This Home Depot location is the ABSOLUTE WORST location in MI. Store personnel are never around to assist and when you do find someone, they are clueless. Also, their prices are 20%-50% higher than other Home Depot locations south AND north of them; the other locations are all the same price. West Branch location is ALWAYS higher. This store also is rarely in stock when you need something and I usually have to travel to another location anyways. Management is clueless at this location. Anything special ordered to this store has always been an issue picking up (email received that the ordered product has arrived). They can never find the order on the shelves or its still on pallets in the stock area not received even though the email indicating receipt was several days to a week ago. This is insane especially when I am a Pro and trying to finish projects/schedule with my customers. AVOID this location at all costs. read more

Not sure if being a female is the issue. I walked in and asked where plastic sheeting is. One person had to call another worker and I was told somewhere in the back. When I went in the back, I couldn't find it. I waited forever before someone that worked here no came around. He showed me where it was, and then walked away. Needless to say it was higher than my head, and some person who didn't work there had to help me. I am not pleased with the service here at all read more

We went to Home Depot in West Branch to get a new toilet. When we got to the aisle, a young man named David said he could help. He certainly did. He stayed with us through all phases of getting the toilet. He put it on a trolley, went through checkout with us and helped to load it in our car. He was extremely pleasant and helpful. Unfortunately the local hardware is just too expensive and I have to go to Home Depot. I would strongly advise against buying things that need to be installed by them. DIY or don't purchase from them. Home Depot will not right a wrong in my opinion. read more

We go to this store a lot while we are at our cabin. We have rented several tools from them and had a great experience. The rental department employees are knowledgeable and helpful. You are always greeted upon entering a department in this store and the employees are helpful and take their jobs seriously. Store is clean and well organized. We wish this kind of Home Depot (and attitudes of employees) was the standard everywhere. read more

I made the mistake of buying a premium garage door from these people, after more than a month their vendor showed up with the door without the hardware I requested, they installed the door and at first seemed to be opening and closing OK, but after 24 hrs the insulation around the door frame set up and and the door is stuck, to me, they deserve less than the one star I gave them. Still waiting for them to get back, if this is not resolved I told them they can come a get the door. read more

Super disappointed in this particular store. We did an entire kitchen remodel and as soon as we made the purchase we received terrible customer service. The kitchen I described is not the kitchen I have now. The appliances were exactly as described and I have no issue with those items. The design and configuration of my kitchen did not meet my expectations despite fully explaining the kitchen of my dreams. We tried contacting the salesperson and received "I'll look in to it" emails. We contacted the store manager and received the same response. My experience with this particular store is that customer service is severely lacking. Extremely disappointed to spend this kind of money and be bummed. Overall the products were fine. My husband bought a tool package that included some saws for $200 from West Branch Home Depot. When he returned home, I told him to return them because my late brother had a set in his pole barn. When he went back to the store, he realized the receipt showed the store had charged him for two sets equaling 400.00. (he had bought a lot of items and wondered why the bill was so much) They refunded 200 for one kit, but said they would have to look into the second charge. Understanding people can be shady, my husband was agreeable. Now, they are giving him the run around; he has gone to the store multiple times and the manager is never there and won't return his calls. It has been a month. Big corporation keeping 200 dollars of a family's money that is supporting 5 children. All they had to do was look at the video surveillance to see that only one kit was purchased. But if we were to have stolen something, I am sure we would get expedient service and attention. read more

I bought a large toolbox about 10 months ago. The holes to put the wheels on were not lined up. I called the store and they told me to bring it back to exchange. I told them I could not lift it by myself. The gentleman on the phone said he would see what he could do and get back to me. About 45 minutes later a car and trailer pulled up with a completely assembled toolbox. The person that brought the toolbox to me was the store manager. Plus being a disabled Veteran I get 10% off my purchases. Great store, great service. read more

Bought laminate flooring from home depot and used their contractors to install it. Noticed some planks were seperating at the ends some i filed a repair claim in February 2019. November 2019 is when someone finally came to do repairs which were never completely finished, repairman said he would come back in February 2020 to finish because he wanted to see how his work held up over the winter months. February came around and repairs were never completed and home depot will not take responsiblity nor have any more repair work done. read more

I am rating this Home Depot in West Branch for the installment of a new Kitchen. The people at home depot were great. The people above them don't care, nor do they get back to you when you complain. The installer worked by himself, the cupboard doors are uneven, scratches, the plumbing for the sink was shoddy and leaked for a month before we re checked it, because I was getting a smell. It took 9 months, 7 of those without a kitchen sink, using our small bathroom sink. I will NEVER EVER use them again for installing ANYTHING. This company has gone from a great place, to a place I only go to when I have to. I hope they get it together, cause I'd rather drive to Bay City and hr. away then go here. read more

Very disappointed! Carpet job was a disaster. Their installers for my carpet is United in Grayling. 2 times they punched holes in my in floor heating. The first time took them whole 10 minutes after they began installing carpet. Took 6 months getting carpet installed. They finally came back after I contracted plumbers to replace line in floor because they only wanted to patch the inline floor heating. Finally got inline floor fixed they came back and "Did it again"! I threatened to get a lawyer. I got Plumber back. They insisted on patching this water line again. Drug it out finally I hired Plumber paid 1400.$ to replace line carpet finally got installed. United or Home Depot now don't return my calls letters nothing. I'm out 1400. Bucks. Think again. Menard's is just 40 minutes away big stuff I go there now plus when they have 11% rebate I save a lot. Sorry to complain for the most part the people in the store in West Branch are good folks just don't trust the corporation there just for the money! read more
