Handing your child over is so hard, but these ladies were a God send. From day 1 we were both so comfortable, I never worried about her for a second. That comfort is immeasurable. My daughter thrived here so much, and learned a ton. If you are able to get your child in to her daycare, don't hesitate. You won't regret it. I am forever blessed to have had the opportunity to have my daughter be under their loving care!

Now, almost three years later, he's transitioning to TK, and while we're excited for this next chapter, leaving Peek A Boo feels incredibly bittersweet. From the very first visit, my husband and I felt confident in our decision. Joy took the time to give us a tour of her home and walked us through everything she provides--structured routines, meals and snacks, learning activities, and most importantly, a safe and nurturing environment. Signing the contract shortly after felt like a no-brainer. The setup was exactly what we were looking for. Peek A Boo offers so much more than just care. Each day includes circle time (songs, counting, shapes, projects to bring home), marker time (drawing, coloring, learning to write names), outdoor play, naps, and consistent routines that help young children thrive. Our son's speech and confidence noticeably improved within the first few months--something we attribute largely to the positive environment and social interaction at daycare. Joy and her two amazing caregivers truly became like family to us. They celebrate birthdays and holidays, and there's a real sense of community. Trusting someone with your child, especially at such a young age, isn't easy--but not once did we ever feel our son was unsafe or uncared for. Joy is incredibly transparent, professional, and communicative--whether it was a quick text, a newsletter, or an email about upcoming vacations or events, we were always in the loop. We are so grateful for the love and care our son received at Peek A Boo. He adores Joy and his friends, and we know he's going to miss seeing them every day. We absolutely loved our time here and already plan to enroll our next child when the time comes. Thank you, Joy, for giving our son such a beautiful and loving early childhood experience--we will always hold Peek A Boo close to our hearts. We highly recommend Peek A Boo Daycare to any family looking for a safe, nurturing, and enriching environment for their little one.

In order to assess his level of interest, I downloaded the trial version of an iPhone game/app called Code Spark Academy. This app allows the user to create the intricate details (levels, rewards, etc.) of a game and then play the game. During this time I noticed that his traditional games and even television shows were put on the backburner. While driving through Elk Grove I noticed a new (at least new to me) establishment called Code Ninjas. I immediately found their website and saw that they offered a coding camp based on the popular platform Roblox. Thankfully, the class was being offered on a day that fell within my son's holiday break. Before registering my son for the class, I ran it by him and he enthusiastically said "YES!" After submitting the payment information, I received a welcome packet from Code Ninjas (outlining the facility rules) that I quickly completed and submitted. The morning of the camp I packed a lunch for my son (Code Ninjas does not provide lunch), and we hit the road! After being warmly greeted by the employee at the front desk, I signed in my son, kissed him, and sent him off to explore the world of coding! When I arrived to pick him up, he did not want to leave. Aside from putting the finishing touches on the game that he created for Roblox, he was "networking" with his fellow coding camp buddies. During our ride home, he could not stop talking about the coding camp. He explained to me in detail the game that he created and that his game was saved so that he could resume the modification of the game upon a return visit. I highly recommend Code Ninjas for any parent that has a child that expresses interest in coding. Yes it is a bit pricey ($89 for the coding camp), but it will definitely pay off (literally) in your child's future! I am already planning on registering my son for the Minecraft Coding Workshop. Thank you Code Ninjas!

I wish there were more places to take the kids that teach them fun, hands on, real world skills. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this if you are a parent that has a child always wanting to play video games/Fortnite and can't pull them away from the screen! This will definitely make them appreciate all that goes into developing a game. I can't speak much to this part, but it even looks like they have a camp that teaches how to code drones that they can fly around.

After initial testing and recommendations for treatment she explained our daughters individual plan thoroughly. She has answered every question we've had and quickly returns emails and phone calls. The staff has also been wonderful with our daughter. They engage her in areas of interests (like star wars!) and then draw her into the lessons with ease. Though she does not like school our daughter loves coming to her "pace" appointments. We saw small benefits of the treatments and lessons very quickly and continue to see a gradual and steady improvement in her areas of need. Her teacher at school has also noticed the changes. We attend KP twice a week and also compete homework (most) nights. If your child needs help, you'll find it here!

In general, the staff is very nice, including Carol Hess. Sadly her nice personality does not take away from the fact that 12K spent did not translate into better grades; to the contrary, my daughter got the worst grades of her entire life right after KPLC. Also, turns out that there was a miscommunication with Kaiser. They only do hearing tests, not testing for Central Auditory Processing Disorder. So, I am going to go to my alma mater Sac State for CAPD testing for $200.00 rather than the $750.00 the woman Carol Hess recommend. Big savings for something my daughter probably doesn't have anyway.

So we were more than grateful when he decided to accept our son for one-on-one tutoring. Thomas was behind in his reading skills when he first came to Mr. Summers. We were also very pleased that Mr. Summers was so understanding and generous with his time. He was always willing to help Thomas finish his assignments, even when Thomas needed a few extra minutes after his time with him ended. Mr. Summers has a unique capacity to understand kids very well. Mr. Summers welcomed her into the class right away. He somehow made Zoom school fun and engaging. He recognized that my child was writing above her grade level and called me and had a long conversation about the many ways he could challenge her academically. He is skilled at differentiating teaching to challenge and support students of all learning levels. He paid close attention to my child's social and emotional needs as well. He is very empathetic and kind and gentle with his students, and I would find myself listening in on the class, just because he was so sweet and funny and so very kind. If he was offering tutoring services here in San Francisco, both of my children would be enrolled. I cannot say enough wonderful things about him as a person and as a teacher.

Math has always been his favorite subject, so I wanted to find something that would challenge him and nurture that passion. From the first visit, he loved it. He actually love the center more than his math class at school. The atmosphere is welcoming and positive, and the tutors are incredibly patient and kind. They know how to make learning fun while still keeping it structured and challenging. That balance is so important at this age. What I really appreciate is how they start with a placement test and create a customized learning plan. It's not random worksheets; it's intentional. They truly map out how to strengthen foundations and build confidence step by step. We signed up for two sessions a week, but they gave us extra 1 sessions (optional to join) but my son asked to go three times because he enjoys it that much. To me, that says everything. If your child loves math or even struggles with it, I highly recommend checking them out. Strong math foundations early on can make a huge difference later, and I believe this is an investment that's absolutely worth it. They help kids from K-12. So grateful we found a place that makes learning exciting instead of just screen time. Anh Thu Nguyen Kevin Nguyễn, the owners are incredibly kind, supportive, and genuinely care about each child's growth. thanks.

Directors and every single teachers are always welcoming, nice and so friendly which makes it so much easier to leave toddlers on rough mornings. The ratio of teacher to kids is the best part, all kids get personalized attention and care. I am not even exaggerating, they all get their own set of stationary with names labeled, every day my toddler mentions about something new she's learned and shows work at the end of the week (pretty amazing!) especially for parents who really want balance between play and learning in pre-school. Having been through Goddard and KinderCare I thought we just had to compromise on overall cleanliness/hygiene of the center and kids being covered in food, snot, colors, dirt and marks. Nope! this preschool is so clean and well maintained every single day! they all look so clean at the end of the day because they really make an effort to keep up with the hygiene. They don't have any apps or digital portal for update and it took us some time to adjust but to be honest in pre-school it's not really a big deal. We've never had any situation where we've felt the need to know every single update of the day. They pay such good attention to each child that if we really wanted to know about how much they ate, frequency of potty time etc. they easily update us verbally at end of the day. Overall we are extremely satisfied with our decision. Just seeing all kids being loved and cared by every single teacher is so heart warming. Really appreciate LFM family for proving such a safe and happy environment for our kids in Elk Grove location.
