Recently heard how good this place was so we stopped by today to try it out and let me just say "WOW!!!!" We ordered the lemon pepper chicken wings, pickle fries, a black lemonade, and a mango frozen infused lemonade. Everything was made fresh and was simply amazing. Fun Friday date night! We had the BBQ and Buffalo wings, fries, and pickle fries. Great little gem in downtown Goldsboro. I love Ice Cream, Ice Cream does not love me so this old dog is limited to a single scoop in a cup. (Sad Face) Anyway, lets move on. I order a single Butter Pecan and who knows what brand it is, or do they even make it on premises, but I really enjoy it. They have other flavors too! So, you did not come from Jays and just want something small then come here for that, Hot Dogs! Hot Dogs and Ice Cream! For a while now, I've been a fan of the Hot Dog Bar, which was simply a hot dog cart that roamed Downtown Goldsboro's Center Street, selling the most divine hot dogs you've ever had in your life. The owner also decided to start making fresh lemonades (called "Twisted Lemonade Factory") - and they sell some darn good ice cream as well (hence, "The Ice Storm"). So really, everything you need is all located in one place. Visited this place on a whim and an urge to try some fancy blackberry lemonade lol. Everything is about 3 bucks or so and it can really add up. Spent about 20 bucks on two lemonades, 3 hotdogs, and a cup of ice cream when I took my wife to eat there because I knew she'd love the lemonades. The chilli seems too mild and sweet to really consider it chilli. It seems more like sloppy joe mix. I think it'd be awesome they should include a regular chilli as well and keep it in a crockpot to keep it warm rather than having them microwave it, which doesn't always work produce the desired result...They messed up my order a few times. The Lemonades are however the best thing about the place and one of the main reasons I return. I've had Blackberry, Tripleberry (cran,rasp, and strawberry), and muscadine (native american grapes). They were all soooo good. They don't have a lot of seating...It's more of an empty area and long bench seats on one side and one 2/3rds as long on the other. seats about 10 people total. The place has three arcades out front, the original Mortal Kombat, NBA Jam, and some other one. It was nice to see, but it'd be better if they had games I'd actually play or the ones with multiple game titles installed.
