I had just come from a lengthy orthopedic rehab stay and found my friend has disconnected all the cables (front and rear) from my desktop, printer, monitor, speakers and webcam. I am still in a wheelchair and I would have taken days to figure it out. I called Rob and Pete, and Kevin told me he thought he could come over that afternoon to set up my computer properly. He arrived on time, and he could not had been nicer. He set up computer in record time, and now everything works! Kevin was a real lifesaver and he was a pleasure to deal with. Rob & Pete's computers are not trustworthy. They installed a SSD hard drive to my laptop that was working fine...after installation my laptop froze intermittently. I brought the computer back several times. He didn't replace the SSD. After 30 days, I went somewhere else and bought another SSD. During installation, he also lost data that was not replaced. read more

When the screen of my laptop split on the right side and I was unable to close it, I started calling computer repair places. After several phone calls of places which did not have convenient hours ,or wanted to keep my computer for days. I contacted R & P who were very helpful in quickly ordering a broken hinge and repairing my laptop in record time. Their services are reasonably priced ( check out the online coupon ) and they were very conscientious in returning my computer as soon as possible. They destroyed my data! I was getting virus-type popups which they diagnosed as adware. Pete recommended cleaning out the entire computer and we agreed they would save the data. They saved one user (me) and did not save the other user (my partner) even though I showed them we had two users. He lost all his photos and music. To make it even worse we had had a fire a few years ago so we have no way to recreate this stuff. They were very apologetic and did not charge me but sorry doesn't do it if you claim to be a professional. read more

With my butterfingers, I've already dropped and cracked my phone and my laptop screen this year.. ugh. I took them both to Rob & Pete (recommended to me by a friend) and could not have been more satisfied with the service. Turn-around for the repairs was really quick: only an hour for my phone. 2 days for my laptop because they had to order the right screen, but they kept me posted on the status throughout. Pete, the owner, took a lot of time to explain everything to me and gave me some great tips for preserving my computer. You could tell he really knows what he is talking about and really cares about his customers. The prices were better than I've seen elsewhere (much more reasonable than Best Buy's Geeks who are completely clueless). They also had lots of cool tech gadgets and really nice computers for cheap. I walked out with a computer bag, 2 phone cases, and wireless headphones. Hopefully no more cracked screens for me but for anyone else with my kind of clumsy luck, I definitely recommend this place. read more
