Erin and her crew are great with my dog who has separation anxiety. I have dropped her off twice for one night stays, just to get her used to going there and staying the night. Hopefully one day when I want a real vacation my dog will be acclimated to staying with TKDW. What I love about TKDW is they are flexible with the sleeping arrangements, offering the option of a crate or a free sleeping area where my dog can cuddle with other dogs. Although she sleeps in a crate at home, she does better not confined when in boarding situations. I also love that Erin will usually send me an update sometime during the day, usually just a picture and a few words about how she is doing. read more

We were anxious about leaving our cats alone for a week long trip for the first time, but Erin and Camila did such a great job with them that they were happy and not stressed or upset with us upon our return. They visited twice a day to feed them and play with them, and documented the visits with pictures and cute commentary every day. Erin was very responsive to any concerns we had. I was recommended to Erin by a neighbor in my apartment building. She came to meet us and I immediately saw how genuine she was with us and how sweet she treated my puppy. We have only good things to say about Erin and her team. We rescued a dog around 1.5 years ago. Initially, we tried to use Wag but the app was many times unreliable and we were concerned about all the different walkers that came to our home. After researching other options, we met with Erin and immediately asked her and her team to become Bo's regular dog walker. They are reliable, even at times when we were not. We never had any concern with Bo not being taking care of while we are at work. Their daily status reports and accompanying pictures are always the best part of our day. We constantly share them with friends, despite them probably not wanting to read them or seeing another picture of Bo. Erin has also notified us of any issues or notable differences in Bo's behavior. She also agreed to bring Bo to our wedding. We are lucky to have met Erin and believe that her team made Bo's transition to our home and family much easier. They are so good, we sometimes are jealous that Bo likes each of the walkers as much as his owners :) We are in the process of moving. One of the hardest adjustments and something that makes us sad is that we will no longer be able to use their services. We are crazy dog people and understand how much people love their pets. We never had any reservations about leaving our dog under their care and supervision. I found Erin and her team this past spring after my former sitting company ghosted me (yup... ghosted!). Erin is amazing. during our meet&greet I immediately felt comfortable with her and knew I was leaving my cats in good hands. Even though I informed her they probably wouldn't see 2 of the 3, they were able to get pics, and even a few ear scratches in (my youngest is afraid of his own shadow). I received updates/pictures daily and upon arriving home immediately scheduled my next vacation. There are not enough good words for Erin and the rest of her crew at the Kearny Dog Walker!! We initially found her almost a year ago when we were looking for a boarder for our puppy, and have since used her whenever we need a walker, and we are soo thrilled with her. They provide a thorough update after every walk that includes pictures, and they take great care of our girl. Not only that, but back when we first found Erin, she went out of her way to recommend a good groomer and trainer as we were having a few minor issues with training/confidence and our puppy had just had a terrible grooming experience at PetSmart. Erin Martins neglected my Dog and my Dog Died under Her Care in Her Home she's a heartless Person , never showed any remorse until this Day Erin Martin has never faced Me in Person nor has Ahe explained to Me what happy to my Dog. My Dog was in Perfect Health Condition when I dropped Him off Boarding. Erin Martins proceeded to Medicate my Dog without my consent, she lied about my Dog being sick when I asked she will give Me different stories never call me when I asked Her to call me to discuss taking my Dog yo the Veterinarian. Erin Martins my Dog is Dead because you neglected Him you lied about everything even when he wasn't eating you're a careless Person you don't deserve to take care other Pets . When Erin Martins was reported to the Town Health Department it was discovered Erin Martins never had a License nor was She Registered to perform this Services as She claims in Her Social Media YOURE a Lier deceiving Person . We love Erin and the team at the Kearny Dog Walker and were so lucky to find them when we moved to Newark! We have a pretty busy work schedule, so we have our pups in a regular rotation -- they get walked by TKDW team two days a week and get to go to daycare the other days. The combo makes sure they're well taken care of and get lots of energy out when we can't be with them. It's super easy on us -- Erin or one of her team members picks the pups up and drops them back off again -- and we know Hercules and George love it considering how fast they scramble to the front door when it's time to leave in the morning. TKDW takes such excellent care of them, and have honestly been a life saver. Plus -- they post regular photos and videos if you're into that sort of thing. (We are.) Town inspectors discovered Erin Martins has been running this business illegally despite her social media accounts saying she was legit as of today shes been avoiding Me and I don't have any answers of why or what happened to my beloved Dog . This review is long overdue because of how great of an experience we've had with The Kearny Dog Walker this past year. My girlfriend and I had adopted a highly reactive and high energy dog that we were nervous of meeting new people and new dogs, but since day one, Erin and the folks at the Kearny Dog Walker have proven time and time again that they are the best choice and fit for any dog out there. Not only did Erin agree to meet late on a Monday evening when there were less distractions, but Erin knew exactly how to approach the situation after we had described our dog's anxieties. With the patience of Buddha and the warmest and most nurturing dog voice, our dog M quickly took a liking to Erin and the pack at daycare. Now, when Erin comes to scoop up M for daycare 2x a week, it's all smiles and wagging tails when she hears that door unlock. And then when M is off at daycare, if you're a millennial or just love seeing your dog on social media, Erin will not disappoint. Her content is Grade A-1 steaksauce material and we look forward to seeing "thekearnydogwalker's" IG story light up every day. I think the most understated thing about TDKW is how invested they are in your dog. Like I mentioned earlier, our dog has reactivity issues, but Erin takes it upon herself to text you if she ever notices any wins or positive behavior changes, which is the best type of message to get when you're working on righting those behaviors. It's become as if we all share the same goal of seeing the dogs live their best lives. I couldn't think of a better dog service to take care of M and when we inevitably move - it's going to take some convincing for Erin and TKDW to move with us. You can't go wrong with TKDW!! P.S. Erin and team are FABULOUS! We recently adopted a Boston terrier and Erin and team helped us really get our furchild adjusted to our lifestyles and knowing that a friendly and loving friend would stop by for walks. TKDW is ultra reliable and I have not had one bad experience, all the walkers really love and care for our pup, which I can always tell by their lengthy reports they give after a walk, plus they take great photos on walks. It really is an A+ experience. Our dog also tried Doggy daycare with Erin today and it was a fabulous experience for him to get socialized, also with the team already knowing our dog and his quirks..amazing!! The Kearny Dog Walker is skillfully and lovingly run by Erin Martins. She started walking our two dogs over two years ago when it was just her and maybe one or two other people. I have watched her grow her business over the years, adding pet sitting and daycare options and it has been such a pleasure! All of her walkers are well-trained and trustworthy and we send our pups to her daycare every other Friday. They absolutely love it. Daycare includes complimentary pick up and drop off service which is vital for us full time job dog parents. We have also used Erin's pet sitting services - in her home - while we're on vacation. We are never concerned or worried while our babies are in her care. NEVER. She and her staff are incredibly knowledgeable and caring. In my opinion, this is soooo rare. Plus she's always updating her Instagram feed with pics from the day's walks and daycare, so I feel like I can check in on my pups through out the day. Also -- she uses a great app which allows you to communicate with her and send requests, but also receive alerts on the walker's arrival and completion of the walk --which includes a pic and summary of the visit. Most importantly--Erin is really a pleasure to deal with. I'm sure she receives a deluge of texts and messages on the app but she always responds in a timely, caring fashion and with such a great attitude! You know why? Because she LOVES what she's doing --which is so important for the person taking care of your most precious fur babies. I am very particular about who I allow to care for Maxx. Since relocating to New Jersey, I was having a hard time finding a suitable doggie daycare and/or dog walker, for Maxx, that was close to home. After driving to Jersey City and sometimes Brooklyn for daycare and boarding, I found Erin on Instagram and was then referred to her by my apartment's management company. Let's just say, words can't even begin to express how happy I am that I found Erin! She is the best and her service is 2nd to none. She sends me pics of Maxx (and his new doggie buddies) while they're out on walks and when he's at daycare.
