I called their customer service representatives over a dozen times, but they will not resolve the issue. At times they won't even accept or return the calls after they told me to call back or schedule calls at a certain time. They are very unprofessional and cannot be trusted with your money. I accepted a job offer with a non-profit in San Francisco who also had Guardian insurance; I had tooth implant surgery for this pulled tooth when working with my new employer. Although both procedures were done under Guardian, I'm told these two situations are considered "different policies", because I was with "different employers", and therefore had a "different group number". So apparently - - - Guardian Dental Insurance ... is not the same as Guardian Dental Insurance ... is not the same as Guardian Dental Insurance. BEWARE. This, despite my asking for not just one, but two estimates of coverage from Guardian, two months before my tooth implant surgery, and then one month before the surgery. Both times Guardian estimated paying a substantial portion. Now they say: Those were estimates only. They won't know the "real" amount they will pay until the actual claim is filed after the work has already been done. Once again: BEWARE.

They run out the clock and keep your money. All denied. Appeals, approved or denied by their own internal group, sent in 40 pages of paperwork, denied. I'm contacting the attorney general in my state. This is in practice a scam company. My account still has my balance there in their portal, they say it just doesn't exist anymore in their system. Their call center staff laughed and thought it was funny when I said i had sent in 40 pages of paperwork. Another staff made me get signatures from a school closed for the summer and I later discovered the signatures weren't even needed. Given direction and how to fill out forms for receipts and told I had until the 30th of September back in May, then submitting it is suddenly past deadlines I received no notice of. This is a scam. I'm sending over my meticulous notes on the obstruction throughout to the Attorney General of my state.
