Very bad experience with this place! I paid 1000$ for divorce with agreement. And they told me it's valid for 3 years since I have a concern about my husband schedule. After paid. It's really hard to made appointment with them. I never got their call back as they told me. I finally made an appointment with them and they do give me a phone call. I double checked with them on the phone that I can see the lawyer and finish the paper work as soon as possible with this time's appointment They said yes. Ok! Good! I take one day off go their office. They let me wait 20 min and then came up with a financial manager to meet me to discuss how much more money should I pay. Then they can open my case. They want me pay 500$ more. Then I know they are playing game with me. Why don't you specify on the phone with me about it? Maybe they think my time is worthless. read more

This place is a total scam. Do not engage them if you are looking for legit legal services and not just someone looking to scam your money. Their contract is specifically worded so it's vague enough that you can't get your money back if you don't pass your asylum case. They target the underserved immigrants who are new to the country and do not speak the language. If you want to reason with them in an effort to try to get your money back after an unsuccessful case they will call the police and send you to a hospital for psychiatric evaluations where you will be held for days. When they tell you they will return you money after three months, they lie. After four months of waiting they told in in plain words that they would not return any of our money and that we can sue them all we want. Just because these are lawyers they can easily take advantage of people who don't know better. They use their knowledge for financial gains ONLY. Corrupt Law firm --stay away!! They took over $6,000 for a simple guardianship case and did NOTHING!!! After repeated emails and phone calls after 5 months of waiting, they wanted more fees for court (?) and an amended guardianship contract ?? One part of the contract stated that the attorney Robert Adinolfi would get part of the estate ??? I have never heard of anything so corrupt --it's so crazy I couldn't even make this up. Sketchy Law firm, be aware! I wouldn't recommend this law firm. They cannot be trusted. I am in the process of getting a refund and their management is a total mess, it's very hard to get a hold of a responsible person to process any request. According to Liu (the refund officer), only their boss Lauren Kasen has the power to initiate a refund by writing a check, however their boss is semi-retired so it's going to take at least 2-3 weeks to get processed. This is extremely unfair to your clients, and unprofessional, because what kind of company transfers all the company money to one person's account? RED FLAG! Also when I spoke to attorney David Carton on the phone, he sounded incompetent about my case. I appreciate his honesty about not having have much experience handling criminal cases. But that ruined my trust with Kasen Law firm, because prior to me agreeing to apply the money I paid for bailing my spouse out to attorney fee, they reassured me all the attorney has years of experience, and you guys failed that promise. The refund officer Liu claimed that David is fired for his phone call with me while clearly his picture is still on the website, which is why this firm cannot be trusted. I personally think Liu just bluntly lied to me. They claimed they have experienced attorneys in my area (southern California). In reality, they just randomly assign my case to the inexperienced attorney David. They claimed David has an experienced attorney to back him up in reality there isn't any. Because when I asked who else is available to take the case, they mentioned a name Daniel that's not on their website, Liu explained a lot of attorneys quit during the pandemic so now they don't have anyone. Lol what a joke, basically just contradicting themselves. Even though they claimed that David have another experienced attorney's support, when asked who else can represent my case, they mentioned Daniel, which is not an attorney in their firm. They have to outsource my case to someone else! At this point, the trust is completely ruined, I want nothing but a refund but they are holding onto my money, which is a very sketchy and unprofessional thing to do. I am demanding to get the full $3500 back. I initially paid 3500 for bailing my spouse out, that's base on attorney attorney Fang Liu's false investigation. I reminded her that an police officer has already contacted me and informed me my spouse is in the process of getting out. However, I was confused what that mean so I asked attorney Fang Liu to confirm if he's actually getting out. She made a quick phone call and told me it's impossible that my spouse is getting out without the arreignment or my help. That's why I paid the 3500 fee, but soon after I paid, my spouse got out by hiring his own bail bond agent, so I feel I got scammed into paying. Later Fang Liu convienced me to transfer the 3500 to defend his case, but after my conversation with David, you cannot convience me to spend this 3500 on hiring incompetent attorneys from your firm to defend my case. Kasen was the law firm my wife was working with for the duration of her immigration process, which included an asylum case initially and later a green card. We likely would have gone with another firm for the green card following our marriage, but stuck with them as they already had a working relationship. Their prices are par the course: nothing extraordinarily inexpensive or ultra expensive. We were exceedingly diligent when filling out the paperwork as the make the process easier, and overall, things felt smooth. Where we began hitting hiccups surrounded the closure of the asylum case. My wife, as part of the negotiation to keep them for the green card application, had ensured the closure of another case would be included in the overall price. There was substantial back and forth, and even with a paper trail of evidence that we were to receive this, they continued to say we needed to pay a new fee. My wife is tenacious, upset that the organization would try to take advantage of those who speak English as a second language. Her fortitude paid off, but now the timetable was shifted in a way that would impact further steps. When it came time for the interview, the status of the other case was the sole focus. The firm's mishandling of the closure to try to squeeze more money out of clients resulted in a challenging interview. We passed, and thought the entire process was over but there was an additional interview required. We hadn't received details due to a recent move. The timeframe was extremely tight, and the firm wouldn't even let us see the notice without paying a $200 "copy" fee... for a single piece of paper that they had received, not even prepared. After a tense meeting with the office manager who had a short temper, extremely poor demeanor, and lack of professionalism one would expect from a law firm, he finally relented and we discontinued any further services with them as a result of his behavior. This case was not a difficult one, and what should have been a more standard legal process became a nightmare with many stress-filled nights. There are instances where certain clients are better suited to work with a company, but in this case, I would not wish their brand of incivility upon anyone. read more
