Hopefully today he learned that when you go out of your way to mischaracterize what another person says, there are consequences, especially when laced with unearned self-righteous indignation and coupled with a refusal to serve the customer. The interaction came across as dismissive and unnecessarily confrontational. Businesses thrive or fail because of their people. Judging from many of the other reviews here, I am by no means alone in experiencing very poor customer service. I reached out to the owner with my concerns using the name and number provided to me at the store but I never heard back from that person. The person in charge of the company's yelp did reply to me below which I appreciate but there's no reason for further communication, better to lay this to rest. Especially when there are enough options in southern Maine to go elsewhere. Try GREEN TRUCK in Kittery, INDICO or MARCS ORGANIX also in Kittery. Other spots too - up in Ogunquit or down in Eliott. I know for a fact there ARE indeed several nice folks who work at theory wellness- but for me, there's enough other options so I don't have to take the chance. I'd rather go someplace where I feel more comfortable because the staff are more welcoming. At theory, I felt like I walked into someone's bad day and they just happened to be a bud tender. The staff provided good service at the time, but when a product fails on day one, that's a serious issue. Instead of resolving the problem, the store accused me of not being a real customer and implied I had some kind of agenda. I wasn't told to test the vape since it's a 510 thread and didn't require it. I even uploaded proof of the faulty product. I'm a regular shopper in the area with hundreds of verified reviews on Google, yet they dismissed my complaint and called me a scammer. This store doesn't take responsibility for its products and resorts to baseless accusations when faced with criticism. I can't support a business with such poor customer service and accountability. Especially when I've visited both locations, purchased items from one, and been ignored at the other. The owner would clearly rather spend their time arguing with real customers than keeping them.
