I have had SF insurance for over 15 years, unfortunately I had…read moreto move to SC for several months and the agency I had been using did not cover Myrtle Beach, so I needed to change agencies. Out of convenience, I chose this office because it was close to my new home. What a mistake. It's not that I wouldn't recommend State Farm Insurance, I do, just don't use this agency. Their administrative staff are not only, not competent, but they lied to cover up their mistake and it cost me $75 with the State of South Carolina. They assured me when I signed on with their agency that they would take care of transferring my account information, including my direct withdrawal for my plan and not only did they not do that, but they did not notify me that my account was "delinquent" for non payment. It wasn't until I received a notice from the State of SC that I was an "uninsured" driver and charged me a fine, but I had to reach out to them to ask them what had happened. Even after I gave them the name of the associate that I spoke to, who assured me she had everything they needed to set up my new account, they said "she never spoke to me" WTF? As with other reviews, once you sign on with them, you can't get a hold of them. Bottom line, don't use them. There are plenty of other SF Agencies in the area. Pick another one.
