We enjoyed making apple crisp in the first of a series of classes focused on the ABC's which included preparing and mixing ingredients, sampling different kinds of apples and charting individual taste preferences, using crayons to draw their favorite apple on a copy of the recipe to take home and finally story time with a book that tied into the theme while waiting for the apple crisp to bake. The children were all kindly asked to wash their hands prior to handling any ingredients and were kept incredibly safe with activities designed to keep them away from the oven and used kid friendly kitchen tools in preparation of ingredients. Our class happened at the start of a snow storm so only about 14-16 out of 20 people came which helped create a more intimate setting.

We were looking for a taco truck to serve our 35-40 guests, and Alex delivered. Whereas other food trucks were quoting us $50-60 per person (or more!), Lawless made us a very attractive quote, with lots of customization options. We coordinated with Alex six months out, paid a small deposit, and then paid the balance a week before the event. On the day of the party, the Lawless Food Truck parked in the driveway at our parents' house in Falmouth. Our guests went up and ordered from three types of meats and three types of Mexican dishes (tacos, burritos, quesadillas, and bowls). There was also chips and salsa, beans, guacamole, and a selection of hot sauces for our guests to choose from. The food was delicious, and everyone enjoyed their meals and the fun of having a taco truck show up at our house. I know Lawless Food Truck does a number of local events each month, and their menu is much wider than just Mexican food, you can do all sorts of cuisines. The price was very right, there were no hidden fees and Alex even tried to decline gratuity (I wouldn't allow that).
