They offer well known brands such as Pandora, Michael Kors, Guess, Pilgrim and Thomas Sabo, along with their own range of jewellery. The pieces on offer are stunning and priced competitively. The customer service is fantastic, as when I enquired about a ring I was after and had seen elsewhere, they didn't stock it but were able to get it in for me the following week. Ended up deciding on his design and I am so relieved that I changed my mind from the original I wanted. Studio was very hygienic and the experience was great, despite the pain obviously (which was expected and didn't bother me too much). Detail and shading in the tattoo is fantastic! I know has had at least one treatment with them. They offer a wide range of treatments such as facials, makeup lessons, manicure, pedicure, overlays, extensions, weight loss treatments, kids parties, bridal makeup and makeup lessons, gift vouchers, spray tanning, the list goes on! A nice touch also, is that they remember all of their clients at Christmas time by sending out a card. I like About Face a lot, and it would still be the salon I would consider first, out of the many salons now open in town.

It's quite small so you always feel like he's looking at you as you wonder round trying to find a little hidden gem among the mass of items spread out over 4 glass counters. An eye bow wax is priced at £8.50 which is heading towards expensive but the standard of the salon reflects that. I've also had a back, neck and shoulder massage which was 20 minutes of blissful pampering and took the tension out of even my bunched up shoulders. The massage table is a beautifully comfortable leather one and warm towels were used to keep the unexposed bits of me warm. I really didn't want to leave and was so chilled out that I didn't even shout at the children, husband or dog for the rest of the day. What a result! Now I'm saving for the eyelash extensions at a slightly more eye watering £80. I think they're a must have for summer!

As a result I spent a lot of time appreciating the venue instead. The way the seats are tiered and arranged in blocks around a gentle semi-circle facing the stage meant that there appeared to be very few, if any, 'bad' seats. The illusion of intimacy and closeness to the action was apparent everywhere. The sound system was superb, sadly given the rubbish on-stage, the seats were very comfortable and the bar was, thankfully, only a few steps from where we were seated. A very subdued crowd gratefully exited the venue in only a few minutes at the end. We returned to the city centre for a deserved nightcap in shocked silence. Seriously though, this is a great spot for a concert.

The downside was the price of the drink...I expected that it would be a bit more pricey than some places, but charging £3 for a red bull? Scary business! Our first round of drink cost £72! It's honestly like going into someone's living room if you enter into the small bar, pizza is served by the slice for £1-2 and is scrumptious. A Drink is not overly priced either. In the main room at the back they have a variety of shows on offer such as comedy and music nights and even a burlesque night I recently attended. All and all the cultural heart and soul of the cathedral quarter.
