Mom and Pop's spot! Love the owners, they are sooo friendly and so hospitable. Forgot the old age of the store, we came for the delicious food. The food is amazing, tastes like Lola's homemade food. We had the pork adobo, sinagang and dinuguan and of course with rice. Delicious!!! We were passing through from Miami headed home to Atlanta, and looked up Filipino food in Jax, and come to find that there are sooo many Filipino restaurants in Jax. So jealous!!! My husband loves this place and it's one of his go tos for Filipino food! We went on a Saturday and the place is small but pretty quaint and wholesome. The staff were so friendly and greeted us with huge smiles! One critique I had was that it was a bit steamy and hot inside. The doors were all opened while there's AC in the store (doors were open to help with the kitchen heat most likely). There were fans blowing around but it was pretty toasty with the Florida weather. I could tolerate it but others may find it outputting. It's a pick and choose type of place and we had the following: Pancit noodles - 7/10: it was good but needed some extra calamansi juice. I love they provide the juice in a bottle nearby. The flavors were there but maybe I'm used to my husband grandma's pancit, that it was just okay to me. I love the portion sizes and the fresh carrots added a sweetness to the noodles! There were crisp and crunchy! Pork Adobo and Sisig 2 meat combo w/rice - 9/10: husband had two meats and garlic rice (common in Filipino dishes) and we both agreed how tasty it was! Sisig is usually served on a sizzling platter but they didn't do that way here. However, the sisig was tangy, a little spicy, and rich in flavors. I exclaimed "wow" as I tried it! Sisig is typically made with pork belly and the fatty was of the pork made the dish so juicy and divine. The pork adobe was just as good, tender, and braised deliciously well! The garlic rice paired well with both meats! I was honestly sad at the last bite! The store was a little chaotic inside with lots of different ingredients, sauces, candy, chips, drinks for sale but honestly, it took me back to when I was visiting the stores in Vietnam. I found myself smiling and looking at everything. Will be back for sure to try more things but I hope it won't be as hot next time! Definitely try out this place!!! This place has the best lumpias and some good pancit noodles. The lumpias are made fresh to order and I believe they also sell them frozen for you to make at home! I need to do that next time, because when I got home to share with my husband and son I was craving MORE. This place is a whole in the wall place to eat at for a quick bite and go. They also had some things you could buy like sauces and other Filipino goodies. The owner was so sweet and welcoming and made you feel like you were the only one there. It's like a home away from home and I enjoyed what I got. It's a turo turo place so if there's a specific meal that's not on display and you ask for it, they will go out of their way to make it in the kitchen for you. I also needed to bring food for a potluck of 10 people and they were able to make a large portion for me. The service was great and the people were very polite. Binagoongan needs to put more bagoong I didn't taste the bagoong at all, and make it tender. Meat was very hard. Asado- is like adobo no taste of sweetness and meat was hard as well. Menudo- make your sauce a little thicker it's very soupy. Meat was very dry. read more

I love some filipino foods especially the dished my bride prepares but not normally the foods that you find at restaurants. I waited a few days to make sure I was not just trying to do the little place a favor with a good review and I am not. I thought was an excellent place for lunch. The food was not overly seasoned or oily and I found it delicious. The owners/workers were very friendly. Also something you do not usually find in a small place like this is diversity of clientele but on this day there were four different ethnic groups and you could tell they were regulars, this in itself says a lot about the little place. The food rates 3 stars but the restaurant is filthy. The lumpia varies in quality and sometimes tastes as if it's been cooked in dirty oil. The Adobo is good as is the pancit and dinuguan. I've been told several times by the staff that putting Adobo sauce over the rice is not the correct way to eat it. It cracks me up that they have the stones to tell a customer that they are wrong. I would continue to frequent the place if they would clean it. It really is dirty. read more

I called ahead of time to have fresh lumpia out of the deep fryer. Came to pick up my order and the owner got them out of the buffet. I again asked him are they fresh because that's why I called ahead to make sure they were fresh and he said yes. I got back to work to eat them and they were cold and anything but fresh. very disappointed. especially since I am pregnant and dont play about my food. Decided to stop by after seeing it while i was driving by on my break from work. Its all precooked food on a tray system kinda like at the mall. The guy serving me was very helpful as i never ate filipino food before. I got rice, pork adobo, lumpia and a can drink. Total was around 8 bucks. Food tasted really good. I'll be back. read more
