I definitely will be returning!…read more It is true that half of the food there is turning bad, but don't let that discourage you from going. I got a bunch of food that was useable and really good here! I'm so glad I came because they gave me and my boyfriend meat that we have never had before and it was so delicious when I cooked it! Not everything there is free. The front section is stuff that you pay for. The line isn't as long as social media was trying to make it seem. They also let you take food to share with family, neighbors, and friends. That's extremely kind of them. I don't regret coming here.

I am low income,…read moreand didnt quite have the mandatory $50 to spend but i wanted to pay at least half of that to get fewer items... Going through a rough time today, went by several pantries and food banks. Turns out that Thursday is a popular day to not distribute any food. I was advised to come by here and that the people here are nice and accommodating. I arrived and was immediately assisted by an older woman whom was very kind and sweet, she directed me to a desk area where an annoyed looking younger woman sat, whom looked and sound like she didn't want to be bothered and was trying to get people out of her hair. When it came time to ask i attempt to ask if I can pay "half for less" and she told me its only 50 they dont offer any other help it is what it is and she couldn't direct me anywhere else. She said she can charge per item but I would end up paying more. I was stunned at the lack of dignity I recieved here....from this worker in particular. She was rude up until I didn't want to even try anymore, at that point she told me byyeeeee have a blessed day! I had brought with me paperwork and everything to show I was disabled and in need just to get by for the remainder of the week but I felt super unwelcome.

First 25 minutes of the service is worship music then until the time I had to leave for work which took 15 minutes is pastor asking if anyone is deaf and blind and would like hands on them to pray and heal. Guessing this is a Pentecostal church which isn't my home church denomination (I did go there before). I don't know if he does the message from the Bible which I was told from NIV. I hope to be there again when I'm off at work. My home church is Calvary Chapel Golden Springs BTW.

Here's a draft you can adapt for a Google review. I kept it focused on your personal experience and…read moreclearly distinguished your opinions from factual events. For six years I served at New Life Community Church because I believed the church belongs to Jesus Christ, not to any one pastor or leader. The Bible teaches that Christ is the head of the Church, and every believer should be treated with love, humility, and fairness. One night, Pastor Craig asked me to provide security while the New Life food bank was being built. During that time, I encountered a transient who pulled a knife on me. The police were called, and the incident was officially reported. Instead of receiving support after serving the church, I was later told that I was the liability. As time went on, I began asking respectful questions about financial decisions and leadership choices. Rather than feeling that my concerns were welcomed, I felt they created tension. When I returned on Good Friday, I was asked to leave by a church member named Tiago. That experience was deeply painful after years of faithfully serving. My purpose in sharing this review is not to discourage anyone from seeking God. I believe Jesus Christ loves His people, and the Church ultimately belongs to Him--not to any individual leader. If you decide to visit, I encourage you to seek Christ first, study the Scriptures for yourself, and prayerfully evaluate your own experience. If you'd like to hear more about my personal experience and see additional information, you can visit my TikTok page: @pomona_virus. I sincerely pray for everyone at New Life Community Church and hope the church continues to grow in truth, humility, accountability, and the love of Jesus Christ.
