I would give a higher rating but there are a few things that need improvement. For example when I come to see my chiropractor I expect to be her focus at the moment while she's doing adjustments, almost every visit, I'm not sure if she's talking to me or the other chiropractor, then the really loud music, and they're talking to each other over it. I don't like the fact that it's a big open room. I hadn't had chiropractic services in over 20 years and I was used to having a little bit more privacy and having my providers full attention. I still have a months worth of services left but don't plan on coming back. read more

Called before going in was charged going explained that pain was related to an accident. Representative @ front asked questions when I arrived explained it was accident related... doctor took me to the back... asked me a couple questions and then said this is a personal injury we don't do that here... charged me $29 for NOTHING!!! While I was there a lady called to cancel her membership and a man came in to cancel his! Don't even walk to this place... crawl away... you will do better going to an Asian massage parlor!!!! @ Alyssa: I explained my situation @ length both, on the phone and in person to your intake coordinator...yet I was charged $29 for consult because your "doctor" asked what I did in healthcare and said this was PI?!? Suzette, at the front desk was sweet, personable and had awesome customer service. Dr. Whittaker went above and beyond diagnosing me to the point of explaining past injuries and why certain things hurt. I've never had the details and the time he took with me from another professional. I will tell all of my family and friends about the great quality of this business. I saw Dr. Andrews today she was amazing lots of advice very aggressive very strong hands!

First off, I am a loyal client of The Joint Chiropractic. I frequent the heights location and I'm a fan now of the Spring Cypress location. Unfortunately, I came to the Louetta location 10 minutes before they closed at 7pm and the lady in the front that I called said she would take me in if I came in 10 before and if no one else came in because they had one person waiting already. When I arrived no one else came in and she turned me away and said to have a great day and be safe. WOW!!! I obviously came in because I'm in pain and need to be treated which is usually 5 minutes tops for a reset. Don't go to this Joint Chiropractic location because they don't care about your health and care about getting out as quickly as possible. Mind you it's a Tuesday and I doubt the front office lady is close to getting overtime. I will never go to this location again. I suggest everyone to go to The Joint at Spring Cypress where they will take care of you better. The only reason this location got 2 stars was because I'm a fan of other locations. read more

I previously was seeing Dr Smith at another Joint location however she sadly took a job opportunity elsewhere so I was looking for another chiro I could trust with my pregnancy. I read a review about Dr Andrews at this location and decided to give her a try. So happy I did! She took all the time she needed with me, analyzed my body very thoroughly and adjusted me everywhere I needed adjusting! She knows what she's doing and I left feeling great. Definitely recommend her! Not every chiropractor at the joint really knows what they're doing when it comes to prenatal adjustments but believe you're safe and very well taken care of in Dr Andrews care. I'll be seeing her for the rest of my pregnancy and after birth as well! read more

I went in yesterday to request a cancellation form, they asked if everything was ok and if my treatment was working. I responded that everything was fine - which it was I have no complaints on the treatment, but that I needed need the membership and wasn't using it. I was handed the form and and I said thank you I'll take it with me to read and bring it back tomorrow, that was when they informed me that I had to sign it there and then because the form was their property and couldn't leave the building, I was astounded and was speechless for a few seconds I repeated I'm sorry I want to read over it so I will bring it back tomorrow. The receptionist at this point was almost shouting ' it can not leave the building, it is our property, at that I took the paper and left saying that's ridiculous I will bring it back tomorrow. I was walking to my car when I was almost knocked over by the receptionist who had run after me and dived across my body to snatch the form from my hand, if that had been the other way around she would have accused me of assault. I immediately told her " do not touch me" she began screaming it our form you can not take it read it it states so, after a few other verbal back and Forths I managed to get in my car, she was still apoplectic so I just told her to sue me and drive off. When I got home and read the form nowhere does it state it is the property of the joint it even states I can mail it in. I will be visiting them again today and want to meet with the owner - this was an appalling customer service failure of epic proportions. So this evening I went in and dropped off the cancelation forms including one for my wife, I was told that they couldn't accept them as they had to be signed it front of them. At this Point I put them on the counter and advised that I couldn't care less but as far as I was concerned they had been delivered and that I wanted a face to face with the owner who wasn't in at that time. Within 60 minutes I received a call from the manager who apologized profusely. We had a discussion and without going into the whole conversation they accepted our cancelations and acknowledged it was handled incorrectly. We parted on good terms and I want to thank them for taking my comments and experience seriously. read more

COVID CAUTIOUS yes. I normally visit a location in the Heights, but today I decided to come here bc it was close to an appointment I have on this side of town. I had slipped on the stairs this morning so I was most definitely due for a check in. I saw Dr. Orange, if I got her name right from the receptionist. Dr. O was welcoming. She assessed me and even asked if it was okay if she looked at the bruise on my back from the slip. She was cautious while treating me. She took a good amount of time to make sure I was comfortable and applied some bio freeze to help me. I really enjoyed her. I would have given a 5 star but the receptionist was my only problem so 4 is an accurate representation of how I feel. She didn't even call me by name when sending me back. She only asked if I was waiting on anyone specific AFTER she already directed me back. Just lack of properly checking in and greeting a customer. I understand she was doing things at the desk with another client or whatever it was I was patiently waiting. I would have patiently waited as long as she needed and it wasn't busy so idk what the rush was on her part. Other than that I'm satisfied with my visit and will probably stop by here if I am on this side of town. read more

Dr. Barrington is fantastic. Suffered severe whiplash and he nurse me back to help. More than just spinal adjustments. They do excellent soft tissue work. For a membership price of $50 a month for 4 adjustments you just can't beat the value. Dr. Andrews is now the clinic director. She is simply outstanding. I've been dealing with them regarding my cancellation for the entire year and now it's mid-august. Their whole concept is alright for people with minor aches and pains that arise occasionally but if you're someone with chronic back pains like myself then this isn't the place for you. I joined thinking it would help and it only helped a few days after treatment when I first started going, a few months in and my back pain stayed the same if not worse after treatment. I decided to cancel and it was already difficult going with my busy work schedule and COVID and the fact that I have a infant at home, so why pay for a service that doesn't work and I'm not even using? I signed the paperwork for my cancellation in December of 2020! Here is where I realized they're a big scam. They continued to charge my card and I called them every couple of weeks reminding them and asking to speak to a ''manager" and no one would ever get back to me, or even still has. They're like those gyms that want to keep charging you even though you've done everything that you're supposed to in order to cancel your membership. They're obviously money hungry and don't care for their clients since they have such policies set in the first place. You know you have a faulty product when you are resistant to letting your customers cancel. I would not recommend them to anyone. You are better off finding a good massage place or going to a surgeon if you have healthcare. Don't waste your time, money and mental health at this scam of a company. I am still waiting for a refund for the months of January - August. Let's see if I get it back! Will update you guys for sure of their response! read more

I have been to his place a few times now in regards to pain I have been feeling. I have fibromyalgia and I like to minimize pain as much as possible. I came here because I have been to a chiropractor once before and their adjustment helped relieve a lot of pain. I did some review research on the place before making my initial appointment for an assessment. Upon arrival, the place seemed very relaxing and clean. The receptionist, Angel, was more than happy to discuss any details about the business with me. I saw Dr. Robert C. Fritz Dc fairly quickly after I finished my paperwork and he took the time to talk about what I had been experiencing before inspecting me. He examined my spine thoroughly before deciding on the adjustments needed. The pain relief for my condition was almost immediate. I went from being extremely worn down from my pain to mostly limber and functional. I suspect this was a result of not having seen a chiropractor in a while and needing a major adjustment. I imagine the results will vary depending on your condition. I have been back for follow up appointments to get my spine into a better alignment and looseness. I signed up for the subscription which was 49.95 per month for a minimum of 6 months. This provides for 4 visits per month at no additional cost and any visits over 4 within a monthly period is $12 per visit. If you have additional family members that are signing up, they move you to a family plan that is 49.95 per month for the first member and $10 off per month for each consecutive member (2nd pays 39.95, 3rd pays 29.95, etc) until you reach $19.95 per month. If you refer others, you can earn free visits as well but I do not know that this will always be the case. They do not take insurance from what I have seen because they are generally cheaper than the copay from your insurance. I suspect this is due to the fact that they primarily focus on chiropractic adjustments and do not include additional services that most other practices include like massage therapy, homeopathic treatments, etc. I was skeptical at first due to the history of the chiropractic practice in general but this has made a huge improvement in my daily struggles with my fibromyalgia pain. Out the places I researched, this place seems to be pretty on the level for what they charge. NOTE: I read the review for Sam V. and it appears that his experience was tainted by his lack of proper communication. It sounds like there was breakdown in the communication and he simply couldn't be bothered to manage the information regarding his appointment in the first place. Maybe next time he will write the information down and be much clearer when he communicates with someone. read more

This would have been a 5 star... but they recently let their best chiropractor go... shame. Dr Andrews was the best, I tried other locations and other chiropractors but she was top notch. Sad to see her go. Otherwise the business is ok, but there is a difference in the quality of work with each doctor, I've had some that barely do something and others that are quick but detailed. Its a hit and miss kind of place, I suggest that once you find a good chiropractor, always come back and see that person every visit. They had a great grand opening event. My chiro, Walter, was great. It was my first time seeing a chiropractor and he took the time to explain to me the service and what he will be doing. He did pre and post work with me, and I also didn't feel rushed considering there was a line of people waiting for an adjustment. All of the staff was friendly and had a smile on their faces, offered me water and gave me there undivided attention despite the fact it was very full with people. Upon walking in I was not greeted and just looked at me waiting for me to ask questions. No hello, no how can I help you, no can u wait for the receptionist... nothing! The guy doctor seemed very dry when I asked him about pricing. Given the fact perhaps he didn't need to answer them and could've just told me to wait for the receptionist. The receptionist didn't seem that helpful either. The lady chiropractor came out and no introduction and I thought she was another receptionist. I went on asking for what kinds of adjustments were offered and I normally get BioCranial adjustments from Dr.Hansen in Elk Grove,CA and the lady chiropractor said and I quote " never heard of it" then started throwing out names of schools in California so that I could search for doctors in Houston that does them. First of all how do you not know of BioCranial adjustments when you google it , it tells you what it is. My mistake for just walking in there and asking a few questions on what they offered. I should've just googled and went straight to someone I knew that would do it for sure. I e been to chiropractors that really educates the patient and how the adjustments work and what is beneficial. This place isn't going to get my time or money. If you just want a regular adjustment with very dry attitudes this is the place to go :) read more

Then when I was laid off before the holidays I called to cancel and see if they could refund me at least for the last month or two not used. Not only did they refuse to show any compassion they also stated I would need to come in to cancel and could not do over the phone or online. This is a scam.
