I was very specific in what I wanted and Ksenia had a similar vision to furnish the 1200 sq ft 3 bedroom condo two bath condo with mid century modern furnishings. She was a very good consultant. She guided me in the things I needed to do to prepare the space for staging. I only asked for a few things like bar stools for the counter and a patio bistro table and chair with an outdoor rug. Other than that she had full artistic freedom. I was truly impressed with how the placed looked after she was done. She recommended having the house professionally photographed as well by Open Homes Photography who was also very quick and easy to work with. Disappointed - Warning - Sandra from Fresh Home Staging requested a $4,000 deposit towards a total…read morecharge of $5,000 to stage my very small one-bedroom apartment. We agreed upon a $3,000 deposit as I thought a $4,000 deposit was too high. Luckily for me, my apartment sold off the market weeks before it was to be listed. My realtor contacted Sandra TWO WEEKS before the staging was to be done and she refused to refund all or any part of the $3,000 deposit. The contract did state non-refundable; however, it didn't seem reasonable that she would find it conscionable to keep the whole $3,000 deposit. My expectation was for a reasonable conclusion. Not to mention my realtor uses her often. She gave him no regard either (favor to a frequent client since she works with him often). Very disappointed in how Sandra handled this situation. Overall, bad experience, and I would not use this company again.
