She omitted in the lease 2 additional deposits that the building's HOA requires, which we found out after we signed the lease. The apartment was handed over in very bad condition, with even a hole in one of the walls. It was also not cleaned properly, with the windows and glass doors extremely dirty. She wasn't even present to hand over the keys and do a proper walkthrough with us. When we contacted her about these issues her response was extremely insolent stating that the apartment came as is, then proceeded to harass us to sign the walkthrough inspection form which she wasn't even present for. They do not train their new agents and do not guide them through transactions. George Canciobello has very BAD ethics as a Broker for such a big Realty Co. I have all the text messages to prove all this. The last thing he did was after my deal closed with the client and the other realtor involved and money orders were done out to Lifestyle International Realty as per his text he then tells me to go to bank and deposit which I have NO CLUE what bank he banks with then he tells me later that I need to find another broker to put that deal through because I no longer work there (mind you this was hours after deal closed and money orders were made payable to his company as per his text messages. He obviously doesn't care about his agents or his ethics with the way he should perform business but I do care about my Lic and will abide by the real estate laws. NOT PROFESSIONAL AT ALLL. I waited 30 Days to post this review to give Benjamin the benefit of the doubt, to give him a…read morechance to prove his word as a property management company but here is the proof that he is a SCAM artist. I believe that Icon Realty was involved in hacking my bank account. I leased an apartment in the heart of las olas/Fort Lauderdale from December 2016, from Atlantic loft llc. I agreed to pay a 2 month security deposit of $2400 as well as first, last and security (pretty standard) got my key, etcétera. After 2 different companies handling our property, ICON Realty came in January 2020 and revamped property by implementing a ***online payment service ***** aka , a way to get into your bank account. I questioned who this is and why I had to use this system to pay, not only to be replied with "It is our new system and you have to use it, you must pay rent this way or consult your attorney" As I went ahead and used it but decided to not renew my upcoming ending lease of 3/30/20. I emailed, texted and explain that I would not be renewing the lease because not only I don't trust the payment system, I had a very difficult time communicating with Benjamin (who by the way runs the whole thing). He ignored all my calls and the ones he replied, he did very rudely. I promptly moved out on schedule and handed him the keys along with my original lease agreement. He took the keys and said that He did not have a refund and I would need to wait 30 days to receive one on the mail. Now 30 days later. My bank account has been HACKED and bank investigated the multiple charges leading back to that January rent payment. I have been getting random withdrawals from different wiring entities totaling over 1k so far. Due to covid19, I can not yet file a claim in court. And the reason I am writing this is to WARN tenants and landlords about companies like this! I am attaching the refund check I just received. What a joke! See you in court.
