They are certainly busy and he had to step away a few times to finish paperwork with his other customers but we weren't in a rush and didn't mind. Our sofa was delivered a few days later, delivery was seamless. The doorframe to the room it was being placed in was causing it to not fit, but they removed it and quickly put it back in. Pretty good service - if they had more stock options for sofa beds to look at, I would have preferred it BUT I am happy with our choice!

One of the very first questions that I asked Mark was if they offered haul away. That is what was going to be the deciding factor on if we went with Bob's or w/Ashley Furniture (we had found another bedroom set over there). Bob's offered haul away for a fee, and we were happy to pay that and so we went with them. After we racked up our $7,733.61 bill, Mark read our order (including the haul away) back to us, item by item. Then as a second check his manager (male, dark hair, w/tattoos) did the exact same thing. Read the order back to us line item by line item- including haul away. I know that we went over this because we talked about how the mattress would automatically be taken away since we were buying a new one there and that there were 3 other items that needed to be taken at time of delivery. We paid and left. I do not work at Bob's Furniture and so I did not realize that I should have probably asked to look at their tablet to make sure that between the two of them (Mark & the manager) that the haul away was actually on the ticket. Well surprise, surprise! Somehow it was NOT on the bill! After both of them reading us back the order line by line, there was NO HAUL away added. So what happened today on delivery day (8/1)??? They wouldn't deliver our furniture. My bedroom is completely emptied. The clothes are out all of of our dresser drawers. Everything was moved out to make it easy for them to haul away the old furniture. This is CHAOS! I called customer support and was transferred to the "resolution line". They should call that the "no resolution line" or that "all we can say is sorry" line. They do NOT resolve anything. Caroline was NOT helpful or friendly at all. In fact they made it seem like it was our fault that haul away wasn't on the ticket. I don't work for Bob's! If a customer is spending this much money and starts the conversation asking for haul away, wouldn't you expect that this would be ON THE ORDER??!! It shouldn't be my job to make sure that this is on there when the customer specifically asks for this! When was the last time you saw a customer ask to read the associate's tablet to verify the order? How awkward would that be?! This company is terrible! I have NEVER been so upset with a company. I called the phone number that was on Mark's card, and it got me to a lady named Michelle. She was very kind and was able to get a message to Katie a manager at this location. Katie has been helpful and very nice. She was able to get our order rescheduled for Tuesday (bc they don't deliver on Sun/Mon) and they are giving us a very small credit to our account and cover the haul away charge. I do appreciate this, but regardless though this is a gigantic inconvenience and I am highly displeased with this company. I believe that because of how smooth the sale went with all of their "checks and balances" (reading me back the order x2 w/a manager involved) it gave us a false sense of security and that this would be a "Bobtastic" delivery as they say. Get outta here, this has been an absolutely lousy experience. Call it "Bobterrible"! Tuesday is our delivery so we shall see how that goes. The other kicker is that my 5 year old had a small child size chair that she couldn't wait for. Rather than let us know they were leaving the delivery drivers just left and took the chair with them. They wouldn't come back because the "can't". 0 out of 100 experience so far. It sucks too because initially I would have told everyone to go here for furniture. We will see if Tuesday's delivery makes up for any of this. The last piece I would like to mention is that I run my own company. We break our backs to make our customers happy. We will send our technicians out for free if we need to, to make sure that our customers are never let down. Although Katie has been helpful, the customer service line and resolutions line is a total let down. I cannot imagine that when Bob opened this company that this is the kind of customer service that he envisioned. Just awful. I'd sure love to talk to the highest up in charge. Give them some suggestions.

I was dropping off some donations and couldn't help myself and left with a beautiful wooden stove cover that can also be used as a giant charcuterie board in my opinion, a cast-iron cross, an outdoor candle lantern and a fruit bowl. Great finds! I was really impressed with the high quality of the furniture that has been donated & for sale at really reasonable prices. I'm afraid if I had a truck I would've left with much more! Haha! The shop accepts donations of light furniture, decorative household items and collectibles. A much better option to donate your gently used home decor, collectibles and light furniture because you know EXACTLY where the funds are going from the sale of your donated and purchased items. The store is super clean & the volunteers working the store are the sweetest! Tax receipts are given for donations and purchases upon request.
