    Latte Flight

The latte flight was DELICIOUS and the sausage, egg, and cheese biscuit was yummy as well!! The staff were also super friendly and it was a great experience overall! I would definitely recommend it and I will be going back soon!!

At the Howland Bean Coffee Shop. I like the atmosphere better at the Market House Caffe. This place is less cozy and more "cafeteria" style with harsher fluorescent lighting. However, they have Italian Gelato, sandwiches, good music AND my favorite coffee, Jamaican Me Crazy!

I was out thrifting in Warren so I decided to give Cockeye Creamery a try after seeing it…read morerecommended by an online article. Located on the North side of Warren on 422 the Creamery is located in the parking lot of Cockey BBQ. The menu is a bit limited compared to most ice cream places, it has cones, dishes, sundaes (hot fudge only, milkshakes and ice cream sandwiches, plus hand packed pints and quarts. The variety comes from the variety of unique flavors of ice cream; I tried to get a picture of the flavors board, but the video screen was in the sun and was very hard to read. Service was nice, I got a sample of the Cornbread and Sorghum, which was unusual and very sweet. I ordered a dish with 3 scoops, which was a generous portion. All the ice creams were creamy, not too rich with good flavor, also the ice cream was served just at a great temperature, firm, but not solid so that the flavors really hit the palate. The Key Lime Pie was Key Lime ice cream with graham cracker and marshmallow creme, nice and balanced if not as tart as real key lime pie, but still tasty. The Kong, banana ice cream with graham crackers and mini buckeyes was great, the banana flavor was as good as I have had in an ice cream, not artificial at all. My favorite was the Andromeda, chocolate ice cream with brownie pieces and chocolate chips. The chocolate ice cream was the real star here, rich and chocolaty and not too sweet, this is what you want if you are a real chocoholic. Cockeye Creamery is concentrating on making great ice cream in some unique flavors, well worth a visit if you are in Warren and you want some high quality ice cream. Definitely worth a visit when you deserve a treat.

From the moment you arrive, the experience feels intentionally unhurried and charming. Ordering at the window adds to that classic ice cream parlor nostalgia, and the outdoor seating invites you to slow down, sit back, and actually enjoy the moment instead of rushing through it. On a warm day, it's exactly where you want to be. The Service, omg the service was amazing, they care, they listen they even try to help with custom non menu item requests. And then there's the ice cream. Magnificent. Truly. Rich, creamy, perfectly balanced, and unmistakably homemade in both texture and flavor. Each bite feels indulgent without being overwhelming, and it's clear that quality--not shortcuts--is the priority here. This isn't just dessert; it's craftsmanship. Handel's manages to do something rare: it delivers consistency, atmosphere, and exceptional product all at once. Whether you're stopping by with family, friends, or simply treating yourself, it feels like a small celebration every time. If you appreciate great ice cream, thoughtful simplicity, and a place that understands the value of doing one thing extremely well--this is it. Highly recommended.

Sometimes, all you need to soothe an overindulged stomach is a perfect scoop of classic vanilla, and Handel's absolutely delivered. I love the old-school, no-fuss vibe here. It's a classic walk-up window setup, with the ice cream hut at the center of a spacious parking lot, making for a super easy in-and-out trip. Service was quick and friendly, exactly what you want. For those who want to linger, there are plenty of picnic tables with umbrellas. Or, you can easily get a lid and take your treats to go. While my friend dove into a delicious Butterscotch Ripple, my simple vanilla was exactly what I needed--creamy, rich, and the perfect palate cleanser. They have a huge menu with tons of flavors for every possible craving. It's the ideal spot for a quick, high-quality after-dinner treat. A true classic.

The shop is located on Elm Road and you have to lol for the sign as it's smaller and I passed it twice before finding it. It's not Uber fancy but the staff is very friendly and welcoming. We stopped in the week of St. Patrick's Day and bought a dozen cupcakes to sample. We had Heath Bar, Baileys Irish Cream, Cookie Dough, Buckeye, some really cute Sesame Street Decorated ones (Cookie Monster and Elmo) and a Lucky Charm one. They are decorated really nicely and were so moist and fresh. The Cookie Dough were my favorites. The ganache icing was really flavorful. Overall we were a bit sad at the cupcakes themselves. While they were pretty and they were very moist they lacked flavor and tasted like a box mix. At $25 a dozen I was looking for a bit more "Wow" for my buck. The Lucky Charm one was cute but by putting the cereal into the cake it just makes it mushy. It would have been better to work it into decorating on top. The Elmo and Cookie Monsters both had an aftertaste in their icing which I did not care for at all. The Baileys were good but the only flavor was the shot of Baileys that came with it. They have a selection of cookies and candies but we did not try those. Perhaps I'll stop back and try those soon. Will defiantly update when I do.
