend. Over the years, I have found it to be more a business and less a panacea for me. Yeah, it's a business. Some of the product seems to be cheap. I have become more cautious of just getting stuff here. On the positive side, HD handles a lot of Weber products, so I can get things for my grills as I need them. The garden center is pretty good for basics, although I stay away from the plants and flowers. More and more, however, I shop at Lowe's nearby. read more

Shea was so nice to take my order over the phone and set it aside for my wife to pick up (as she works close to there) she hand picked 6 pieces and made sure they were not broken and ready for my wife to pick up. I shopped here in November and come to expect a little less than spectacular customer service. There was a time when employees were required to walk a customer to an aisle to find a product and not just spout off the aisle they think it is in. Yet this last trip completes my transition to Lowes. I was ignored by the lumber dept cashier while he finished his conversation with a manager talking gossip about another employee. He ignored me further by walking away from us to a different cashier that was trying to get his attention to help us. He finally rings me up and proceeds to circle the online survey. He doesn't mention it, just circles it. When I got into the car I filled out the survey and asked for a manager to reach out to me. That was almost a month ago and no response. Very disappointed in the customer service. My boyfriend and I went to Home Depot to get lumber for our house project tonight and found that the lumber we needed was high up. We asked for help and waited 20 mins. No one came. We looked around for someone and couldn't find anyone. So my boyfriend started climbing and we eventually got the TWO pieces of big lumber we needed. As we were getting lumber down and visually struggling and as my boyfriend was up high with the lumber, workers were passing by not even asking if we needed help or even looking at us. As all of this is happening toward the end I noticed the cashier was watching us the whole time and didn't even call for help. We both walked out frustrated and thankful we both didn't get hurt. read more

The online appliance service is horrible. I couldn't get the right town, so I placed a phone order. They misspelled my name & put down the wrong address. After I received the email confirmation I immediately called back. I was given quite a bit of misinformation. Needless to say that the major appliances couldn't be delivered as requested. Home Depot didn't offer any compensation for all of the problems ( and time wasted) I'm now required to wait for a refund! Wasted a lot of time, money and effort for nothing. Don't order any major appliances from the Home Depot! read more
