IN REGARDS TO TONY KALKA, TOP ATTORNEY IN ATLANTA : I interviewed 5 attorneys specializing in personal injury; I did this due to a bad accident 30 years ago was up against State Farm. So, after interviewing the first four- Tony Kalka was the last to call because he was so far from where I lived; but, when I called he politely asked if he could come to my home. That was a plus and on a weekend too. I had a list of questions I had a friend of mine help me with since " the first accident over 30 years ago, I was hurt really bad and it was the other guys fault. But the attorney was young (never pick one out of the yellow pages)! But, I had a concussion at the time, I could not remember one attorney to call, sad since back quite a few were good friends, but that attorney wanted it quick and only settled for $5000.00. That paid my loan off my car, but I lost my 3 jobs I was working and could not afford to go for treatments. That taught me a lesson. So, when this accident happened, literally out of nowhere, a young teenager drunk hit me from behind. I was lucky to be alive because all I could see in my rear view mirror was my trunk behind my head. Fortunately, she came back and ask why my blinker was on, I said it wasn't my blinker but my hazard lights. I was in a small del sol and she was in an old Toyota Truck. After offering me pain pills she saw the damage and ran back to her daddy's old big truck...she had a busted lip and I had asked about the alcohol on her breath, then she quickly backed up and started crying. I am 58 so I was careful not to move and the car was small inside....she was grabbing at all kinds of things to turn blinker off in the beginning then she noticed my cell phone was dead, and I noticed her hide hers in her back pocket. I told her to please stay because both of our vehicles were damaged...mine severely. She walked around my car and then ran to her truck. Luckily she had pulled in front of me and I picked up a pen and paper that was laying inside my purse and quickly wrote down the tag number and her description. It was a dark area of I 85 but clear at 9:30 at night. It took an hour before someone stopped and then a young girl stopped too; and, they called 911. It took an hour before someone came and my head had swollen and was hurting worse, they were so nice to stay till the ambulance came. I kept repeating what happened so I wouldn't pass out and I knew I had to remember. Later, when I found out they had State Farm, I knew how hurt I was...and at my age...I had better have a good attorney. I called several local and they heard the name State Farm and passed. When I went to my Doctor, he gave me a list of attorneys...and he said Tony was the best even though he was further away than the others from where I lived. I was very impressed even feeling as bad as I did as he was calm and professional as he came into my home. I went over the story, by this time I wrote it down in detail then I had my questions which ended at the beginning. There was no sense asking anything else I knew he was the right one. I told him my previous experience and the email I had just sent them regarding this accident...and he said not to worry, he had worked with them and knew what needed to be done and not send anymore emails or even call them - That was his job and he only wanted me to focus on getting well the rest was his job and my case was solid and not to worry. First time I had actually felt at ease and knew I was in excellent hands...I hope and pray I never have another accident but if i do or any of my friends or family... I will insist they use Tony Kalka. Most professional, calm (which was very reassuring since none of the others were) and most of all was concerned over me getting well. And, what impressed me even more was he would email or call me just to ask how I was feeling and how the doctors were treating me and give me an update. NOW, who does that?
