Super cute yarn shop in the charlotte area! My mother in law indulged my desire for fun yarns and took me to a few yarn shops while visiting for Christmas! Stash Charlotte has a great selection of yarn, knitting/crochet needles, and other knitting and crochet supplies! The cashier was very friendly and easy to talk to as well. The yarn prices ranged from low teens to low 30s which is pretty standard for a local yarn store. Overall, a great spot! read more

Absolutely amazing shop! I purchased a Janome machine from here. The owner is extremely knowledgeable about the machines. I was able to test the exact machine before purchasing which made my decision to purchase so much easier! They have a lovely assortment of fabrics, yarn, and many Janome parts and accessories as well. She offers many classes that I hope to attend as well. It's worth the trip! read more

Lovely store! I don't knit or crochet, but I have family members who do. I will certainly purchase some yarn here for gifts! I sew clothing for myself, and I've bought some fabric here. I do wish they had a wider selection of apparel fabric, and hopefully they will add more to their inventory with other fabric stores in Charlotte closing down. The fabric was a bit pricey, but lovely all the same. I LOVE that they sell Liberty Tana Lawn, but I haven't been brave enough to splurge on that yet. One day! read more

Disappointed in the service I received when I had an issue. I selected four fabrics that I thought were all in the space price range (~$12/yd). Turns out one of them was $36/yd. The lady cutting them looked up at me and said "Oh gosh this one's $36 did you know that?" I said no and that I didn't want it, to which she told me I had to buy it since she cut it. I had just told this sales woman that I don't have a job and I'm hand making Christmas presents. I don't need to spend $18 on half a yard of fabric, no matter how pretty it is. I was alone in the store, first time ever buying fabric, and felt pressured not to make a fuss. When I told my mom, she couldn't believe they got away with this against a clear inexperienced customer. Anyways, I could have looked at the price but the way they handled it when I wasn't okay with what happened was extremely disappointing and I won't support their store in the future. read more

Went to this place when I was in Charlotte for the weekend. This place is really cool. I little hard to find - it's in the back of a strip mall - and I went in the wrong door. They have a small area for classes and that's the door I ended up going through. Overall a very nice shop. The staff were friendly but not pushy and they have a great selection of yarns and accessories. Very well organized, which is nice when you are browsing. read more

Nice little shop. They have chairs to sit and knit when you first walk in. Selection is smaller, but all of the weights and fibers are represented. Carries some Plymouth, Noro, Universal, Rowan and others. You can probably find something to knit from here. read more

Great shop, not all of their employees are the friendliest, but the owner Patty and her mom Nancy are fantastic. Sometimes open knitting can get a bit crowded so if you go, get there early. And while they don't always have enough to do a sweater or a large project on hand, if you ask they can order it for you in the color that you need. read more

I've been knitting since I was five, and I went into the dog sweater business. Any sweater $5. I had a lot of Chihuahua's for clients, so I did pretty well. That is, until a Great Dane showed up for the same price. I've been knitting off and on since then, but always the same pattern. I was driving around while on break and saw the store. I just recently got into crocheting and those inside were very helpful. The store has beautifully crocheted and knitted items spread around the display area near different types of yarn.
