My brother went to the Ink Pusher 2 days ago for his first tattoo to be done by Dymond and received a terrible piece of work. While doing the tattoo each stencil was laid down on his arm and tattooed one by one so my brother was not able to see the full product he was getting before it was done. This was his first tattoo and the artist knew that! After the tattoo was "completed" my brother went home and was able to look at what had been done and was completely disappointed. My brother went to another known tattoo artist in the valley to get it looked at and talk about a plan to get the tattoo fixed. This tattoo artist agreed that Dymond had done a terrible job and gave my brother a piece of work that was nothing like what he asked for. Luckily this new artist is confident he can fix and actually complete the tattoo. Today my brother and I went to the Ink Pusher to talk to Dymond or the owner about the unsatisfactory work and see if we could come to an agreement to make the situation right. Right off the bat Dymond was super unprofessional, defensive and blamed it all on my brother. A few quotes from him include: "If you were to blow up the image of what you gave me and the tattoo I did they would be exactly the same" "You told me you were happy with it that's not my fault" "You only got it two days ago you just need to give it more time to heal" "I'm not going to give you your money back because it's not like I get the tattoo back" My brother was not given the opportunity to say if he was happy with it or not because he was never shown the full stencil before it was tattooed. Also the only thing they both agreed to change was the font. The angels are supposed to be exactly the same aside from them being mirrored and my brothers angles have completely different faces/ heads, wings, leg sizes and looks, arms, and the list goes on. Not to mention the terrible sizing and spacing between the angels and the font. Dymond had no sympathy for one of his own customers and blamed HIS OWN WORK on his customer. If this artist was not comfortable or confident with the design my brother wanted he should have said something before doing the tattoo. read more

Let me start this with if i could give 0 stars i would. We talked to some male worker over the phone on friday and asked if we could get an appointment for saturday. We were told it was only walk ins on saturday and that he would just get us in at 6 pm considering our circumstances. He told us we didn't need to give us a deposit and asked us to just not screw him over since he drives 90 minutes to get home. He ended up screwing us over and not being there at 6 for our scheduled appointment, they were actually closed even though the website said they close at 10. I can't believe I'm the first person to leave a review here? This business was recommended to me by several locals. I just had my rook pierced here by Kelly and he did a great job! Prior to the actual appointment, I was communicating a lot with Greg - although they don't always pick up their phone, Greg was great about getting back to me promptly after I left voicemail inquiries. My only critique would be how I needed to wait about 25 minutes in the waiting room after my scheduled appointment time. Much of it was taken up by the woman before me who wanted to talk at length about her ideas for her next tattoo with the staff. Normally this wouldn't be a big deal for me, but I was unfortunately running late for something. However, I can imagine how this is simply the nature of a tattoo/piercing shop =P So Kelly had a very calm and soothing demeanor, perfect for if you're feeling nervous. He totally talked me through what he was going to do before the piercing, and also as he was going through with the piercing. The rook piercing is a free hand piercing, so he had no way of "clamping" onto any part of my body in order to ensure precision, and with how great mine turned out, I imagine this requires some legit skill. When I told him it was my birthday, he threw in a free H2Ocean Piercing Aftercare Spray - so awesome. Of course, I made sure to tip the guy. Would definitely recommend this business! read more

Greg is amazing and completely professional, clean and detail oriented. I have a severely deviated septum and he managed to pierce it completely straight and took his time to make sure everything was perfect! I am completely happy with the work I've had done today. I also had an issue with it not being able to flip up (work related) and I came back in. Greg fixed that no issue either. Horrible interaction. Very unprofessional. The owner Kelly is a thief and a liar. I had invested $450 into deposits to hold nine appointments for me as I need a lot of work done. I went in, showed him what I wanted, and he said ok and acted a little too good for it, or me. I chalked it up to maybe he had a bad day. So 5 months later, because that's the wait time, I take work off and ready my mind and body for this work. Go in at noon as I was told and he says he scheduled someone in my place. So I am not happy right away and demand my deposits back, as I don't even want to use him now because my paid for appointments are not kept. I'm refused any money back and am treated like a lesser person. Go anywhere else this shops work is mediocre, as many of my friends have his work. He only gets away with his shotty work because he has no real competition down here, and so he takes advantage of these people that have no other options. Both other shops in Alamosa are great, and even better is Living Art in Colorado Springs. Do not waste your time going here and getting gouged on price and have to wait a half year for work and not get your appointment. Go to a professional, the more competition the better the artists. You have to keep this piece for life, you can get a better piece, and pay less, and build a better memory anywhere else, especially in the city. A liar and a thief do not trust.. read more
