Even though I arrived a bit late and missed the food service. I still had a fantastic time. I ended up grabbing a virgin mojito and a bag of chips. The mojito was perfectly balanced--not too sweet, which is hard to find! The vibe here is awesome. There was a live band with a lead singer who had a beautiful voice, and the pub's decor really brings the whole atmosphere together. Although we didn't eat, only drank, the atmosphere is rocking. There was a live band that was incredibly good. The live music drew us in and we didn't want to leave as they were playing all the hits from USA. First time trying Becherovka Lemond, not available in the states. So, after a rather disappointing meal at a rather disappointing restaurant (which will remain unamed) it was time for a beer. Well, I certainly was going to get one of these in an Irish pub, though I though Chezia was as far away from Ireland as you could possibly get, in the metaphorical term that is (because in the literal sense, I believe that would be New Zealand). Mind you, I'm not a particularly big fan of Irish Pubs, but I do know one thing and that is that I can get a decent beer there, and this was the case with this one. Visited this place during my trip to prague and checked it out almost every night. They have live music some nights and it gets really packed. After 11 or midnight, when the kitchen is closed they serve limited snacks like chips or pretzels. The staff is really friendly, they kind of knew us after a couple nights. I've been to Ireland - this place fits right in! I was very surprised to find an Irish Pub just next door to Charles Bridge, and such a well appointed one at that! The large bar boasts many choices, and even has an espresso machine to round out the space. There is a "hidden" upstairs dining area that surrounds the lower level, though the spiral staircase may discourage a few if you're looking to have more than one round. Get the Fish and Chips and a Guinness if you're homesick for "Trad Food" back in Eire, it was good! The two fish fillets were huge, complete with chips and gravy, and the professional waitstaff didn't hesitate to bring me another proper pint. They also brought malt vinegar to the table without asking, which was a nice touch. I should also add that the washroom was clean, free, and modern. Sláinte! read more

This place is very nice located in Prague and many tourists are passning by, but we always managed to get a table (so yes, we went there many times). The food is average and the prices is ok. But what I like about this place is the really great, fast and professional service. The atmosphere is really good too and we went there every other night of the week we spent in Prague. It was really good for sports events because of the tv screens, and every night at 23.00 there was live music. We also tried classic irish breakfast wich was good. read more

There used to be a time when no matter what city I was in - I'd hit up an authentic Irish pub as a changeup. In Prague, I'll make an exception. It is packed and loud, and I'd frankly rather be in a pils bar than in an Irish bar with a cover band and singalong to Sweet Caroline. There is always good atmosphere here, good bands, fun. That also means it is usually full here, but also because it is on the main street, that goes from the Charles's bridge to the Old Town Square. Pub has two floors, service is friendly and can end up dancing too :) Guinness 0,25 l costs 69 CZK, big one costs 109 CZK, that could b a more relaxed price though ;) I haven't tried their dishes yet. I will be very careful when I order my drinks. I ordered a double shot Jin and tonic. It didn't taste like it had even one shot off Jin. I have had double shot gin and tonic many times before. When I asked the bar tender he claimed he did pour couple. I said I would like another shot he said he I would have to pay for a third shot which I did it kind paying at all! He was complete rude with me for calling him out. On top of it he wouldn't hand me the extra shot till I paid for it. My husband had already ordered a bunch of drinks before and we had a table over there. This restaurant clearly needs a new bar tender! read more

This is a fun pub. Good beer at decent prices. The food was quick and well prepared. The service was attentive and friendly (which is a nice find in this city). But, best of all, the nightly live music was festive and very entertaining. I'd love to have this pub on the corner in my neighborhood. Great little hang out spot. read more

This was my first time in Prague and at the Irish Times Bar. I can't wait to go back. It was such a fun night listening to the music and talking to the bartenders and other tourists. Situated in one of the touristy street of Prague this pub is an average Irish bar with pricing fairly expensive for the city. You can get Irish beers such as Guinness, McKenney, and some others as well as the classic Czech beers. Fair enough that the Irish ones are expensive cause they are imported but the local ones were among the most expensive I've seen here 89kc! I understand than you go to Irish bars to get your fix of Irish beers but still, otherwise the atmosphere is relatively normal with nothing really sticking out. The TVs were all showing issues and the quality wasn't great to watch the game. If you are in need for a fix of Guinness then thus place might do the trick but there are other Irish bar in town, one just next door to it and with a much genuine feeling than this one. read more

This review is for drinks/nightlife only. After roaming around Prague we stopped in here after devouring some chimney cakes. We loved the atmosphere, there was live music that was loud enough to hear but wasn't overpowering enough that you couldn't hear your conversation.
