So far our experience has been great. It's a new location and facility looks neat and new. Joanne…read morethe director sat with us and explained where my daughter was at and how many tutoring hours would be needed to get her back on track. They're pretty flexible with the schedules. They have changed tutors every now and then but them being new I'm sure like everywhere else struggles with staffing but no matter what someone is always there and she doesn't seem to mind the change. It's been a few months and I think has made a difference in her confidence and I noticed her percentages on tests have improved but we still have ways to go and feel Sylvan is definitely helping us get there. They also have a reward system to get mini prizes for doing good work and that keeps them motivated.

Okay so I a biased because I work for them but having worked for some of the other agencies in…read moretown, who shall remain nameless, I have to give College Nannies kudos. Pay rate is good, for the child care industry, and the families I have had the honor of serving have (mostly) been wonderful. We are so lucky to get to make an impact on childrens and families all over the valley. The hiring, onboarding and orientation process for me was quick and efficient and I have never had any problems with my management or fellow Nanny's. Highly recommend this service to any one who can afford it - it does get a little costly for families, but the care is literally second to none in the valley. If you are looking for part time, full time or oncall work in Vegas and have experience and a passion for kids and families, look no further, they work with your schedule too!

Danielle the Operations Mgr did additional research and was able to help me with my reservations. I really appreciate Danielle for assisting and Matt the owner for emailing back stating I'd get taken care of. My previous review came about due to the extra hurdles I had to take this time around. In the past I would relay to the caregiver and Jovie and then Bright Horizon would contact me to approve any updates/changes. Which was a lot simpler than me connecting with 3 separate entities/individuals. Other than reservation challenges between the two companies, and some slight issues with prior caregivers, I would overall rate Jovie 4 stars. I'd give Cindy 5 stars for providing exceptional care to my son. I'm not sure if my prior caregivers were part of Jovie so I will not leave my experience with them here.

Location where the SCAM takes place:…read more The Olympic Collection Conference Center 11301 W. Olympic Blvd., #204 Los Angeles, CA 90064 310-575-4585 I received a letter to attend a workshop and I right away assumed it was somehow tied to my sons high school but it's not. The presentation sounded pretty promising and after that was over they sat with each family one on one to try to sell you one of their packages. As I was waiting to kill time I started Googleling them just to find a lot of scam alerts. I had already wasted 3 hours so I still wanted to hear what the sales person had to say but I had already made up my mind. She walked me through the outline and then the sign up fees and was very pushy about taking a payment. I took some pictures to share with other parents.

Folks - stay away…read more Like many parents, I received a letter informing me that my child was already enrolled for an appointment. The services 'Right C3' wants you to pay $$$ for are all provided *for free* (or low cost) from other local agencies. Where to start in any city: 1 - Make an appointment with your high school college advisor/counselor. They are usually a great resource for providing information on scholarships, grants, financial aid, application tips, college visits, etc. *Important note* - Most colleges now require a letter from your high school advisor/counselor. Some high schools have a formulaic way of developing these letters, but since they are often writing for hundreds of kids, it often helps the advisors to meet with a parent to really understand what college will be the 'best fit.' Set up your appointments early Junior year if you can...Sept. - Feb. is the busiest time for them. 2- Your high school principal(s) AND your local library are also key primary resources. They should have the names & contact info. for agencies in your area that offer free test prep, tutoring, college support & other similar services. Special note for ST. LOUIS county families - Beyond the schools & libraries, there are also some excellent & comprehensive St. Louis-area programs to support your student. Many of these focus on low-income or first-generation college students. A few examples: St. Louis Graduates has a big "Scholarship Central" database, financial aid workshops & application assistance, links to college access programs in our area, etc.: http://www.stlouisgraduates.org/ The Scholarship of St. Louis offers workshops & clinics, scholarship support, student advisors & more: https://www.sfstl.org/ College Bound starts working with kids in 9th grade: http://collegeboundstl.org/ Washington University offers an excellent college-prep program: https://collegeprep.wustl.edu/
