After the most incredible experience of my life, I wanted to share a review to encourage others to give this place a try. Upon arriving, the location was easy to find and absolutely beautiful. We were greeted by Cathy who also happened to be our pilot, and she was very welcoming. We signed some documents, watched a quick video, and then went on to meet Casey. He was our instructor as well as our tandem partner. He is clearly experienced and very knowledgeable on skydiving. Both my cousin and I felt very comfortable with him. He made sure that we were properly harnessed, gave us a quick demonstration on what to do, and we were on our way. The plane ride up was smooth and beautiful. While my nerves were high, Casey made me feel confident and excited to jump. I never questioned if it was a bad idea because he made it so easy to trust the process by putting safety first. The initial jump out of the plane was the single most incredible thing I've ever done in my life. What a wonder it was to literally be able to fly! All your worries go away and you get to just take in the beauty of the moment and see the world from a peaceful perspective. I will never forget this moment for as long as I live. A sky diving adventure has been on my bucket list for a long time. I recently took the plunge (pun intended) and made an on-line reservation with The Jumping Place, a sky diving center and drop zone in nearby Statesboro, Georgia. From start to finish, I was treated with courtesy and respect, and the adventure I was about to embark upon was explained in detail. I was impressed with the emphasis placed on safety, and team members patiently answered all questions. My Tandem Instructor (TI), Casey, has made over 7,000 jumps, and his leadership made me completely at ease and confident in his ability to provide a most enjoyable experience, which he did. Thanks to the professionalism of the entire Jumping Place team, I experienced an epic adventure, one that will provide me with an exhilarating memory for years to come. Great great group of people! Cathy, Casey, Justin, and team were unbelievably awesome. They all have a contagious enthusiasm with the right amount of encouragement, excitement, enthusiasm, and even a little nurturing and timely reassurance when needed. My 18yr old wanted to go on her high school graduation day. Brian (I think?), did a great job with her... I could not have been happier. Safety consciousness, although it should be a given, is first and foremost with the team. Every aspect of the place is just great...instructors, coaches, owners, video work, sales and support staff, pilots, riggers, and their community of current and former students and other sky divers that frequent their drop zone. You will leaving feeling like a part of their family. We can't wait to get back to The Jumping Place. We highly recommend them. Go tandem or start working on your AFF there. I really enjoyed my skydive at The Jumping Place. Dan was my instructor and he made me feel very safe and comfortable at all stages of our "training." When we were in the plane he did a couple interviews on his camera and that made me feel safe the whole time. It was a bit chaotic because they seemed very busy, but the owner is a little older lady and she seems to really love flying and everything she was doing. We got our videos the same day and really have nothing but positive things to say. read more

I am an up jumper from Atlanta that drives past 2 other skydiving centers in order to go to this one. They are always so helpful and friendly! I even got my husband to start jumping out there. He drives 5 hours to get to them and passes by 2 states in order to jump with them! We really appreciate everything that Cathy does and her staff always is as professional as can be. She assists us with anything we need as soon as possible.... We just love her and her staff!!!! read more

Amazing experience. The staff is very friendly and outgoing. They make you feel right at home. And for it being my first jump ever, it helped keep me relaxed. I would and will go back and jump again.
