I love the freedom of being able to stop in when time permits. Sometimes doctor's are temporarily assigned to other locations, which I don't like. Staff are always very friendly. Each doctor seems to have a different technique, so you can learn what works best for you. Dr. Donn is the best fit for me and I highly recommend him. read more

I'm surprised by the negative reviews, which seem to mostly be related to the subscription style billing. I have had great experiences here and use the "as needed" payment option, which has been great for me as I come in when I need a tune up sometimes a few weeks in a row, and sometimes not for months. The doctors have all been great! I have taken my 77 year old father in, and my 7 year old son. I for one am grateful for this location, and just want people to know you have options besides the subscription model. I'd hate for this place to close because it's been wonderful for me and my family. read more

WARNING: Back in September I signed up for the four monthly sessions for $79. I cancelled in October -- filled out the cancellation form and everything. I recently found out that after cancellation The Joint continued to bill my HSA monthly to the tune of around $360. When I called them about this I had to go in and fill in ANOTHER cancellation form and they said they'd "look into refunding" me. After weeks their response was "we don't refund unused sessions," framing my being overcharged as MY fault. They continue to delay, they continue failing to take responsibility and do the right thing and refund me. I'm unemployed senior with crappy insurance, I can't afford a treatment that doesn't work for me -- and I certainly wouldn't have paid for sessions and not go. I told them as much...to deaf profit-focused ears. I ultimately cancelled because their treatment felt like fast food to me -- I'd drive 40 minutes to see a chiropractor and the actual treatment was 5 or 10 minutes -- I'd get bumped around without much explanation, and then I was shown the door without much relief. The Joint hasn't shown any integrity in owning up to their mistake, or doing the right thing and refunding me. Even if it was an honest mistake on either of our parts would trustworthy medical professionals continue to take your cash knowing you weren't taking their treatments?! Obviously my recommendation is you don't seek treatment at The Joint. They've got a ways to go to earn trust. read more

If I could give this specific location 0 starts I would ! I would give them -5 stars The way Marcus "one of the owners " handled our conversation was unbelievable. He was so rude and would not let me finish one sentence before interrupting me saying he couldn't give me a refund. I went in on the 20th spoke to someone else he was very nice and understanding said he would contact corporate and I should see a refund to my account in 10 days well it's been 10 days and I called just asking about the status and got nothing but rudeness from Marcus. I even asked him to let me finish voicing my concerns before he interrupted AGAIN saying there is nothing he can do for me. All they want is quick money so they can make one adjustment which takes 2 min. I can't speak for other locations but the one in Mequon is very unprofessional. I'm sure the Dr that do the adjustments are great and do what they can to help people but as far as Marcus at the front desk you can tell he doesn't care about the patients that come in actually he just won't even listen to you. read more

As soon as signage for The Joint Chiropractic's newest location in Mequon's Pavilion was announced, I was excited. I live in Mequon and the location is perfect. I have been going to The Joint Chiropractic in Brookfield for 8+ months (close to work) and have been extremely pleased. It's a great deal and the Doctors on staff are fantastic. I am good health, in shape, not overweight, workout frequently, eat heathy and clean. I am a huge advocate for Chiropractic care, for I have been going for 25+ years. As soon as I was introduced to Dr Martin, I knew something wasn't right. I told him why I was visiting, my lower back was sore from the previous day's Deadlifts and if he had any questions to please feel free and ask. After a couple of questions and basic tests his initial prognosis was that I had a slipped disc. He stated that I had 3 options: 1.) Go to the hospital and get medication, most likely Opioids for the pain. 2.) Surgery. 3.) Get adjusted by him. The first two options weren't an option (and I don't have a slipped disc). Again, reaffirming my initial gut feeling. He made or I should say attempted an adjustment, nothing moved, then asked me how I felt. I told him he didn't do anything, nothing moved, and I feel the same. He then asked me to stand up and look at him while he took a flashlight and looked at my eyes. Afterwhich, he concluded that I have "severe gut issues" because of a spot that I have on my iris (that I have had since birth and was deemed normal by an Ophthalmologist 2 months prior for my annual checkup). Now I'm really questioning this this guy. We then went back to the table, he made another adjustment... this time something moved (I was glad), he asked me to stand up and immediately asked how I felt. I told him "the same, it's going to take a little bit for my body to adapt to the adjustment". He stated that he needs to know now so that he can determine if he should continue further adjustments. I told him "I'm fine... thanks." (I was done, I don't trust him). He then proceeded to tell me that I should come in every couple of days for follow up adjustments until my back feels better. Before I left, I asked to him substantiate and justify why he, in his professional opinion thinks that I have "severe gut issues". He replies: "Are you asking me or telling me !?!", as if I offended him. I then respond with "asking" his reply (which is insane): "Because I'm a Doctor and I'm trained to know this". Alright... I'm done... Get me out of here. This guy is terrible. I will not allow Dr. Martin to adjust me again nor will I revisit that location. Later that day, I went to The Joint Chiropractic in Brookfield and got adjusted. I should have done this from the beginning. read more

After trying out many different chiropractors, The Joint Chiropractic was the best I've been to. Moving from Arizona, I was scared I wasn't going to find a place that was as good as my chiropractor back home. From the staff to my session, everything felt so easy AND comfortable! I was welcomed and there was minimal waiting time. The entire process felt very tailored to me, which is a huge reason why I will be coming back to this location. I was nervous to go to a new chiropractor after coming to college, but The Joint Chiropractic was AMAZING. Scheduling an appointment was incredibly easy, and the staff was friendly and accommodating when I needed to push back my appointment due to an exam. When I walked in, I was attended to politely and efficiently as usually in doctors offices you have to wait a ridiculously long time. The receptionist was incredibly kind and helpful and took me right to the room. I have been dealing with really bad back pain due to posture issues and over-exercise, but the doctor was able to make me feel so much better. I explained to him what my issues were and he asked about the treatment I had received in the past, which I thought was very important in order to suit my needs the best. He listened to my needs and answered all of my questions. Leaving the office, I felt so much better. I definitely will be going back! read more
