Yelp does it again!…read more I wanted a set of quality knives, so I ordered a set of Henkels from Macy's. They ended up having one side serrated and it was causing me to shred instead of slice. I initially looked up Knife Sharpening to see if someone could get rid of all the serration. Matt educated me on the conditions of the knives and told me that all he needed to do was sharpen them and smooth out burrs. I gave him 4 knives + scissors and he was done in about 20min! Not only is Matt very nice and knowledgeable, he's efficient and saved me from throwing away this knife set. I very highly recommend Shear Performance!

I am now an active Author... 77 but still doing projects because I can't get construction out of my system. I know what a good sharp edge is and how important it can be. I lived in the bush of Africa for three years... a good sharp knife being the difference in living or dying. My hole saws were an expensive set that another 'sharpener' had "sharpened" and ruined the cut of them but wouldn't fix them. When I complained, this joker had the nerve to tell me... "That's the way they're supposed to be!" My reply to him was... "Duller than when I brought them to you!?" at which I was invited to leave his shop by his looney-tune counter woman. Even this farm boy from Minnesota isn't stupid enough to buy that bullshytte excuse for not knowing how to do your job... but telling everyone you're a "Sharpening Shop Expert." So, I fought every time I used them. Then I found this guy on the internet living not too far from me. General Sharpening Shop. Sounds good. After giving him the third degree on his competency as an edge sharpener, I took a box full of blades and these hole saws to him. I just used one hole saw to cut a hole for a cord in very delicate laminated and very expensive surface. Holy Snikees!!! It would have been harder to cut a hole through soft butter. I COULD NOT BELIEVE HOW SHARP THESE WERE AND CLEAN CUT THE HOLE WAS!!! I immediately called the guy and left a message of how amazingly sharp these were. This guy isn't your run of the mill person. He was an Air Traffic Controller for years. A BONUS... he's a very likeable person. Taking 40 some knives to him now. HE'S AN EXPERT.
