I admit it. I want instant gratification, when and where I want it. I don't want to schedule an appointment and I want to get stuff done on my productive weekends. Enter The Joint. The ManFolk has health issues that cause him regular pain. The Joint offers a membership that allows him weekly visits. I think that the monthly charge is $79? Ask for the military discount! I have occasional issues so I just pay $45 per adjustment. I've been having some pains lately so I will probably upgrade to the membership too. They have discounts if you pay for a six pack up front too. New patients get a $29 initial visit ($19 for those who have served). The doctors rotate and we have been very happy with each one. If you prefer one doc over the other, you can wait for your favorite. It's a clean, modern facility and the staff is nice. I'm a fan! read more

I don't know what is going on here but about a year ago new management (or owners?) took over all of the chiropractors seem to have left all at once or at least in a short time of each other. I had been a client of Dr. Jenkins there for a long time and they treated me like I had never been there before and had to complete all new paperwork. After going through all of that redundant bureaucracy, they said it would be about a 4 hour wait! There were 5 people there and most of the time they spend 15 minutes or less each. Today, I twisted my back and went in again. They told me I had to fill out all new paperwork again and would every 6 months and they really didn't have time to do that before their lunch break which was about a half hour away. I was the only client in the waiting area. I checked with the Arizona Chiropractic board and there is no requirement to take new paperwork every 6 months. They only say chiropractors must maintain current information. Other doctors only ask you if anything has changed and to update if there is new information. As I indicated, there appears to have been a new management change a year or so ago and all new doctors. Now it appears to have happened again...at least I do not recognize any of the names on their website. The last doctor I went to there a few months ago is not listed at all. I don't know if any of the current doctors are any good because I have not been able to "walk-in" (which is their claim to fame) and see one without getting trapped in the red tape and indifference. I just didn't feel heard I guess. I filled out all the paperwork and told them where I was suffering. I couldn't turn my head to the right because I slept at night with my head pressed up against the headboard so I was compressed. I do this every once in a while since I was a kid. I left feeling 20% better from when I walked in. I spent $55. Unless you buy a package they won't fix the problem because they want you coming back. Honestly, if I had a full body chiropractor with both sides treated (not just one side) it would have been a 10/10 experience. Now I have to go find another chiropractor on my next day off and suffer through the work week stiff at my desk. That's why I won't do a payment plan. read more

I have given a lot of business to this location. Dr Jenkins is the best chiropractor I have ever had in my life. he left in May. what a surprise today to experience how awful the place had become. The front office staff was rude and snarky when I mentioned Dr Jenkins. The guy in the front office was especially out of control. I requested a specific chiropractor, he responded with that I have to go through certain procedures. In the past a request was a normal part of the process. They used to be so nice. Not anymore. Perhaps ownership changed. now the vibe is bullying, trying to intimidate. In the end I left. I drive 30 minutes in good faith and got this - not healing that's for sure. Dr Jenkins is the best chiropractor at this location. He gets to know all his patients, he always has a long line waiting just for him.

To start, I am a looooong time chiropractic patient. I go one a week for acute and chronic conditions. In my experienced opinion The Joint is the kind of establishment that gives chiropractors a bad name. It's a chain and a meat market. Open exam and treatment room with other patients and doctors side by side. We're traveling, I needed an adjustment. I explained to the doctor I had back surgery in 2011. As soon as said that, he said he would not touch me, would not adjust me, I was in the wrong place. Again, I go once a week at home for spinal and soft tissue manipulation and told him that more than once. He wouldn't help me. Dr. Savage, thank you, not. Very disappointing and still in discomfort. If you're looking for a chiro, I would advise against The Joint. read more

This is an awful company! They are terrible with customer service. They are pretty much in service to rip people off. I've been trying to get out of my contract for the longest time. I only went 2 times to the joint and they are charging me $75 a month because for some odd reason I have to go to my location that I signed up with in order to cancel in person. I have moved away since then and don't have access to go back, but they will not cancel my account over the phone or by letter so I am currently being charged for absolutely nothing. I even asked if I was able to make it down there, Could I get a refund since I haven't been there and they told me absolutely not. Very happy with the Joint. I typically visit another great place downtown near the UA, but working mostly from home caused me to seek something closer to my house for the time being. The Joint offers competitive pricing for packages/memberships, and that method works perfectly for me, as I visit weekly to help manage some ongoing chronic pain issues. Chiropractic care has made a huge difference for me & the option to do it affordably and frequently here is a great plus. If I need to go more than 4 times in a month, each additional visit is only $10 - (such a great deal). The hours are flexible, there's rarely a wait, and the location practices excellent COVID safety protocols (masking, reduced capacity, sanitizing, and wellness questionnaires). I usually see Dr. Jenkins, but recently got adjusted by Dr. Cox and she was fabulous, too! The nice thing about the Joint is - when I begin to travel again - I can use my membership at any location. Whether you need a single-time visit to address an issue or long-term maintenance care, I'd highly recommend this location of the Joint. read more

After over 10 fairly positive years, I am feeling offended enough to end my membership. I have needed weekly care for many years. Some chiropractors here are excellent, and the management has become chaotic. I was refused service because the office was too busy when I arrived an hour before closing. I was in pain because the doctor who was treating me was out for a week and only there for one day, then going to be away for two more days. My neck adjustment changed recently and only this doctor knew how to treat it. I explained that I live an hour away and felt humiliated to not get assistance when I was practically begging in a small, crowded lobby. I complained to the management and was offered a partial refund of my prepayment. I never got this concession. Instead I got double-billed for 3 weeks after I made a second complaint. Now, the management can't be bothered to correct this or speak to me directly. I suppose I will have to battle through my credit card or some other way to get my money back. I'm posting here to warn others to be wary at this low point. They talk like they care, but their behavior appears to be all about getting your money and they don't mind violating your expectations in the process. DO NOT JOIN this place unless you want to fight like hell to cancel recurring credit card charges. I was treated OK for an injured back, but they suckered me into a long-term plan. OK, fine, not horrible. But life changed and I couldn't use the "membership" as I'd hoped, so I canceled. That has been a three-month wild ride! I called, I emailed, I returned their texts. They all confirmed I was canceled, but then the charges returned. I had my CC reverse the charge in July. Canceled with Joint again. Then they charged my card again in Aug. I've disputed the charge with my bank, again. Then I called the Joint, again. This person said I had to cancel IN PERSON. They make it so hard so they can keep collecting. Since I do not live in Tucson anymore, they *graciously allowed me to send in an email FORM to cancel. I have done so. They better not charge me again next month. Be warned. this is a chain business and they only take walk-ins. Their methods were just a little less than tortuous. They use what's called a "drop table" where they literally dropped your body using step on handles. They also use handheld thumping devices, which are painful. I had about a 20 minute lecture and about three minutes worth of "adjustment" one of one of the workers jerked my neck so bad I screamed out. They did some kind of a yoga pose to adjust me. and when I woke up, my condition was worse. I will not be going back to these people. read more

I was visiting my mom in Tucson from Austin and needed an adjustment desperately due to the horrors bus and airline travel wreak on your neck and lower-back. My mom swears by this location and Dr. Adam's curative touch, so I was sold! One of the things I love about my membership here is I can pop in any location nationwide and get treated, no questions asked! The receptionist here was so nice (btw, check in on Yelp for the first time and get your choice of a free sunshade or tshirt!) and though there was a bit of a wait, it was still under 15mins. Developed msk weakness after a covid infection last October. In between Dr appts, different prescriptions and waiting on PT. I decided to try The Joint Chiropractic. I came in barely able to walk with muscle spasms. The first few adjustments helped so much I decided to sign on for another month. I strongly believe the regular adjustments have facilitated a semblance and return to my quality of life. Will continue to visit them as the business model makes it not only convenient but affordable. First time in my life that I've gone and seen a chiropractor and it has improved my quality of life so much. I've suffered from chronic neck pain for at least ten years and it was debilitating. I'm a fairly active person, I enjoy exercise, and because of chronic tensions headaches, it would keep me from doing what I loved and for me that caused a lot anxiety and depression. Especially if I had to work or be social, instead of being productive and/or enjoying myself I would just suffer silently. I was scared of going to the chiropractor at first but I had friends who encouraged me to come here to The Joint. Everyone here is super friendly and helpful. It's so easy to fit a session into a busy work schedule and you don't even need to have an appointment, you just walk in. When I first started going I went three times a week for adjustments because your spine has to relearn how align correctly. As my body started to heal, I could go longer without an adjustment, now I go once a week and for the first time in a long time I can actually say I live pain free. Highly recommend all the therapists who practice there. I especially like Dr. Kino, he is very gentle. read more

A few months ago a purchased a membership because I was having back pains. I initially went to the one on first ave which is close to me, I asked to be seen, but the receptionist was very snooty and unwelcoming. She told me they were too busy but I could go to the Oracle location. Not her fault they were busy, but she lacked customer service skills. So I drove to the Oracle location. The receptionist there was cleaning a bookshelf when I walked in and would not turn to face me as she spoke to me. I was asking her about being a new patient and she had her back to me and continued to clean! Finally I sharpened my tone of voice and said, "excuse me, what?" because I couldn't hear her and I found it ridiculous. She huffed and came to the computer to check me in and didn't apologize for her rudeness. At that moment, I thought to myself-- both locations have extremely rude receptionists. And it occurred to me to write a review. But I didn't right away because I felt that I should review based on the quality of the actual alignment. I had an alignment done which took about 4 minutes. I was told the o my way of see results is to go regularly, so they sold me on a membership. I've gone a few times but found that the quality of the alignments to be really very low. It felt like the same 6 moves they use on everyone were used on me. There was too much reliance on the chiropractic tables which made big noises, but I didn't really feel like I had much movement. I went a few times in a row consistently but was not feeling that it was worth my time. Now to cancel the membership I have to go back up to the Oracle location instead of the one by my house since the Oracle one is where I signed the forms. Save your money!!! I have back issues, scoliosis bla bla bla. I somehow tweaked my back and had me hit the floor. A friend recommended this place and I saw Dr. Cox and she changed my life. I now have a membership. I even went there and she asked if I had any problem areas and I told her my shoulders, and not kidding you. A few pops and bam, my pain was gone. She is very thorough and nice. Greeted very nicely by Katy the receptionist. They have packages and single visits are $39. Use the Yelp check in offer to save $10! There's initially 6 pages of paperwork and your first visit will be about 30 minutes. But after that should be 10 minutes depending on the wait. Great atmosphere. They even give a key tag so each time you come back they can pull up your name quickly. Very knowledgeable staff and licensed professionals. As a kinda newbie to the world of Chiropractic medicine, I'm so happy that I chose to come here! I came in with a slew of nerve/muscle issues as well as a headache that I got from the last chiropractor I saw. Dr. Molden was very nice and talked to me throughout everything he was doing. The adjustments made me feel so much better. He took what I had going on and knew what we need to do and was motivated to get me back to where I need to be. It was really refreshing and I'm honestly looking forward to coming back in a few days to get a follow up adjustment and go over a work out plan that will work for me while we continue our sessions. I joined the Joint about 2 years ago to help with some running related woes. One of the main reasons I've maintained the membership is because of their locations across the country. I occasionally travel for work and being realigned after a long flight is so helpful in bouncing back. I've been to locations in Colorado, Illinois, North Carolina, and Arizona. I have been receiving chiropractic care for most the past 30 years or so. My issues started early. I have to say, Dr. Jenkins is the most thorough chiropractor I have ever had! I moved here from Illinois, and was scared to try someone new because I had been seeing the same chiro for 14 years. I started going to a place in Oro Valley that I won't name, for a few months, but was sorely disappointed in the methods used, and it wasn't helping me. I decided I had to try someone else, even though switching chiropractors is scary. I was so lucky to stumble across The Joint. There is usually just a short wait, everyone is very friendly, and I hit the jackpot with Dr. Jenkins. The difference in his methods and thoroughness in every adjustment is night and day from what I had received. I can honestly say he is even better than my Illinois chiro, who was very good. My wife and I have seen Dr. Molden for about 2 months now on a regular basis. We both are active Seniors playing sports and exercising regularly, but with frequent pains and minor injuries. He has really helped both of us with acute and chronic type pains and soreness and adjusts his treatment each visit depending on where we are having problems. We never feel rushed and both are overall in much less chronic pain. He also adjusted our friend who had a release in his back for the first time in 10 years after seeing many other doctors. He felt like it was a miracle to finally feel like he wasn't tied in knots in his back. read more
