I discovered this shop off a basic google search for the area I was in at the time. I initially…read morespoke to one of the tech reps, a gentlemen by the name of Kyle. The exchange was very professional. No arrogance or condescension, just clear comms on what my issue was and what they could do to resolve it. I vetted some other shops in the area as well. Linx 8 pricing was very reasonable in comparison. I believe a big part of that was the free diagnostic on my computer. In many other tech shops, a diagnostic, by itself, will run you upwards of $40 to $50. So that was already key indicators in terms of value add. Also, the work they do on your computer is automatically covered under warranty, so that was reassuring as well. Full disclosure: at the time of writing this, I'm still having them trouble shoot an issue on a computer they worked on for me, but it's very minor. However, the original work they did for me was solid, and the customer service was top notch (very consumer-centric), which, in my experience, is key in these sorts of things. So, for all the reasons mentioned above, I'd definitely recommend giving them a go if you're having any computer issues. The owner, Ali, is also very understanding, and threw some stuff in free of charge to get the job done. If you go here, you'll likely get more value than you paid for.

We purchased an 85" TV and were told--very clearly--that the $119.99 "unboxing and setup" service would take care of getting the TV up and running. What actually happened? They showed up, took the TV out of the box, plugged it in, and left. That's it. No remote setup. No WiFi connection. No programming. Nothing. The TV is now literally stuck on one channel and completely unusable unless we figure everything out ourselves--which defeats the entire purpose of paying for "setup" in the first place. When we called to have them correct this, we were told it would be ANOTHER $99.99. That's nearly $220 just to get a functional television--something that should have been done properly the first time. Calling this "setup" is misleading at best and dishonest at worst. Removing a TV from a box and plugging it in is not a premium service--it's the bare minimum. Anyone could do that. This experience feels like a bait-and-switch, and it's incredibly disappointing from a company that's supposed to specialize in electronics. I would strongly caution anyone considering their setup services--make sure you get in writing exactly what they will and will not do, because clearly their definition of "setup" is not what any reasonable customer would expect. Save your money and your time--this was an absolute waste of both.

Went next-door to Pc Richards and spent over $8500 ended up getting a ring and two mattresses surround sound receiver. Call Best Buy to install. And they set up a scheduled date. I said that's fine as long as it's after 2 PM because I work. It said your appointments from 7 AM to 12 PM tried to work with management to reschedule and they couldn't set up a time. Spending over an hour on the phone. Asked for a manager to call me back never got a call back. Best Buy takes your money upfront before installation I also asked for that money to be returned to my account. Canceling my total Connect and anything to do with this store.

I never write reviews unless it's something special great or brutally awful. Please read this because it's important. My computer yesterday 7/20/2022 in the late afternoon crashed and gave me the blue screen of death and could not boot after that. I immediately called Dell support for my Dell and was on the phone with someone for 3 hours. It got me absolutely nowhere and they actually refunded me because they were completely useless. I needed my computer today for work badly and had no alternatives but to buy a new computer if need be. I decided instead of Dell support again to try somewhere local, maybe someone would be around to help. I called 2 other places, got voicemails despite saying that they were open and then I called John and he answered and was amazing in helping me. As we went through, we were able to determine the hard drive was basically shot. John at that point could have said to me that he will look at it sometime tomorrow but I stressed that I had my first call today at 11 and needed it. I got the computer to him, he replaced the hard drive with something 100x better, upgraded my windows and dropped it back off to me at 9pm last night because he wanted to ensure I could restore my apps and get ready for work today. To say this gentleman went out of his way to help me in my time of need is an understatement. Please do not go anywhere else. This guy is here to truly help people and I encourage you to give him your business. Everything is running great and even better than before read more

Yesterday I brought my Gateway laptop in to be repaired and I knew exactly what I needed (a new motherboard) I just told them what happened. I plugged it in an heard a tiny little pop and it never turned on again. I had no power and I even brought a new battery and charger for it & it still didn't work. So the girl working there, I can't remember her name takes my laptop in the back room for about 10 minutes. When she comes back out with my laptop she says I need a new motherboard which would be about $250.00 Then she opens up my laptop and says " And see look there (pointing at my laptop) you have a damaged screen. I was SHOCKED, because I KNOW that my screen was NOT damaged before I brought it there. Which I told her. She then replied well maybe it happened in your car. My laptop was in a case beside me and it did Not happen on a 5 min my car drive from my house to this store. I would advise anyone to take pictures of your item you need fixed before you let them take it in the Back Room where you can't see what they are actually doing. Needless to say, I did NOT get my laptop fixed there,but came out with more problems than I started with. read more

I cannot say enough about John and this company. After installing Windows update, had a multiple blue screens. John came to my house and found out that my hard drive needed to be replaced. I got the computer back promptly and for a fair dollar amount. He also fixed my speakers when he returned the computer. They hadn't been working for a couple of years and charged me nothing. John came to our home on Sunday afternoon to fix the computer. He was very professional, friendly, and knowledgeable about the troubles and the solutions. My husband went to Best to get the items needed and John installed it and retrieved all the data. He made sure a new antivirus system was installed properly before he left. This firm went above and beyond and trying to help someone whose iPhone wasn't working. Without any compensation, they worked with me over the phone and got my iPhone to start up again after a fall.
