Awesome class and even more awesome instructor! Mike led the class and was very to the point. He covered a good amount of material in a short time. Here's what I liked: - Easy scheduling - laid back "no pressure" atmosphere. - Easy to communicate with the friendly staff - inexpensive - welcoming; for example, you can sit through classes for free if you feel you need more instruction - comfortable environment ; The class was small in a nice area and building on the second floor. - set you up for success which is how it should be! Note: I did have to go across the street to pay cash after the class but it was no big deal. Plan to have cash on hand in the event you cannot pay electronically or just plan to stop at an ATM after. Went here for an ACLS class last year and I loved it so much I had to come and get my PALS cert. the class is simple, straight to the point, and the instructor sets you up for success. There's no fluff material which allows you to actually learn exactly what you need! It's also the cheapest place in the area. I'm so glad my classmate told me about this place! I've taken several BLS and ACLS classes over the years and this one has been the best so far! I recently renewed both certifications with them for a second time. The courses are very reasonably priced, and they accept either cash or Venmo (the courses are a little cheaper if you're paying by cash). The courses are taught efficiently too. I will be completely heartbroken if this place ever closed. I am HIGHLY recommending this place for CPR, ACLS and PALS. The name is no joke. I was so nervous my first time because I didn't know what to expect. After completing all 3 certifications, I will never go back to my hospital's classes or anywhere else for that matter. Some say the prices are pretty expensive but I feel they're well worth it. I am out of there in 4 hours with no mock codes and being tested over and over. You watch the AHA videos (the instructor will even pause and tell you what to pay attention to) and then you go into the test. You also do one round of chest compressions but this is nothing compared to what my hospital puts us through to be certified. I cannot tell you how happy I am that these guys are located in Elk Grove. The only recommendation I have is to do cash because it's cheaper and make sure you have an email address for them to send your cards to. They will not print them. read more

After searching online to find a training service reasonable for the budget of a single parent, I found this company with absolutely the best prices in town (and the bay area). I needed both my CPR and PALS and I was certified for BOTH for $190 (If you pay cash with your ACLS or PALS class, they pay for your CPR so you save $70!) Some of their services: ACLS = $179.99 PALS = $189.99 CPR = $69.99 PHTLS = $249.99 What I loved most about these classes aside from the cost are the instructors. My instructor, Travis B. was extremely knowledgeable and helpful when I needed clarification. He encouraged us to ask questions and was very welcoming from the beginning which greatly decreased any anxiety I had coming to the class. He even offered us complimentary candy and coffee throughout the training to keep us awake, alert, and oriented which was a great little energy boost. And yes, they do have comfortable leather chairs that swivel so I basically kicked back and enjoyed the class. I will definitely be back to renew my ACLS in eight months! read more

This is my first time getting my ACLS certification. I went to the aha website and I found this place. I needed to get my ACLS certification asap for my job, and my time is limited. Some of the pros of this place compared to others is the availability and cost. He advertises that he offers classes 7 days a week, and I am pretty sure he's not lying about that!! When I called to schedule a class, he gave the availability and I scheduled it! He said if there's only one person in the class, he won't cancel, and this is such a great plus for people with busy schedules! When I arrived in the class, it was a very relaxed and comfortable environment. The term "no stress" really applies to this place. He really prepares you, and I love that it is a 1-day class. I think one of the biggest advantage of this place is the cost. Other places charge more than $200, he is definitely less than that. His price is very reasonable. If you pay cash, there's a discount. Woohoo, so bring cash! I would definitely recommend this place to others who is seeking for BLS/ACLS/PALS certification. Travis, the instructor, has a lot of experience as well. read more

one of the easier place to renew classes BUT unprofessional from their one instructor. Veronica Sexton was one of the worse out there. she was so rude that she makes you feel little. she makes fun of students and calls them out if theyre not participating. will not come back for this. if you happen to enroll and shes there, run because she will harass you. I forgot my ACLS and BLS were about to expire until the last minute. I couldn't get any classes through NCTI which is who my hospital sends us to. A coworker recommended No Stress EMS. Desperate for a class, I signed up for one on. Sunday morning. It was scheduled as a 6 hr class for ACLS with BLS after. I was bummed about giving up my day off and nervous about the class since I had never been to this company before. It exceeded my expectations! It really was NO STRESS! The class was small. We finished really quick, and I will be canceling my PALS through NCTI and coming back here. I would rather pay out of pocket for this class than go to my employer paid class! read more

When they say no stress training they're not kidding this place is pretty amazing I worked in healthcare for 20 years and everybody knows this stuff can really stressed you out the guys do a great job of getting you through getting you trained and getting you back in the hospital where we belong. The only thing a little bit tricky is finding the place it's not very well marked is on the second floor right off the staircase through the double doors look to your right you'll see their name on the board and just walk down the hallway usually one of them is sitting at the desk. Best place for taking ACLS and PALS! I recommend this place over any other place in the area. The instructors are very nice, and very helpful. I have taken ACLS at other places where it takes hours, all day or even 2 days to renew. Also places where the instructors are rude and condescending! Total BS!!! Who needs that. We are adults...right!? They teach well and get to the point @ no stress. As hospital workers most of us work 12 hours shifts full time. No one should have to eat up time on their days off to recertify. No stress ems is the perfect place for hospital workers with busy lives besides work. Mike was the instructor yesterday morning for ACLS and I actually look forward to going back in the future! Only downfall it is cash only, but it is money well spent! read more

Mike was very informative and approachable. He tells some jokes and stories in between which was great too. No Stress EMS really lives by its name. Travis was awesome! I was pretty nervous going into class because ACLS and PALS are intimidating but he broke it down to us in such an easy manner that I felt really comfortable with what was going on plus he has experience. If I got something wrong he didn't make me feel stupid about it. He was totally easy going; super chill ass dude. Unlike some places that require you to purchase the books, Travis doesn't. He has provides the books for you to use in class. Freaking awesome! What's even more awesome is the fact that even if you're the only person taking the class he'll still teach it. I was in a group of 3 for ACLS that morning and after that I was the only one taking PALS. He still taught me as if there were other people in the class. He also teaches classes everyday. I mean I freaking came in on a Sunday. That's almost unheard of! The area that No Stress is at has a few places within walking distance to go eat so if you need to take PALS, ACLS, BLS, etc in one day, you have options for lunch without having to leave the area. The best ACLS/BLS renewal experience! They teach and review what you need to know without getting overly repetitive. To the point. Quick and easy. I love that they allow you to do BLS renewal at the same time too. This is unlike my prior renewal experiences, which lasted all day filled with confusing information and stressful (and TWO days since I had to do BLS renewal separately). Their pricing is one of the cheapest too but definitely does not mean lower quality learning experience. The instructor is very knowledgeable, attentive and answer questions well. Called this place, got a text back. Text was instructions to text another number. Texted with that person, was told to text another number. Seemed like a rogue/unofficial instructors gone wild kind thing (lots of that happening with covid EMS education). Got a hold of a fire/medic type of person who runs a totally separate operation from "No Stress." Was told to do PHTLS online then call back for a skills session. Can't get a response now so I have a worthless 50$ PHTLS online portion certificate and cant get a skills check off. Was really hoping I'd have a solid experience with this operation but got ran around. The text system could work but needs to be presented more clearly that "No Stress" does NOT do their own PHTLS type stuff and that it is outsourced and needs to be made clear that they do referrals. Hopefully this review gets someone's attention and I can get set up for a skills check. I'd love to not have my online time go to waste and would prefer to leave a good review here but I've been stranded here... read more

This is the place to go for literally no stress on taking ACLS, PALS or BLS! I have done it through the hospitals for the past 15 yrs and very stressed every time. I was not a fan of any of these classes or exams. After taking PALS last year here and now ACLS i feel so relieved that stress is no longer a factor!
