It could be one of two things: I'm African American and I'm a senior citizen! Of course he got the intake staff to call me but she said she couldn't even tell me why he decided to accept my case.

I hired this law firm to handle my child support case, and it was one of the most frustrating…read moreexperiences I've ever had. My attorney, Jessica Horace, repeatedly postponed my trial, resulting in additional fees and months of delays. Throughout the representation, money was withdrawn from my account multiple times without my authorization, which caused significant stress and frustration. Traniqwa Carter, who handled the financial side of my account, was consistently unprofessional and had a negative attitude whenever I spoke with her. Customer service was extremely disappointing. The most concerning issue was that my case was handled for more than seven months despite the fact that I provided my son's birth certificate at the very beginning, clearly showing that the father was not listed. I specifically brought this to the attention of both Jessica and Fernando, who assisted with paperwork. Jessica even sent me an email acknowledging this fact. Then, only three days before my scheduled trial, Jessica informed me that she had not realized the father was not on the birth certificate and that DNA testing would be required. This was shocking because she had already instructed me to complete an Acknowledgment of Paternity (AOP), which ended up being unnecessary. When I reminded her that I had previously provided this information, I forwarded her own email acknowledging it. She apologized and admitted the oversight. As a result, my trial was rescheduled. I had already spent time and money preparing for the original court date, including researching the judge and completing tasks that were my responsibility. After the postponement, more charges were added to my account. Eventually, the firm withdrew from my case, leaving me to represent myself. Had my case been handled properly from the beginning, I believe I would have gone to trial as originally scheduled on April 13, 2026, and I would have continued working with the firm. To date, I have spent more than $9,000 and still have unresolved issues regarding my account. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this firm.

I wish I'd checked here before hiring the Bryan Fagan Law Firm. It was a costly HUGE mistake…read more They've recently had to erase the horrible reviews that were on their website. One has to wonder who wrote the good reviews. The Houston office has at least one very dishonest lawyer, C. Ritter and the paralegal C. Beck was incompetent as well as the "ad Litem attorney" who was supposedly hired by the court. My own lawyer, R. Ohanesian , apparently the only honest person to do his job, got the steps to the probate in a fair amount of time and then filed it in court. However, the supervising attorney, C.Ritter asked the court to appoint an ad Litem lawyer. She was supposed to search for "unknown" heirs to my parents property that was in my deceased parents names. This was after at least 4 people had sent statements they had knowledge of our famiIy unit and the only names in our family. I had been told that my uncontested rights to the property from the 4 heirs, shouldn't take more than 3 or 4 months. So I signed on to pay a $1,000 per month fee for the work to give me the rights to have my name and my brother's name on the 2 houses. But it was truly a stalling game with the ad Litem and the supervising attorney, The ad Litem was "unresponsive" off and on the about 6 months. That's when I should have cut my loses and moved on, but I kept thinking they'd actually get it done. I've even wondered if the ad Litem and the supervising attorney were in it together, to see how long they could continue to charge me for doing nothing. The gall of the ad Litem, who never disclosed to me a thing she accomplished, sent a bill after 5 or 6 months. Mr. R. Ohanesian stated quite a few times before a team meeting: "no change; no charge" which proves the Superviser attorney and ad Litem lawyers were just marking time, to charge me another $1,000 each month. They weren't accomplishing anything and really didn't care. People with no conscience. The billing spreadsheet describing what they did at each meeting stated that around 7 or 8 times how the ad Litem lawyer was not communicating with them. Each of these "team superviser" meetings were charged to me. They were supposed to be once a month but in December and January they had 3 meetings each month. The ad Litem lawyer, from the beginning made it clear she wanted to create another probate from a different sister who had died in 2018 and whose probate had been done in the court in her state with all her property given to her kids. So they requested unreasonable information about her. Her name was not even on the deed for the houses!!! It was clear that little to NOTHING was accomplished and that all those months there were lame statements saying: "case update" and at one point C. Ritter said: "working to "prove up" the heirship of the sister whose name was not even on the deeds. Anyway, I hope and pray that these people get pulled into court for their dishonesty. Dealing with them was like opening a can of worms! Just look at all the people who were treated badly and had their money taken for NO SERVICE. Ashley K. Kenneth O.; Justin S. even said they are crooks. "Do yourself a favor and run". I want some accountability and thousands of my dollars that are still costing me to be RETURNED. I hope all the others who were cheated file in State Bar of Texas Grevence and Ethics, so that no one else will be cheated out of their hard earned money and get nothing in return.
