Our house has a complicated driveway and parking situation which their crew was able to work around seamlessly. Our HOA had its own approval layer on top of the city permit, and Sun Vault Roofing helped us navigate a two-week back-and-forth over approved shingle colors (side salad: ridiculous that HOAs have this kind of bureaucracy). Despite the complications, Sun Vault Roofing kept us updated through every delay and milestone without us having to chase anyone down. That alone was worth the price difference. The crew showed up on time, worked two full days, and left the yard cleaner than they found it. The roof has now been through 2-3 major storms since installation, including the crazy hail in April and there is not a speck of damage. Everything looks sharp and clean. You can tell was done right all the way from the street. If you're getting multiple bids for a roof replacement in the Madison area, make sure Sun Vault Roofing is one of them. Adam quickly isolated the problem to be a short/break between the fuse box and a connector located prior to the fan. When the fan was not connected, the voltage at the fan input was 13.8 V. But when the fan was connected, it dropped down to approximately 3.6 V. He ran a separate wire between the two points which fixed the problem (since the intermediate wiring was not easily accessible). Adam was very personable and easy to work with during this repair. I am definitely going to keep Happy Camper Mobile RV Service on my short list for any future RV repairs!

Their project management is terrible. After a site survey that was basically a joke, I hadn't heard from him for weeks. I finally decided to go with a different company so I told them to put the project on hold. At that time I was told the project hadn't yet been submitted for design. Well the project manager decided to go ahead with the design despite me telling him to stop. Now he refused to refund $1200 for that design that never should have happened. I offered to meet him in the middle and he refused. I have proof of when the design was done vs when I told them to stop so looks like we will be heading to court. If your looking for solar move on. These guys only care about your money.
