The Karate University is such a great way to teach kids of all ages the appropriate way to conduct themselves in public, but more importantly at home. My granddaughter & grandson have been attending twice a week for just under a year and it has helped them develop a sense of security & confidence during a difficult time in their lives. The instructor, Mr. Nuttall, and all the staff treat these kids like they are their own. I don't even know where to start! Just amazing! From the first day you walk in just to see what's going on to the day you sign up everyone is super friendly! The employees that work here also train here so it helps that they can answer any questions you have on or off the mat! My son joined and after sitting on the bench for three weeks I decided to join with him. We have days we do it together and days we do it apart. It is an amazing program who helps give the children wonderful morals that most have forgotten. The respect and discipline are amazing from the youngest child to the oldest adult. The instructors here are wonderful with the kids. Responsibility, leadership, and accountability for their actions along with learning the martial arts are a huge reason I sign my son up here. We started our oldest son at TKU because it was within walking distance to our house. But we kept him in it (and enrolled our other two sons) because there is simply not a better martial arts training program in the entire state of Texas than TKU. The children's program is excellently structured and the staff are incredible!! My kids look forward to going every week and I have seen it make such a difference in their lives!
