Love love love coming here, whether I'm just browsing, taking a class, or actually buying…read moresomething. I came here to get my Monstera plant repotted because it got too large for its current pot. They can repot your plant for you, if you bring your own you pay a small fee but it's "free" if you buy a pot from there. Some of the pots (like my own) are pricey however I trusted them more than myself to replant my growing baby. I've taken their DIY Terrarium classes and it's fun. It's a very "this is what it is and where things are have fun" type of vibe. Everything is broken down cost wise on how much each container is and what you can put in them. They have an event calendar to show their classes or themed nights they do every month. The make the terrariums, candles, bonsai layouts, kokedama (moss balls), moss walls, and floral hoops. They're fun, they're interactive, and great for medium-"large" sized groups. It's always nice to have somewhere to go and do something different that you can take home. The staff is always helpful when I need it giving good recommendations, education, and answering my 1042 questions. Will continue going here as long as they're open and I'll continue referring people there to!

You pick your desired vase and get to filling it with stones, dirt, plants and other accent pieces. Of course, you receive great guidance from the amazing staff. They let you know what plants can be selected and how many should be used. Additionally, they have a large variety of plants that you can purchase for very reasonable prices. They also have candle making classes with a variety of candle scents to choose from. I would recommend PlantHouse for all of your plant needs from start to finish. They also have all of the necessary items to start, grow and keep your plants thriving and alive! Or take an amazing class here and bring home a masterpiece! For one, this…read moreplant shop is beyond gorgeous, its really spacious and they have an impressive variety of plants. They seem to always have a great stock of rare plants too, and I don't see that too often. My only complaint, still, is their prices are higher than the average plant shop in my opinion. I would still buy plants from them, LOL. They have great plants! The last plant I bought from them is absolutely thriving and I got it for a pretty good price. This plant store is a great place to shop for a new plant, or have a mini photo shoot lol, or even a fun stroll after date night. It's just really peaceful and beautiful inside. Definitely recommend checking it out if you never have.

Various sizes to choose from. Small ones that allow you to watch the beauty of their growth. And large beauties that nearly touch the ceiling. They also sell books, planters, and other home items. The salesperson was very friendly and helpful. I had some questions about a particular plant and she offered suggestions about watering and proper maintenance. I was only window shopping this time, but happy to know that Paradiso is close by. This would be a great place to gift shop for the plant lover in your life.

Having visited IKEA locations in Ireland and Sweden, I've seen how they take the concept so…read moreseriously over there--it's an entire cultural experience. Here, we tend to treat it more like a giant showroom with free babysitting and a cafeteria, but the value is still hard to beat. I had a great run during my most recent trip. The deals were everywhere! I picked up a summer-weight duvet along with a new cover and shams to refresh the bedroom. I also found a stunning set of gold-toned serving flatware -- they have that sleek, high-end look without the boutique price tag. A few highlights and "hiccups" from this visit: The Food & Drink:I tried the fish balls with mashed potatoes for lunch, and they were actually pretty tasty. I also noticed an older gentleman sitting completely alone, casually drinking glasses of what appeared to be wine. Many IKEA locations with a restaurant license do serve beer and wine, and honestly, he had the right idea. Of course, I couldn't leave without hitting the food market for those specific cookies and foreign candies you just can't find anywhere else. The Atmosphere: At one point, navigating the floor felt a bit like an escape room. While the staff seems nice enough, they aren't exactly eager to help--you really have to run them down to get an answer. The Warehouse:I'm honestly not a fan of the self-service furniture selection policy. The whole warehouse environment is pretty intimidating when you're trying to track down boxes. The Strategy:Since I'm lucky enough to live only 25 minutes away I've realized I need to stop coming here like it's a once-in-a-lifetime pilgrimage. If I visited more often, I probably wouldn't feel the need to drop $200 every time! Overall, it's a solid four-star experience for the unique finds and the reliable "Swedish-lite" atmosphere, even if you have to do some of the heavy lifting yourself.

I was really the next in line for a long time and it took forever and then I couldn't even return the item as they change their policy with out my notice on plants. Also for checking out after purchasing stuff the line was so long and it was very confusing. They didn't have any of the self checkouts open. I finally got to the front of the line and the cashier went away on a break so I had to wait longer. I felt like there's a lot of workers but they were just not on the cashier so it was just a slow process.
