I went to M Salon because of the good reviews and was a little nervous. I have social anxiety so meeting new people and talking to the same person for over an hour can be a little scary. I had one stylist but after she cut and colored my hair she left M Salon. I asked for a different stylist and ended up with Will. He's cut and colored my hair 3 times now and I refer to him as my stylist as I would never go anywhere else. He makes sure I'm comfortable and gets me excited about my hair. I went from boring brown to vibrant red and have gotten so many compliments. I'm kind of shy and awkward but after he's done, I get a confidence boost. I always recommend him AND M Salon.

I was scheduled there, but had to cancel last minute when something came up. I really, really needed a cut so I tried to walk in at Salon Dolce (since it is on their window), but was told they don't really do walk ins because the ladies there set up their own schedule and that I could come back later in the week when they had an opening. So sitting in the Harp's parking lot, I took to Google and found that the Villa Salon had a good rating. Called and was able to be seen in 5 minute by Sonja. Villa Salon is in the strip mall across the train tracks from the Cabot Meat Market. They've got some vintage decor going on and it kinda looks like they have a runway down the middle with the wood floors leading to the back where the sinks and dryers are. Sonja is so friendly and patient, she listened to what I wanted and took her time cutting my hair, getting rid of all of the dry, split ends and bringing my hair back to life. I brought my youngest two in for a hair cut as well a couple days later and she was able to get my youngest son to sit STILL. That is talent because he is all over the place and we were nervous since it was his first cut ever. One Saturday, I brought my oldest son in to have his hair cut and fixed. We just stopped by without an appointment, and we lucked out because she was available. Sonja showed what needed to grow out in order for his hair to get back on track to get the hair style that he wants. Definitely glad she knows how to cut/fade and saw where his hair needed to be fixed without me trying to explain it! Glad I found Sonja and will be going to her as long as we're stationed out here :)

They are closed on Sunday. As with anyplace that cuts your hair a relationship is important. This place is cozy, warm, and friendly. I now have appointment reminders from the owner, and that is a personal touch I never received from any of the chain locations. I am treated like I am the only person in the business, no matter who is there. Cuts are about $10.00 to $15.00 but I always tip so I am not sure about all the prices for the other services. They do take credit and debit cards. They sell custom jewelry there as well I believe it is all hand made. The shop is typical in the outside appearance for a small business in Beebe, AR. Do not expect chain store beauty graduates, but do expect a friendly smile, and local gossip that is traditional and colloquially focused. The owner has many years or decades of service, and she truly cares that your hair looks and forms the way you like it to be or styled. And men. She does trim the eyebrows and ear hairs and neck. Just like a barber is supposed to do.
