We stayed in the apartment at the hostel, which was actually an entire house- living room, kitchen, 3 bedrooms, a bathroom, and laundry area. That was the best part of our stay. We were shown in, a little tour of the house, and given our linens. Our bedroom floor had some kind of white powder on it, with footprints. The woman showing us the place shrugged it off. One of the beds had collapsed because the slats holding the mattress had fallen out. When we picked up the mattress to fix it, the floor under the bed was filthy. It's was a twin bed, so there's no reason a vacuum couldn't reach under. We went down to the kitchen and there was an old pizza box on the counter and the trash can was full. We put it the box and trash on the back porch. There is no way this place was cleaned between visitors, which is downright dangerous in these times. When we checked in, we had to sign a waiver saying if we got Covid19 they couldn't be blamed. I thought that was really odd- and then we saw the place. I hate giving such a bad review because this town is badly in need of all the revenue it can get, but there is no excuse for the condition of this apartment. read more
