The consultation lasted about 25 minutes and focused on my situation and possible next steps. During the consultation, I was advised that additional services--such as document collection, document review, and further consultations--would involve separate fees. While I understand that legal services are billed this way, I personally felt uncertain about the overall cost structure moving forward. After the consultation, I attempted to follow up by email regarding next steps and requested a short extension of time to gather documents on my own. I did not receive a response. Over the following weeks, I sent additional follow-up emails, including one confirming I had gathered documents and was open to paying for further assistance if needed. I did not receive a reply to those messages. It has now been several weeks without communication. While others may have different experiences, I would have appreciated clearer follow-up or confirmation on whether my case would be accepted. The attorney was very thorough and made sure all of the documents were in order so we could present them to our financial planner. We'll use Flammia Law again when we need them!
