This time, it didn't work; in fact, the Doctor administering the epidural, hit a nerve. I left with more pain in my left leg than i previously had. Made an appointment with the institute to see what my next step would be. I was told that it could be 1, 2 or maybe 3 weeks to wait to and see if the epidural had been effective. We were actually asked to stay in our car which (while surgery took place) was right outside nearby and convenient for us. They have plenty of parking outside which is always a plus. We were the first to arrive at 6:30 a.m. but I did notice a few other cars pull up afterwards. We had a great experience from when we arrived at 6:30 am until he was discharged around 10:30 am. Also, they do require that you have your covid vaccine and proof if you want to come in with the patient. I came in to fill out the rest of the paperwork and also when he was discharged.
