Dr. Adrian was very knowledgeable and provided very detailed explanations of treatment. His adjustments provided immediate results as I presented with neck pain. Went there because they had a new patient special and I needed immediate adjustment when my regular chiropractor couldn't get me in. I felt better after the first adjustment by the main chiropractor located in Chapel Hill. Bought a 2 month package because of the convenience of location to my work but with total plans of going back to my regular chiropractor. Quickly realized that this place is just a take your money and move onto to the next person. After a few appointments with the main male chiropractor, I had two appointments with two separate female "chiropractors" that I had never seen before that resulted in zero relief. They pushed on my back like doing fake CPR while the table made its loud drop/clicking noise and said I'm done. It was then I knew this was not a quality place for chiropractic services. I submitted paperwork to cancel my plan shortly after learning I was pregnant. The company requires that you submit a hard copy of the paperwork in person at the location the you originally signed up at, which I did. They failed to file the paperwork and continued to charge me for the monthly plan. I did not notice the charges for a few months. When I noticed the mistake, I reached out to the company. They are refusing to refund me and said that I should have noticed the charges on my bank statement earlier. I have asked to have the manager of the practice reach out and was told that he's too busy to speak with me. I'm incredibly disappointed with my experience. read more

Worst experience in my life went first time every for any chiropractor and the lady signed me up for a 3 month deal I only went the first time it was relief the first time then right after felt the pain again it's like the table they put you in does all the popping and clicking noise to make it think they are cracking adjusting you. Cindy upsells me and after I tried to cancel my membership they make it so hard to cancel like they want to take your money I told them I moved states as well and I don't need the services since Jan 2024 they barely sent me the cancel form thru email last week and I sent it in last week and see that they are still trying to charge me. I called and spoke to Samantha. She is the absolutely worst customer service worker I've ever talked to in my life. She was not helpful very rude and very snappy. She said that they couldn't cancel my membership because I had a past due balance, which I've never went since I went the first time in December and try to cancel it in January which they still took my money in February and they still don't want to cancel because of a past due balance, which I never even used went or need they just want to take your money they don't want to give you the manager they don't want to give you the customer service phone number. The first time I went in to the join in Chapel Hill, NC I was in agony with my SI joint. Im a 4 time cancer survivor and I have never had to fill out so much paperwork. The tablet they gave me to use was faulty but I was able to keep my composure and went back in to see Dr Adrian who doesnt have much of a bedside manner but he adjusted the area well andI left feeling better as he recommended I go on their wellness plan. The second time I went to see him it was like he had no recollection of who I was and then got annoyed that I hadnt come in sooner ( I work two jobs and have a disabled son at home). It made me feel intimidated to share what was going on because he was so crude. Then my dad went in to see him and Dr Adrian was terribly rude saying to my father that this was not a spa and that they dont do soft tissue and they dont spend more than 5 minutes on a patient. My father got up and walked out. The last time I was there I told him I had knocked "it" out of place again ( I am seeing him for my sacrum misalignment) and in an annoyed voice said "knocked what out?!" When I left the office ironically I was hit by a car and I decided right then I would not be going back to Dr Adrian who Im sure would show no compassion or empathy. I've worked in so many sectors from food and bev, retail, healthcare, call center, sales, education in the US & abroad, animal shelters, small business owner now--a lot of experience that has shaped me into the person I am today. ***I know the difference between a true soul & a fake smile 'I am just here for the money' employee.***She sat down with me explained everything so clearly but not just business wise, she was able to make a human to human connection too which is nearly impossible to find these days. --ESPECIALLY in this generation. Without distracting her from other clients, we would talk in-between & she was giving me advice/helping me get acquainted to the area. Going anywhere, I used to set the bar high for quality customer-focused care. Why? Because I give my all in every field I've ever been in. That's my nature. Dr.Hudak is the only Dr. there who is educated, explains what he is doing as he does it, answers questions, will help you identify certain internal symptoms that are affecting your human body. -Second visit, forgot who I was 70%. --Third time, had no idea who I was. What? How? My chiropractor of years with probably over 100 patients in practice for 40+ years knew everyone by name, their life history, never had to remind him of ailments, and completely gentle & kind. 2. Dr. Adrian should not have a license. He made my pain 150 times worse and the other Dr. I had didn't even introduce himself. They couldn't get you on and off the table faster. Couldn't even look at my chart!!! Just asked what do you need? DOCTORS look at charts. That's why they exist. Patient history, no? The Joint is like the Planet Fitness of chiropractic care. Sucker you in with deals & make you feel special to get subpar care. Less then. Lastly, I ONLY signed the contract because of Sidney and her manipulative, snarky tactics my gut told me otherwise but I ignored it because she is a master at her craft. I called ahead and let them know my brother had just ended his life and I was going to be there 10 minutes before they closed. I have seizures and fell to the ground many times. I need an emergency adjustment. I called and she said. " Oh. Sorry to hear that. If you're here 5 minutes before closing time we can't let you in, so hurry." Okay. That's compassion if I've ever heard it. This review was meant to be finished back in March but with COVID, mourning the loss of my brother, and losing my housing - I was not able to submit it. If you want cheap care, poor management, customer service, and subpar Dr.'s -- sign the contract. Do your research and use Groupon to find quality. Let me start by saying I have never written a bad review before but my experience warrants one. I have been going to chiropractors for years and know my body pretty well. This was hands the worst doctor I have ever seen. The doctor treated me like I was clueless and was belittling more than once. After being contacted by someone at the Joint after a bad experience, swearing that's not what they are about, they convinced me to give this different location another chance. I stand by my other reviews. You get what you pay for. I work in the healthcare field and have gone to other chiropractors. I did let them know at this new location that I talked with someone and they said this office was better. The chiropractor didn't care. He was very apathetic, and again with the judgemental attitude that I wasn't coming in regularly. Seems that it is all they care about, is coming in regularly, and not taking in your concerns as a client on a patient by patient basis. Definitely a different practice and attitude versus an actual Chiropractor office. There is a medical term called OVER TREATING, and that is definitely what you will get at any Joint practice. I was skeptical about this approach to chiropractic, but I have really been pleased. I have a chiropractor who I have seen for years and really like. I only initially came to The Joint because scheduling an appointment at my regular spot was sometimes too complicated. Dr. Steve has done a great job of working me through a painful situation and I am feeling great now. I have really appreciated the freedom of just showing up for an appointment at my convenience. This flexibility has allowed me to take better care of my back since I am able to access chiropractor care more easily. Additionally, I like their approach of making the care affordable enough that there is no need to involve insurance. The only iffy part about the set-up for me is that the treatment area is open...much like at the orthodontist's office. I understand the benefit of this set-up and I appreciate that it allows them to move clients through more efficiently. But it's honestly still weird to me to have people sitting right there as I'm getting adjusted. read more

My back went out the day before Christmas as we were traveling from West Tennessee to Virginia (13+ hr drive) so I spent the holiday sore since we were away from home. On the drive back, I was still in pain from sitting while traveling. It's Friday and nothing was open in TN until Monday and they all are chiropractic offices that require a consult, then x-rays, then you get treated! My husband found The Joint in Chapel Hill NC, a walk in chiropractic clinic!! We drove about 40 miles, off our route home to go there, but it was completely worth it!!. The visit was quick, easy and the adjustment heavenly! I literally hobbled in, barely able to get out of the car and up the curb and walked out pain free and able to get into the car without much assistance. I would recommend Dr. Adrian Laros to anyone locally or traveling thru who need fast expert treatment in a convenient manner. I wish I had one closer to home! read more
