Do not deal with John. He sold me fabric & labor to make new cushions based on an older cushion. He never told me the seamstress could not reproduce the cushions with snaps. Instead the cushions were made with Velcro and did not fit the chair. The staff and provider tried to find a solution but ultimately gave up. They gave me new fabric & refunded the labor. Now I have to find someone to take apart the cushions to reuse the foam, John called & was belligerent. They are going out of business in Charlotte. Too bad. They had some nice fabric but not a nice manager. read more

Made a 2-hour trip to visit this store for fabric, which is largely due to most chain stores like Joannes having closed, and was excited to finally have fabric options again. After the 2-hour drive, arrived to find paper signs on their windows stating they were closed all day for inventory. What a large waste of time and money, traveling for a total of 4-hours, all because they couldn't update their maps hours to reflect that. I even met someone in the parking lot too who was from South Carolina that suffered the same problem. Be careful of what their online resources state as they very well may be inaccurate. read more

This place is great! It's pretty big and can be a bit overwhelming. The warehouse is organized by color sections, so it helps you focus. The sales people can point you in the direction of a color that you're looking for. There are different textures, patterns and shades in that color section. They have indoor and outdoor upholstery fabric. They also have fabric for drapes and pillows and some trim patterns in stock. The prices can vary from $12.99/yd to $29.99/yd. They do have a few brands that they don't keep in their stock in the warehouse that they will have to order for you. In the rear of the store is the clearance section. Red ticket fabrics are a certain percentage off and Green ticket fabrics are another certain percentage off. Not sure how something will look in your home or on your furniture? No problem. Many of the in stock fabrics have swatches pinned to them that you can take with you. Some of the fabrics that have to be ordered have a permanent swatch that you can only take a picture of. But I recommend that you take lots and lots of pics anyway. If you have a piece of furniture and you're not sure how many yards you may need, they have you covered as well. They have a guide that shows different types of furniture and recommend yardage to reupholster that piece of furniture. And if you end up getting too much fabric, there's an all sales final policy, but you can always use it to make throw pillows. If you're looking for an upholsterer, they have a section in the front of the store that houses information for local upholsterers. read more

What a great fabulous store! I've noticed this fabric store from the highway for several months but haven't had the chance to stop by. Today I did looking for velvet fabric, though the fabric was much more expensive for what I was looking for I must say it was beautiful fabric. It was true velvet for 29.99 a yard. The store is set up warehouse style so there LD fabric all throughout. They have everything displayed by color which helps if you know the color you're wanting to use. It a little harder if you are looking for a specific fabric style. But the awesome ladies are more than happy to help as needed. Even more helpful they have available swatches pinned on each fabric spindle. Grab the ones you're debating about and take them home to pay with. This was so helpful for me today as I'm still undecided about which fabric and the thickness I need for my project. I highly recommend this location to everyone! It's sorta hard to find I much be honest about that. Be sure to pay attention to the small foam signs they have that will direct you towards the store. Enjoy! read more

Be very careful before purchasing anything here! I recently bought 31 yards of fabric that turned out to be damaged. Significant portions of the fabric were discolored and ultimately unusable. Even noticed a burn mark on the edge of the fabric! The company is quite satisfied with hiding behind their no return policy. I contacted them to request a replacement of my fabric or a refund and while they seemed to be willing to help initially; they soon became unresponsive. I waited months before finally making such a large purchase - unfortunately finding a substitute will be close to impossible. read more

Not transparent by any means. At the checkout counter, there is a sign that says that fabric is not returnable after it has been cut. Great, got it. However, I bought foam that day (not cut at all) and thought, "If this foam is not what I need for my project, I'll just return it." I was wrong. Came back a few days later to return and was told that it wasn't returnable. Nobody told me that when I bought it and nobody told me that ALL sales are final. Foam is expensive and I spent a lot of money for something that I do not need. So, please fix this - if someone is a first-time customer, like I was (it was also my last time), say that their purchase is not returnable. I would not have bought the foam if I knew that, because it was one of those things I got that I wasn't sure I needed 100% and bought it to have just in case I did need it. They didn't even try to fix it, just said, 'no'. I was also told to look at the receipt AFTER the fact that I bought it for me to know that all sales are final. Very unprofessional and dishonest. read more
