Dr. Kristen is amazing!! My first pregnancy in 2021 resulted in a c-section due to my daughter being breech. I always wondered if I saw a chiropractor, could I have avoided a c section. Fast forward, I got pregnant with my 2nd baby and in my second trimester started my search for a trusted chiropractor who knew the Webster method. That's when I found Dr. Kristen! Going into my first appointment, this baby was breech. After seeing Dr. Kristen 1-2 times a week, baby flipped!! I am convinced she flipped this baby. I cannot thank her enough!!! First off let me start by saying I was skeptical about chiropractors. I was suffering from neck and sciatica pain for months. My daughter was taking Brazilian Jiu Jitsu next door to Oakley Chiropractic and this place had already been recommended by a coworker. Disclaimer: My coworker isn't the brightest but I decided to take his advice and give them a shot. I filled out the new patient paperwork online and showed up for my first appointment. First impression: The place smelled great and was super clean. Office staff was very friendly and greeted me upon entry. They placed me in a room at my appointment time and went over some questions and then applied heat while I waited for Dr. Kristin. When Dr. Kristin came in she made me feel comfortable and did a preliminary exam and explained what she was going to do and made sure I was okay with it. She adjusted my neck and back and told me I'd be a bit sore but to not worry. I scheduled a follow-up. That night I was a little sore. Next day, well I can best describe how I felt as "loose." After my second appointment I walked out feeling like a new man. Neck pain gone and my sciatica pain had gone from about a 7 to around a 3. Bottom line, Oakley Chiropractic, Dr. Kristin and her staff are great. I highly recommend Oakley Chiropractic. read more

I've had a massive headache that turned into a migraine for the past two days. I could not get it to go away no matter what I did. I knew I had to pop in and see Doctor K. I wasn't able to sleep through the night, constantly tossing and turning due to the pain. After yesterday's neck adjustment, I could feel the difference in just minutes. I passed out early last night and didn't wake up once! I know I need to see her again soon to stay on the right track but I know that it's easy to pop in when I can. Yesterday she was closing a bit earlier and I walked in 10 minutes before closing but let me tell you, Dr. K never turns anyone away. She truly cares that you're in pain and if there's a way she can help, she's going to make time and give it her all. Yes the office gets busy but to me that just says everyone knows where to come to get the care they need! Tell me what other doctors office can you just walk into same day and be seen? Or that you don't have a wait time? Because when you have the answer to that let me know and I'll break up with my primary doctor who takes weeks to have an opening and is running an hour late half the time. read more

After much consideration and prayer, I have decided to update my previous review. Why go from 1 star to five? Because the staff deserve it. Originally, I wrote my review out of pain and frustration. the next day I regretted writing what I did. You see, I don't want to bad talk a person as an individual. Even though I don't care for Doctor Kristen's technique, she is a person. She is a human being who truly cares, but like all humans she gets busy sometimes. Her heart and soul is to help people, not harm them. I realize that I could have osteoporosis going on and need to have a bone density test done before claiming it's all her fault. And no, she didn't threaten me or put me up to this. Maybe I should have done more to speak up about how I felt. I did speak to the doctor in person to let her know that I am going to find another clinic. I wanted to leave on good terms. I'm not angry with her and I wish no I'll will toward anyone in that office. They have all been sweet. Are they busy? Yes. Will you have to wait a while for the doctor to see you? Yes. But you may find that this is the perfect place for you. You may find that the environment and care are a perfect fit. I wish you and everyone in this clinic the best. While it wasn't the right fit for me and my family, they are all fabulous human beings who DO want to help people feel their best. Had a random, major headache, nausea and muscle tension in my neck and right shoulder for over a week and a half. After trying various meds, without success, I went in to get a thorough massage with Kim, who was amazing! Although I've suspected I've had fibromyalgia for a few years (never formally diagnosed, just treated for symptoms), and I know firm massage can be uncomfortable at first, Kim worked very persistently but comfortably to break up all the tension knots I had throughout my neck, back and shoulders. She did a phenomenal job. After finishing with Kim, Dr. Kristin Mattingly saw me right away and examined me. She expertly pinpointed where my neck and spine were out of alignment, and had me adjusted in no time. And she has always done so with great caring and compassion. I left feeling marked improvement! Although I have a little surface muscle tenderness this evening, it's NOTHING like the throbbing, shooting pain I had before my visit. Dr. Mattingly said she'll touch base with Kim to formulate a treatment plan and timeline to return to ensure I get the best results from treatment. And Katie, the receptionist, was equally kind and accommodating. I love Dr Kristen and her staff so much! We're in the middle of an insurance switch but I think no matter what provider we end up with, i'll be back. I was on a 2 week schedule and Dr Kristen was able to manage the numbness in my arms that I was experiencing from a bulging disk in my neck. I have been going here off and on for two years. I was sceptical about chiropractors, but my doctor referred me when I injured my neck. So I gave it a shot, and never looked back. I returned to work within three weeks and felt great. I recently re injured myself. And the Doctor has taken great care of me. It's a very calming atmosphere and everyone is very friendly. As far as I can tell it's an all female staff. With the exception of a masseuse. I never have to wait around to be seen, and they will fit me in if I need a quick adjustment. I had on going issues in my neck, so bad that I would wind up in a neck brace a couple times a year, unable to move my neck at all or hold up my own head; It was horribly painful!!! These issues have stopped since I started coming into this office regularly AND if I am having a bad day where I am starting to get pain they will take me as a walk in or fit me into their schedule so I can get the care I need BEFORE it progresses into a bad situation. The staff is very friendly and family oriented! They make you feel as though you are an extension of the family! The practice is very community oriented and participates in local events, which I think is great. They also do drawings/contests for free gifts all the time and have coloring contests for the kids which is cool. They have massage therapists on site. What a great chiropractor. I have been to more than a few and I have been seeing Dr.Mike at Oakley chiropractic for years now, and feel great after a visit to him. I have had serious lower back problems for years and he keeps me feeling good. I used to need adjustments a couple times a month but since he started adjusting my lower back, middle back and neck, I only need it a couple times a year - Good for me but bad for his business, but that's one of the things I like best about this guy is that his goal is to keep me out of the office and feeling good. I have to update my review that I posted about 5 years ago. I have now been a patient of Dr. Kristin for that long and visit for maintenance or when I "tweak" my back with poor posture, my heavy purse or sleeping in a bad position. Long story short, last week I tweaked my mid back so badly I could barely move my head and the pain wrapped around my ribs and down my right arm. I was out of town so could not go see Dr Kristin....got back in town late yesterday and this morning it was worse than ever...I just came back from my visit to Dr. Kristin and I can move my neck, breathe easily and have no more pain wrapped around my ribs or down my arm!!
