My wife and I cannot recommend the JLC team highly enough -- they are absolutely fantastic! Jackie, Libby and Crystal are great people who were easy to work with and who made the home-selling experience much less stressful and much more successful than it could have been. We couldn't have asked for anything more from our realtors. We are especially grateful for all the work JLC did in coordinating the repair and renovation of our house before sale. Basically, once we cleared out everything we wanted to take, the JLC team took over and did the rest. While we lived elsewhere, they found charities to take many of our items, handled all the interactions with them, and then found a hauling company to take everything else, which they personally oversaw at the house. Meanwhile, they identified cost-effective areas needing repair or improvement, designed a variety of renovations, found contractors to handle all the work, purchased many items, went to the house, when necessary, to oversee the work, and basically handled everything. JLC calls itself a full service firm and they mean it. Jackie, Libby and Crystal do their jobs with great enthusiasm and are always going the extra mile. Jackie is an interior design expert who came up with a variety of creative ways to improve the look of the house and make it much more marketable. Libby knows Capitol Hill real estate inside and out, and calmly and patiently guided us through the home-selling process, especially the marketing and negotiations that led to the sale. And Crystal is an incredible organizer and jack-of-all-trades who was always available to answer questions and provide assistance, and made sure that every detail was handled properly. I was emphatically referred to the JLC Team by a friend of mine who also used them to buy their first condo and, after going through the entire home buying process with them, I can see why I was so strongly referred. As a first time homebuyer, I really needed all of the handholding I could get in navigating the stressful process of buying my first condo, especially in such a tough housing market. The JLC team is AMAZING! They represented us as buyer's agents to purchase a home on Capitol Hill, and they were awesome to work with, super helpful at every step of the process, and just all around great people to work with.
