Great food, staff is very polite, prices are very adequate. We've been eating at this restaurant since 2015 with no regrets.

Okay Brown City. This little community gem serves up a smattering of everything. American, Greek, Italian, BBQ, sandwiches, pies, you name it. Menu has a section on Mac n cheese- two of us got snagged by the Mac n cheese served in your own skillet. Any there had the burger and last of our party of four had the special fried catfish. So the catfish is still being talked about days later, Mac n cheese was super. One had the brisket Mac n cheese (good flavor- meat wasn't very tender. Service was good and we enjoyed a great dinner. We were hoping for pie but clearly this is a popular item and they were only down to cream pies! Good on you Brown City! This place is great! read more

First time coming I called they do not take any reservations. I had a table of 6 for 8pm, they sat us promptly and took our orders. Place was super clean bathrooms were a little messy but staff was really nice. We got Saganaki and this was enough for all of us to have a little bit with plenty of pita to go with that. The cheese was absolutely yummy. I ordeeed the sesame chicken which was cooked to perfection. The flavor and and crunch of the chicken was better than most Chinese places I have tried. Around the table we got Mac n cheese so good and did not have anything left, COD which I was told very fresh and also cooked very well. Poutine which is not the authentic Canadian one but still there spin of poutine which was also delicious. Phenomenal food and service! We came here after traveling to North Branch for an event. 4 people all extremely happy with everything. The burgers and fries were amazing. We also got the pulled pork Mac n cheese and pesto pasta special. SO good. Food coming out was a little slow, but we enjoyed the time as a family and it didn't bother us. What a little gem! This is a very well-kept very small little eatery with a really fantastic menu. One of the members of our party was absolutely joyous to see that there was fried catfish on the menu. I had to go to burger which ranks very well Among the good burgers in the area. Everyone was exceedingly pleased with their meal and it was pretty reasonably priced as well. I really gave it five stars to kind of emphasize how it stands out in the area. Ate here recently after several recommendations from the locals and reading the review in the Port Huron Times Herald. Arrived to a packed house, and after about a half hour wait, found out why: I was VERY pleased with both the service and the food. I had the brisket and Mac-and-cheese combo: evil on a piping hot skillet! My family also had several of the selections off the Greek portion of the menu. The one drawback: it's a small restaurant, so if your party is bigger than six and it's a weekend, well, good luck, and even if it isn't, expect a wait. Clean, top to bottom. That's the number one thing that matters. Menu is a little to big. But not a mark against the owners. Reasonable priced and freshness matters and they hit the mark again. Haven't been here in awhile but the food remains excellent. Had the smothered chicken again which is one of the best dishes I've ever eaten. My buddy had the italian sub. I firget what it's called on the menu. He enjoyed it immensely. It's huge. The salad was quite large and very fresh. I need to visit my friend more often. read more

Definitely one of the best restaurants within a 20 mile radius. I eat here on a weekly basis and have had most of the menu items... the menu for the most part is all good quality food for the prices asked. I would suggest ordering any of the specials or burgers if you've never eaten there before. Very friendly and talkative staff, I've never had an issue with any of them and I hope the experience is the same for everyone else. They do offer take out orders, reservations, etc. However, the restaurant building is small so it may be difficult to seat parties of more than 6 without calling ahead. read more

It was our first time here. The decor is incredible. Very clean. The wait staff was very friendly. It was at dinner time so considering wait times is a given. We order the fried pickles which were delicious. Then my daughter whose 5, ordered the spaghetti, I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich. We got our pickles, then half through those my daughters spaghetti came out. 10 mins go by... my daughter is done with her food and I had yet to receive mine. Now 3 or 4 mins go by after she was done and still no chicken sandwich. Finally it arrived and by now she's impatient, full and ready to go. I asked for a to go box because let's be honest, I wouldn't have enjoyed it with a kid whose ready to be outside because it's so nice out. The waitress apologized and said I'm not sure why but they always focus more on the take out than the dine ins. This appalled me because people arrived after us and they had already got their food as well. I think they need more organization on the way the tickets get back to the kitchen. So everyone is being served fairly. I'm not sure if my sandwich is actually good or not because I had to reheat it by the time I arrived home. read more

Loved the decor here . We were excited to try this place because we like to support local businesses. Experience wasn't the best. Waitress was new I could tell but she was very friendly. She did take awhile to get our drinks but hey i can handle that too. Restaurant was about half full . Nice menu with alot of choices. We placed our order and then about a half hour later got our appetizer. Fried pickles which were amazing. Then everybody around us started getting their food. I thought ok maybe ours takes longer no big deal. Well an hour rolls around and my 7 year old is basically everything but crying because she is so hungry. I try to get the waitress attention but no go. So 15 minutes later we decided that we werent sitting there any longer. This was 1 hour and 15 minutes after we ordered . We did tip well because i am a nice person and understand these girls do work hard but for it to take that long for a kids meal and 2 dinners was a bit ridiculous. We paid for our food and took it home because it did end up coming up after i went to the counter and asked about it . The food was good i will say but that was a crazy wAit .
