I Do Believe In Miracles It was over 4 weeks ago, life seem grim for my 79 yr old mother. She has experienced a devastating lost of her grandson and almost instantly became imoble. Multiple Dr appointments at Kaiser and a ton of pain medication had her in a wheel chair or walking cane a best. Watching her in pain from day to day was unbearable. I wanted her to be back to her busy self, but there was nothing I or the doctors were able to do. I began googling options for her and came across "The Joint" in Brentwood. They offered a walk in service and were 10 mins from Kaiser where I had an earlier appointment with her. When we arrived we were greeted by Dr Jessica Anaya and staff. Mom was on her walking cane at the time. After completing the enrollment paperwork, Dr Anaya didn't waste any time, and began her adjustment therapy. It's been 3 weeks and mom has full mobility and is very happy with the services provided. I feel so blessed and thank God I found "The Joint" in Brentwood. My Experience in the Joint chiropractor is A joke they do not know how address the real issue or treat the Sciatica pain issue. There is a Confusion in their Promotional contract or Subscriptions. it's Say the minimum is two months but they continue charging the existing months. The practice appears to operate like a typical high-volume chiropractic clinic, emphasizing frequent return visits over comprehensive care. This stands in stark contrast to other clinics I've visited, where despite their full schedules, practitioners focus on sustainable, long-term solutions through a combination of targeted adjustments, daily stretching routines, and recommended physical activities. Upon returning to my regular chiropractor, I experienced immediate relief following the adjustment. Since then, I've committed to a more proactive approach to back health, incorporating regular exercise and daily stretching routines to maintain proper spinal alignment and overall fitness. Given my experience, I cannot recommend The Joint Chiropractic at this time and will continue with my current healthcare provider. 2.5 stars rounded to 3. This place is a joke. DO NOT get a membership here. They don't take appointments so it takes forever to be seen. When you call to cancel, they require you to 'come in,' as they have a form you need to fill out. Which is weird seeing as how ALL the forms I filled out when I first went in, were sent to my phone to do electronically. read more

I have been coming here for a little over a month and have noticed a big difference in my overall lower and upper back pain. I have noticed that I have little to no back pain at all. Dr. Natalie and Dr. Jessica are truly wonderful and have really gained my overall trust, and that's a big deal to me, because I have trust issues when it comes to medical personnel. They both are very professional, knowledgeable, and care about their patients. The only slight complaint I have is that they don't take appointments and I wasn't a huge fan of that when I started coming in. But after reworking my schedule it has been wonderful. I like the fact I don't have to make an appointment, and that I can call in to see how busy they are and I can make the call from there weather to come in or try for another day. I understand going to the chiropractor is not a one-and-done kind of fix for your body. I now go once a week and it has been perfect for my needs and scheduling. read more

I came at 6:40pm on a Monday. Got turned away because the lady said they closed at 7 and they only had 1 doctor and to come back tomorrow instead since there's 3-4 people ahead of me. Like really?? My chiro adjustment only takes 3-5 min max! This is not the first time I came close to 7pm but they always accommodate me. And mind you I only had that day off from work and drove 30 minutes just to get an adjustment. Well seems that they dont care so I canceled my subscription right there and then!! read more

This place was just so disappointing. They are walk in only, no appointments and it's very unpredictable. It was rare to actually go in and out. You never know how long the wait is going to be. The lobby has 6 chairs and fills up quick. The longest I waited was 1 hour before I said screw it, and left without being seen. Canceled my subscription after. Did try to at least use the last visits I had but just left after waiting in an uncomfortably crowded lobby after waiting 20 minutes. You also never know who your going to see. They have different chiropractors, some better than others but rarely do they take the time. read more

First time going to a chiropractor, i was very nervous and kinda scared but once i got there my scared feelings went away. i forgot the doctors name but she was helpful and explained the process to me. i went in due to middle back stiffness/ tightness and pain and shoulder pain. right now i feel good a little sore (which is normal) but i feel better than i did when i went into the shop. will try again forsure for better result now that i am no longer afraid of adjustments :) read more

I was referred here by a friend. It's a walk in place you can't make an appointment that's the only down side. This place is in a shopping center so if there's a long wait you can go to other places within the shopping center. The receptionist was very helpful and friendly I think her name was niomi. The chiropractor dr Anaya was very welcoming and helpful. She literally gave me instant relief. She literally cracked every bone in my back. During these times it is definitely needed and highly recommend this place. read more

I was a member of the Joint in Brentwood/Antioch for over 5 years. The access to care really decreased over my time, including a very sharp drop off in the last 2 years. The main problem seems to be a lack of doctors combined with a focus on bringing in new patients. There is simply not enough capacity to service both existing patients and triage new patients. I think this is particular to this specific location because the other locations I visited during my work travels are much better at managing the patients. In the last 3 months or so I would come in and see a long wait, and the usual solution would be to come in another day. My breaking point occurred when I tried to get in twice during my last week prior to canceling only to wait 45 minutes each time and still not see a doctor. I had to leave both times because I had work responsibilities. I have tried to come in at different times or days in the past but the same problem persists. The only available hours coincide with my work schedule (no early morning or evening availability at this location). I have to be accountable for my time and I cannot spend infinite time in the waiting room. Combine all of this with a bad traffic location with poor parking and the frustration compounds. read more

I felt uneasy at this location. Your appointment isn't personable like it is at a professional chiropractors office. I was talking about my personal information on my health with people sitting in the chairs at the head of the adjustment tables. I have back problems and adjustments don't really help and I guess I should have got that idea from the beginning since they don't do xrays. This place is great if you just need adjustments. I was expecting to see how my condition worsened. Again this place is perfect to realign your back on a regular bases. But if you actually have serious issues you need to see a real chiropractor that will properly asses you and give you the treatment plan you need or refer you to an orthopedic if needed. Initial experience - they set me up with an appointment to be seen as a new patient. When I got there I was told I would have to wait 30-45 minutes before I would be seen because they are on a walk in system and I will be seen once all those who walked in before me are seen. I asked why then would they schedule me for an appointment if I'm not going to be seen at that time? "Because I'm a new patient". What a waste of time and poor business practice to mislead someone into thinking they had an appointment. I'm so happy someone recommended to go to the Joint Chiropractic. I have suffered shoulder pain for the last two years(diagnosed with Myofascia pain) I have done several and different treatments including chiropractic services and lidocaine trigger points shots but nothing has really helped. I had my first session about a week ago with Dr Anaya and it was amazing!! for the first time my shoulders were so relaxed and the pain diminished, for two days I didn't have to use my Theracane. I just went a second time and I immediately felt the difference. My shoulders are happy. Of course I signed up for the monthly plan which I think it is worth the price and I have high hopes that maybe this place will really help me to finally have pain-free shoulders I read some negative reviews about waiting time and so far I can't complaint. The first time it took me about 20 min because all the paper work I needed to fill and this second time I was in and out in less than 10 min. read more

I like the fact that they were able to accommodate a walk-in patient is an absolute plus in my book. I have been suffering from lower back pain and have been calling numerous chiropractors around by were not able to accommodate me immediately. My wife mentioned to me The Joint so we went there and hoped they would help a walk-in. And they did! Dr. Anaya was very helpful and she did alleviate my back pains. Dr. Anaya is AMAZING!!! She's been caring for myself and my partner for almost 2 years now. We original started at pinole with Dr. Limon who is also AMAZING!!! So we've been very fortunate with the joint chiropractic. Dr. Anaya is more like family to us and is always addresses any of our concerns and performs magic because she always resolves our pain issues. Horrible experience. I was told if I signed up they would be quick in and out visits 15-20 minutes. I am blind and it is a struggle for me to get there. But I am in a lot of pain so I tried hoping that this was a real chiropractor.. but here I am worh. no rekief.. I feel like this company cares nothing for their clients. 2 days in a row I went there after having to to beg rides just to get there. Day one their voice message said they were open, but they were closed for labor day and day 2 the employee at the counter said it was over an hour wait and there is nothing I can do about it I have to pay at least two months whether they let me use it or not. Wow. I feel like bait and switch. Are these even real doctors? I want my money back since I can't use the services. Dr. Anaya is so awesome! My lower back got stiff because of carrying my baby all the time, hence hindering me from working out and doing simple tasks such as bending to pick up something from the floor. I just walked in her office, filled out paperwork and got my spine adjusted after talking to her for 10 minutes. I don't know how to say this without exaggerating, but I felt INSTANT RELIEF! After the 2nd session, I felt so good, I wanna smile to all the people on my way to parking lot. I'm a believer in chiropratic care. It's a necessity together with good nutrition and exercise. Everyone, and I say, everyone should get this care. No drugs side effects plus boost in your immune system. I love it!! Also, it's very affordable. Dr. Jessica Anaya, D.C. by far has helped my back out over the years and is the best adjuster so it's sad I have to give this place one star. She's only available during the week and I'm unable to see her which is understandable but the place is constantly closed on weekends because they can't find anyone. Finally I go in after 11 where I almost turned around because the sign was off. When I entered I was told they found a full time adjuster which was great news but he was busy. I come back 3 hours later and now he's gone. He returned after break to "adjust " me and it was worthless. I asked the front desk rep how much to come in for a one day pass which is 29.99 and that if I cancel I wouldn't get my 69.99 rate. In all this place isn't accommodating and the price keep going up even when no one is there. I'll never return unless I know Dr. Anaya is in. Sad because they started off great. read more

As you can see they have plenty of good reviews. It is hard for a business to be consistent when the business does good work and the community knows it. Cracks appear. At this place that's not the case. I don't know what's going on at this specific joint location but everyone was very helpful, well educated, friendly, and had the time of day for me. It was my first visit this Saturday and I was unsure of it walking in at first glance. It looked like a hair salon inside a mall, with the open adjustment area and small waiting room. I was greeted by a kind receptionist who had an answer for every question. Dr Natalie took her time diagnosing my issue and gave me instant relief with an adjustment. Most people would have rushed thru the exam; but she took her time and made the exam feel important. So many doctors just rush you in and out and on to the next. Not this group. I've been coming to The Joint for several years now and the convenience of getting a chiropractic adjustment on a walk-in basis suits me perfectly. There is never longer than a 15 minute wait. (On a rare occasion when there is a new patient, it may take half an hour until it's time for your turn.) I try to make it in every week to see Dr. Anaya, who keeps my neck, shoulders and hips correctly aligned and pain free. Dr. Anaya uses an activator tool and does manual adjustment techniques. I find her to be very accommodating of my needs and easy to work with. The Joint is not a full service chiropractic office and does not take appointments, but with their low cost monthly fee plans, which includes 4 visits a month, it is easily my choice for my chiropractic office! read more

I've been having horrible back pains the last couple months, my wife finally convinced me to go see a chiropractor for the first time. I saw Dr.Moses, he was very helpful and knowledgable. I felt like a new man when I walked out of there.
