They got the job done...barely. Due to flooding and losing…read moremy teenage son, my wife and I hired All Civic to get my daughter her license because we did not have the time and mental state to teach her ourselves. Other reviews were good for All Civic so we hired them. My daughter did not like any of the instructors. The company was flexible and will to work to our schedule, including Sundays. We were ok with them until the end. We arranged for a 1 hour lesson before they brought her to the road test. We got a call the day before saying the woman would be late, instead of 2:00 she would be there at 2:20, we said fine. The woman didn't show up until 2:40. My daughter asked her how to turn the lights and wipers on and the instructor told her she didn't need them....it was raining and cloudy. My daughter insisted and she begrudgingly showed her. Her road test was at 3:00 so they went straight there with no lesson, luckily its only 5 miles away or they would have been late. My daughter passed the road test and my wife stopped by from work to take a picture. The instructor said oh, your mom's here she can take you home and left. Every other driving instructor (including others there from All Civic) brought their student in and got them their license. My wife was supposed to return to work but now had to stay to get the license and bring my daughter home. This cost me $80...basically it was a 5 mile taxi ride and they took $80. I called the owner and complained, he told me he was with a student and would call me back...still hasn't. If that's not enough, I have now been trying to get her 6-hour behind the wheel certificate from them for the past 2 weeks and still don't have it. Shouldn't a professional school simply automatically give it to me? I would never hire them nor recommend them to anyone.

I passed my knowledge test and got my permit with their help. I'm a person who struggles with anxiety so shoutout to Albert for being my driving instructor for my 6 hours, he was incredibly calm, patient and understanding when I made mistakes which I couldn't be more grateful for. I'm still nervous but I'm way less anxious about driving now. My only complaint is that it takes a bit to get everything scheduled and there was one time where I was supposed to get a call discussing my six hours but I never received it. I had to call the driving school the next day and then we got everything set up. Overall I'd recommend Toms River Driving School because of their patience and kindness with teaching me!

Only reason I gave her a decent rating after the course is cause I do t trust her to do the right thing. We also received a lecture from her about honesty after hours of bad and false information. She was welcomed with open arms and made to feel just like she has been there all along. She has grown so much and loves what she is doing. The staff is phenomenal! They are helpful and caring. You always are made aware of things well in advance. The instructors are amazing, caring and patient with the children. Which was concerning because it was only a 45 minute class. . The way she spoke over me was very rude. The teacher miss Kelly was childish and passive aggressive with her comments , after I made the complaint about her classes starting late. I didn't send my daughter back the last few weeks of Tap because I just felt super awkward because of these women .. Overall it is a cute place, we just had a bad experience. . Just don't express your concerns and you will be alright.
